No impact. Miracle et. al. are Proc120s rather than ordinary procs: they fire every time the power is activated no matter what.
-
I'm worried that this change will be a major nerf to some popular slottings: Proctrops (Caltrops slotted with a large number of procs -- how is the PPM rate calculated for a long-duration damage patch?), Force Feedback +recharge in Footstomp or Energy Blast, the pet buildup proc in Assault Bot, and the Achilles' Heel proc in AoE defense debuffs.

"Cannon"? Well, there is that 1700s fort over in the Rogue Isles...

When someone disconnects on a TF, the game sometimes gets confused about who the team leader is. Try having other members of the team call the contact; the second person on the team list is usually the one who will get things to advance.

If you're planning to run the Loyalist Power stories, play a tank. You're given so many allies and escorts in those missions that you'll be forced into a tank playstyle no matter what your archetype.
-
Having two AMs out at once is fairly easy, and if you've just used Burnout to get a second Gang War, it will also recharge Acid Mortar so you can put down a third.

I've never played a Bots/Sonic or Bots/Thermal mastermind, but I've played Bots/Traps, Bots/Storm, Thugs/Thermal, and Sonic/Sonic.
Quote:In my experience, Disruption Field would be a waste on Bots/, since none of the bots reliably go into melee. It would be more useful on something like Thugs/, where the Bruiser loves to go into melee range (but also loves knocking things *out* of melee range. Oh well...)So, you mean enemies probably wouldn't be standing near enough? Is it still a good power to take with sets that have melee pets?
On my Thugs/Thermal, Heat Exhaustion is at least as valuable for the 37.5% damage debuff as it is for the regen debuff.Quote:That's good to know. It's one of the major deciding points. I didn't want Heat Exhaustion to feel like it was going to waste if I took it.
My experience is that the Protector Bots tend to do single large heals on an infrequent basis. The heals are great if one bot is taking occasional heavy hits, but not so great if the damage is frequent or is being spread out across all your bots.Quote:2) - How well do the defender bots back me up on healing? Would it be worth taking Repair to augment my healing, or would medicine be sufficient? -
Quote:I prefer Thugs/Traps:8 Thugs/Dark MMs would give you...
8 MMs.
3*8 thugs = 24.
2*8 enforcers = 16.
1*8 bruisers = 8.
1*8 dark servants = 8.
10*8 thugs from gang war = 80.
10*8 thugs from a second gang war with burnout = 80.
All together you've got 224 entities.
Add in 8 pairs of lore pets, and you're at 240.
Add in 8 Shivans from Bloody Bay, 248.
Add in 8 people using the Backup Radio temp power, and you're finally at 256, which is actually 255 not counting yourself. Of course, there are a ton of other temps you could utilize as well, but it's plausible to get there (if briefly).
8 MMs.
3*8 thugs = 24
2*8 enforcers = 16
1*8 bruisers = 8
10*8*2 thugs from Burnout double Gang War = 160
1*8 Forcefield Generators = 8
3*8 Acid Mortars = 24
2*8 Seeker Drones = 16
That's 264 buff targets *before* you throw in lore pets or temporaries. -
I don't know about GuyPerfect, but I wouldn't want to put in the hundreds of man-hours needed to compile such a list without some assurance that it would be acted on.

If the BIOS was toast, he wouldn't even be getting that far. "BootMgr" is a part of Windows.

He's got a Mac. I find it highly unlikely that a virus is involved.

There are reports that the "settings" button on the login screen is resetting the non-graphics options for whatever character you log into first. Could this be what's happening to you?

Did you teleport or get knocked back or anything? I think I found the hole you fell through, but I can't manage to get through it myself.

Quote:The AI is notoriously bad at lining up cones, and for cones this narrow, even a player would be hard-pressed to hit more than three or four targets at a time. You say they completely lack AoE over and over and over and it is simply not true. It IS true that they don't have much AoE, but...
Freezing Roar- Cone, 50 foot radius, 30 degree arc, 16 max targets.
Chilling Howl- Cone, 80 foot radius, 20 degree arc, 3 max target
This is a typical melee cone, maybe a bit narrower than most: it'll hit maybe two targets at a time.Quote:Claw Swipe- Cone, 7 foot radius, 90 degree arc, 16 max targets x2 (two lions)
This one's a real AoE with decent damage numbers. Too bad it's got such a lousy recharge.Quote:Terrible Howl- AoE, 15 foot radius, 16 max targets -

I don't bother. The group I usually run with just assumes that if someone faceplants, I'll hit Vengeance.

I don't know about running around, but I've seen the turrets in the RWZ jump.

You're the one responsible for "Chunky Updraft" and similar earth-based powers used by the Talons? I don't suppose you could tone down the motion and the shaking a bit? I ran Sister Solaris's arc last night, and there were a number of fights where I had to leave the computer and go lie down. The final mission took over two hours, less than half of which was spent actually playing.

If by "MM purple proc" you're referring to the Soulbound Allegiance proc, it only affects the pet in question. If you're referring to the Command of the Mastermind proc, it's an always-on defense aura just like the Call to Arms or Edict of the Master procs.

Quote:It's a bug: apparently, if an enemy has sleep resistance, sleeps that do damage don't work on them. Just about every enemy in DA has 50% sleep resistance.Hi All,
Playing through the new DA with my Sonic/Elec blaster and Siren's Song has no discernable effect on minion- and lt-level foes. I can still hold and stun them, but I can't sleep them. Is there a reason for this in-game, or it just a difficulty tweak for being "incarnate content?"
I would venture to guess on the technical side, you might need a Mag 4 sleep for them?
