Um, the fingers on the hand on the right look a bit off. The thighs, and especially the hamstrings are to skinny compared to the calves. (that may be part of the sort of anime look of the picture, and it really isn't a major thing) The feet also aren't quit right. The middle of the foot and the arch need to have a bit more taper and shape...right now the feet look kind of blocky, especially compared to the slender proportions of the rest of the figure.

Other then those three things I really like everything else about that picture. Very neat!

Oh, one last thing. That better not be real fur! Grrrr!

Pep, um...you asked, so I will tell you, because I love your stuff. For this piece, and a few of your others, the faces just don't seem to work with the rest of the image. I don't think everyone will agree with me, but your proportions and figures are all pretty realistic, but the facial features seem a bit to cartoonish and unbalanced. It doesn't quit mesh for me.

And now I feel bad. Because I really like your work.

Actually, my eyes keep getting drawn down to the figure at the base of the tree.

I think this one is my favorite. The standing figure is fantastic.

Wow! Big visual impact! I can see how Plasmastream's eyes could be troubling. The 3D programs might not be the best to bring those out. I bet you could do a better job with them with the medium you normally use. However, the whole 3-D cityscape combined with the figure really is impressive. I like it.

I was not offended at all. It was clear that people were posting what they thought about the subject, and not about me.

I was a bit upset and yes, a little bewildered at first because it seemed like some of the artists I really liked and respected were unhappy with me personally because of a suggestion I made. There was a post or two that almost made me cry, because I felt that like I have tried to be a really suportive cheerleader for this part of the coh community and that my suggestion was being scoffed at.

But, I got over it and realized that people were talking more about how they felt about the subject and not about me. I also realized that I was posting my opinion as to what people should do as if I was some sort of authority just because I had been around here longer then others. No one really should tell anyone else how they should or shouldn't post.

It is very gracious of you to try to explain where you were coming from. But you certainly don't owe me an apology.

Now, let's get back to sharing and appreciating art!

That is going to be another wonderful pic Graver! Just one question...is she supposed to be jumping in the air and just letting her sword dangle below her? Or is she balancing on the sword like on top of a pole or something. Because it is pretty much centered right below her bodymass when I first saw your rough sketches I though it was a flag pole she had climbed.
