Cowboys beat the Falcons, that was quite the surprise. -
Quote:would it be much to ask if we could get this kind of customability for current weapon sets? would so love a lightning blade...
Four types of bullets, selectable at character creation: Regular, Ice, Fire, Toxic (need confirmation on these) -
Quote:while I wouldn't complain if Lightning Rod critted for Stalkers...it would be incredibly broken when a Stalker can double crit. Not to mention LR doesn't break hide...Umm no. Quills, a damage aura for a Scrapper primary can critical. Blazing Aura, Death Shroud, and Lightning Field for Scrapper secondaries cannot.
Criticals are tied to the Scrapper primary damage skills and not secondary damage skills. Lightning Rod should critical for Scrappers and Stalkers. Shield Charge should not.
BU -> LR -> TS -> Placate -> Ball Lightning/whatever Patron AoE -
I guess I'm lucky, I've run that mission several times, I only failed it once, which was the very first time and I just zoned into the mish.

Quote:I lol'dAs I sat watching those games I was thinking "Ok I see Greenbay on the field, where are the Lions? I see the Patriots......but who are those high school football players disguised as the Titans?"
Green Bay was clearly out to the teach the Lions how to play football as everything the Lions did wrong, Green Bay would do right: example: Lions do a weak screen play and GB gets the ball then GB does their own screen play which works.....also Green Bay was bound and determined to make sure the Lions were humiliated via a shut out. Go Green Bay! -
holy crap...two teams got shut out today...day'um o_o
Patriots - 59
Titans - 0
just...wow...really?
Packers - 26
Lions - 0
oy...

The Dallas Cowboys signed return specialist Allen Rossum on Tuesday, a league source told NFL Network's Jason La Canfora.
Terms of the deal with Rossum, who was born and raised in Dallas, weren't known.
Rossum was released by the 49ers on Monday and immediately drew interest from three teams, according to the source.
Rossum, a 12-year veteran who ranks second in NFL history with 14,987 return yards, should help the Cowboys' special-teams units. Miles Austin has returned kickoffs, but he broke out with a 250-yard, two-touchdown performance Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs and is needed to play a prominent receiver role with Roy Williams injured. Felix Jones also has returned kickoffs, but he's hurt, and Patrick Crayton and Terence Newman both have misplayed punts this season.
Rossum had one of his best seasons in 2008, setting career highs of 26.8 yards per kickoff return and 14.9 per punt return. However, he was inactive in the 49ers' last two games and was cut to make roster room for rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree, who ended his prolonged contract holdout.
"I think teams have to approach our return game differently when I'm on the field," Rossum said Monday. "These last two weeks before every game, they've been shocked that I'm not up. I know I'm doing something good when those teams approach me and say, 'Hey, man, we've been preparing for you all week.' I'm not worried about it."
The Cowboys also released cornerback Cletis Gordon and re-signed running back Chauncey Washington -
...talk to a mod to have it removed? leaving rude/crude messages in rep comments are as much subject to removal and punishment as posts are, since nobody is anonymous to the moderators. You can also minimize the window area where reps are so you don't see them when you go into your user cp

Quote:Bane...that's comedy gold right there. Anyone who claims free speech rights in a video game is a fool to begin with.I hate every one. The whole chan fails.
Also, the guy who claims that being silenced is against his right to free speech can go stick it some where else. Also to the guy saying that he wants to get the devs in on the chan drama because somebody bad mouthed his sg; GROW A PAIR. What are you 12? The devs don't have time to deal with your drama. Nor should they care. If they ban any one it should be YOU and the guy who goes on about free speech. True You have a right to your opinion, but you dont have the right to hurt any body with your opinion. I have half a mind to log in and kick every body from the global. All you drama people make the rest of the Internet look bad. Thats right I said it, you make the INTERNET look bad; and we all know what kind of crap is on the Internet. Maybe if were lucky the will lock this thread and disband the chan. That would be the best thing ever. -
there's not enough rage in here, this thread did not deliver.

Quote:heh, I had it planned like that from the beginning when I rolled my Shield/DM Tanker, but that was pretty much a must for me, gather them up, Soul Drain + AAO -> Shield ChargeHonestly that surprises me a bit. Being the first Shield tank I have gotten to his level outside of beta I assumed that leading with Shield Charge was common practice and the lack of AAO boosting during the teleport was an acceptable loss.
Is it the same for /Elec tanks, in general? Lead with another attack and then let loose with Lightning rod local? In general...I know there will be situations where the teleport will be useful, but for your bread and butter attack chain. -

I think PB's are better in the early to mid game to whereas WS's seem to shine mid to late.

Quote:always fun...Numerous reports of various mez/hold animations not playing correctly. I know that this is something we've looked into before, and I suspect that this is another in a string of "was fixed, but got unfixed by the dastardly Branch 20"
Branch 20 is Paragon's latest nemesis.
Petrifying Gaze and Cosmic Burst don't play the correct animations either
Petrifying Gaze tends to use the stunned animation
Cosmic Burst doesn't always play the stunned animation, the enemies just stand there like nothing happened. -

Quote:there are exceptions, one of them being a older (well I guess new back thenupdates are what keeps your card running at optimal performance. same thing as updates for your operating system. it is always a good idea to get the latest drivers.
) ATI card I used when I was playing City the first couple of years, I forget which one I had back then, but I remember the newer drivers causing problems so I revert to older drivers and those problems went away and I always have automatic update running on my comp
