I'd would really like to see a flag option to leave feedback as anonymous if you want to, but still let you elect to attach your name. That way if you want the possibility to engage in conversation with the designer (to help refine the arc) you can, or if you suspect its going to turn out badly you can avoid it.
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd like to point out that since the global handle of the publisher is part of the information provided about a published arc, if the submit comment feedback were made annonymous, it would still be quite possible to leave feedback that your global was attached to. Simply send the author a regular global tell instead of using the submit comment mechanism. For this reason I am very much in favor of the built in feedback mechanism becoming annonymous. If it was made so, players would have the option of whether they wanted their feedback to be annonymous or not. More options in this case is the better path imo, because there are reasons and situations where both are desirable. -
I think this event is a great idea, particularly as a means of helping new players get plugged into the great community here on Justice. You can count on my support of this thru attendance and involvement. I think there is a very good chance that i14 will mean a substantial influx of new and returning players to the game in the coming months, kudos to our PERC reps for being ahead of the curve enought to anticipate this and plan for it.

On the other hand, given the amount that has to be crafted for the last two badges (especially the last one), it doesn't seem unreasonable to reduce Fabricator a LOT. No character could possibly use all the crafts needed,

I would just like to address this and other hand wringing, wailing and moaning and knashing of teeth about the insurmountable, unfair and unreasonable requirements for Master Craftsman and above all Fabricator that I have seen in this thread and others. Most specifically this claim:

and there isn't any easy way to get rid of the surplus.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have Fabricator. It didn't take forever and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. In fact it made me quite a bit of money. It was really simple. Once I had the level 50 crafting badges for a few of the more commonly in demand IO's I began to craft them in quantity and sell them on the market. The going rate for most of the in demand stuff tends to stay around 300k per. When doing this, having 20 sales slots on that toon at the market meant I could sell 20 at a time. If diligent, I had little trouble making and selling 100 per day, making a profit on average of around 1 million per batch of 20 with a time investment of 5 minutes or so per batch all told to buy the components, craft, take to market and price. I recommend doing this in steel, where the university is right next to the market, in order to minimize travel time back and forth.
You can whine all you want, but getting this badge is neither complicated, difficult, nor impoverishing. It merely requires some time and a little diligence. And it is quite profitable in the meantime. Moreover, you're doing the community a service by providing a desired product at a price cheaper than those without the relevant badge can produce it for themselves. Everyone wins. -

What is this "snow" you speak of? We have no such thing in North Carolina.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sorry folks, Mike must be either new to the state (damn carpetbaggers!) or have memory problems. What he meant to say is we have no such thing in NC since climate change hit. Go back more than a handful of years and we could count on at least one good snow per winter, usually. -
I blame Daikon for the spike in crude oil prices (which has nothing to do with ballooning demand in India and China btw), the credit crisis and related decline in home values nationwide, and the fact that no one seems to have noticed that the financial services sector (21%) has overtaken manufacturing (12%) as the largest single component of Gross Domestic Product. Producing more derivatives and collatarilized mortgage obligations (CMO's) that are really just thinly disguising piles of risk and toxic financial waste than actual cars, computers or other assorted widgets that people actually need is not a good way to build a strong national economy. Why all of this is Daikon's fault I'm not entirely sure, but I feel strongly that it is somehow because I just can't entirely trust someone who names themselves after the Japanese word for radish.

It's Frog's fault I take so long posting a new quote lately in my own quote thread.

Good stuff X-9! I've actually got a great Kevin Pollack story that goes right along with that bit. My business partner and I saw him perform it as part of his routine when he was in town a couple of years ago. After the show we're standing around outside the comedy club shooting the breeze with our dates and Pollack himself comes walking up to us and asks "Hey what are you guys doing tonite? Mind if I tag along?" To which my date responded, and I quote "[censored] no!" We spent the rest of the night at one of the upscale joints downtown hanging out with Mr. Kevin Pollack himself. When he found out we operated a movie memorabilia business he told us a great story about how he "accidently" got into the film industry. Funny guy. Total blast to hang out with. The only catch was he called his wife and made us all talk to her. He explained that this was her way of making sure he wasn't cheating on her, if he wasn't in his hotel room when she called on nights he was out of town, he had to call her and let her speak to the people he was hanging out with. To this day I have no idea if he was serious or not.
Anyway, my partner and I like to mess with each other by calling the other's cell saying random stuff when the other answers and hanging up. Ever since that show "Frankenstein never scared me..." has been a favorite random qoute staple.
All I can say is, if you ever go to see Kevin Pollack perform at a comedy club, it might be worth hanging around outside the club afterwards, you could wind up hanging out with a movie star for the evening. -

I'm going to stick my two influence in here and say I highly recommend ventrilo. Although you do have to pay for it, the sound quality is significantly superior to TS and I've found that if your group is active it's very easy to setup a link on your website where members can donate a few bucks to a paypal account every so often to help pay for the server. -
The Thrill Kill Kult
Originally founded first month of Coh but long dormant, TTKK has recently been revived to serve as a champion side hero home for members of the Justice based VG Pandemonium who have used up all their toon slots on justice and were looking to make heros on another server. Since myself and several other veteran coh members of PDM originally hailed from Champion pre COV, I offered to reopen the doors of my old sg for their use. Since this sg is for members of a guild primarily based elsewhere, at the present time we are not really accepting new applicants. However anyone wishing to contact me about matters related to this group can do so thru my global @Kaiser Soze.
P.S. Please note that this sg is not an official chapter of PDM and therefore please refrain from contacting any other leaders or officers of PDM regarding TTKK related matters.
