Something I want to clarify about this statement, I'm not saying that any "perfect" players really are perfect and that they'll always be able to do better than anyone else.
To rephrase the question, I'll use a hypothetical.
Say you have a team with 7 people and you have 2 people you can choose for the last spot (I honestly hate this scenario, because I hate for people to be left out, but stay with me). Which would you prefer, a player who isn't that good but has the perfect toon to fit the team synergy, or the player who you know is a good player, but has nothing to bring to the table that promotes team synergy? I know there will be outliers (with MoSTF runs, you do need to specialize at least a little to ensure a smooth run for example) but just speaking generally.
A. Another tank that is 60% competent.
B. A Cold that is 58% competent.
I would probably pick the cold.
However I would never play a tank in the firstplace, so it's a moot point for me =) -

As Silas said there are a few rare cases where powersets matter, but even in those cases you still need a good player. -

All I can think of is replacing the dam/rech in Siphon Life with a dam/end.
You could take some slots out of fire blast if you don't use it much, since you have a good chain without it.
You could replace some of the lotg (not the 7.5s) with Cytoskeletons.
Is Dark Consumption not up enough for you? -

I'm happy about lots of things. The few things I wish were different:
power customization for power pools/epic pools
fix the BSF bugs (MM temp and no masters badge awarded)
fix the Hess bugs
the fact that masters badges are now meaningless due to the -1 setting -

The MM temp is bugged again. You could try petitioning it, but you might not get anything.
Also, if you're trying for masters, the badge isn't being rewarded.
It sucks. -
Yep, seems pretty clear they are just avoiding the issue for now. Maybe this coming week something will happen.

Heads up to those thinking of running it:
The MM temp doesn't work anymore. At least it wasn't working for us. We used it exactly the same way we always do for these runs. He would phase constantly regardless. However we still managed to succesfully complete it with no deaths and no temps. The badge wasn't awarded though. We did set the requirements, and we've been sitting here for over an hour with the success screen up waiting for a GM to respond to our petition.
So in conclusion: this sucks. -
I won't run any master tf/sf on -1. Feels dirty.
