Hey Bud. You'll want more resistance slotting (high pain tolerance and mind over body). Other than that it looks fine. You might consider taking dark obliteration over Recall Friend.
On an LRSF and Hami there are parts where you will need inspirations or support, but that's true for any brute.
20-30 defense is a good amount to have on WP. I like to stick the +3 resistance unique on WP characters also if you can afford it. -
Agreed.
I love how the villain respecs are designed. -
What level are you trying him on? He spawns 50-54.

I know for a fact that the power analyzer doesn't properly show mez protection for things like GMs/AVs/Monsters.
-
I'm so jealous of his super controller
but stoked that I could complete it as intended with even a normal character -
Are the drop rates for different HOs the same? I ask because I've gotten so many peroxisomes and centrioles on LRSFs that I decided to keep track after a while. Here is the data for my last 17 LRSFs:
Centriole
Centriole
Peroxisome
Nucleolus
Centriole

As you can see, mostly Centrioles and Peroxisomes with 2 Nucleolus. Am I just abnormally unlucky? -
Quote:When I told my friend about the Arcana challenge he immediately tried it on his invuln scrapper, and died just by fighting the psi boss. He didn't even get to spawn the first wave. It was hilarious.Oh, another weakness of most +2x8 missions - you can almost certainly plow through a single spawn in 3 minutes. That means unless there ARE defense debuffers, which give a couple secondaries an "unfair" advantage, then Invunerability + patience for the win. Unstoppable isn't an auto-win in the RWZ challenge. Unless you have HUGE damage output, you're going to have to deal with the crash during the fight. And if you DO have huge damage output, well, good job.
For comparison, notice how Arcanaville's challenge, despite being against low level enemies (designed for +2x1 maximum), will probably still give a lot of trouble to Invulnerability. The main boss is psionic, which is your weakness. But you can't just kill the main boss, or you'll get owned by multiple challenge spawns at once. I'm guessing you could pull it off by first clearing the map, then doing Unstoppable through each spawn, then running to the opposite side of the map to lose boss aggro, rinse and repeat. But at least there's a LITTLE bit of strategy involved other than patience. And it wouldn't surprise me if it still isn't as easy as I'm suggesting, since Arcanaville seems to have one of the best understandings of, well, everything in this game. -

Yep I have the exact same thing. All other games are flawless. It was pretty frustrating. If you are willing to no see some of your powers the /suppressclosefxdist 300 does wonders.

This happens to me as well. I just ordered a new computer because I couldn't find a solution.
In the meantime I found that doing /suppressclosefxdist 300
has helped a lot (make sure suppress close fx is enabled in options also). Though it makes it hard to tell what powers are on. -
I know the following, for what it's worth:
Recluse does debuff defense with at least one of his attacks
Recluse gets a tohit buff from the towers (blue I believe)
People have told me that 75% is the amount of defense needed to floor his chance of hitting you with that tower up. However that assumes he never debuffs your defense, so a bit more is good.
I don't know much about the knockback situation. -
Quote:Excellent, thank you.I'm pretty sure there are still people who have 50+ training enhancements stored away in bins, somewhere. I wouldn't use anything that's EVER existed in the game as a place to "store" excess inf in bid-form, on the off chance that someone might still have one.
I tend to recommend level 52-53 recipes. Those have never existed, and if something happened that caused them to suddenly start existing, we'd find out about it on the test server before it went live. -
Good to know. So are there any recipes/enhancements I shouldn't use for this?
-
I have some questions about holding more than 2 billion on one character:
1. How does it work? My guess is you bid say 1 billion on some level 53 recipe/enhancement that doesn't exist.
2. Are there any risks involved?
3. Which recipes work for this? If I recall there are some HOs or something that do exist at level 53, so I wouldn't want to choose those right? -
I always feel left out when people talk about drinks...

Quote:I haven't tested it since the most recent patch, but before that it was definitely bugged.I think the Mastermind temp power is bugged again. Sunday and again last night while running this SF, we have been having great difficulty preventing Reichsman from using "Unbreakable". The Masterminds are popping their temp power in his face, but he still phases at a little under half health. This is resulting in one of the most tedious missions in the game taking significantly longer than it needs to.
Please take a look at it. -
nice silas
Also, I'm back in game. Customer service was able to help me a bit (plus I ordered a new computer). -
Practically no lag at all, even on my crappy laptop without a graphics card
-
I'd say fire/fire, since rage is irrelevant at the damage cap, and just gives you more downtime.

Feel free to PM me any questions you have. The general strategy is to have a huge amount of recharge so that you can keep an AV perma-confused. This allows you to have them kill eachother. There are a lot of difficulties you will encounter, and I highly recommend getting shivs/nukes beforehand (I had to use both). Kronos in particular is a pain due to the huge psi resistance.
