Another thing you can do, if you find that people are dying even with a competent stalker, is have everyone pop oranges/purples/demonic around that time.
-
It's hard to say. I judge based on the number of enemies in the room. Typically I have everyone on vent so I can tell the stalker when to click them (if they aren't experienced at it). If people start taking significant amounts of damage, it means a glowie should be clicked asap. Like I said though, having some good buffs gives you more leeway if you are lucky enough to have experienced ones.
-
The ambushes aren't a problem if the stalker is good at timing the glowie clicks. That's really the key there.
Having veats/corrs that give +def or +res helps a lot just in case the stalker isn't timely. -

Why is everyone putting fulcrum shift so late? Have capped damage earlier!
-
toy soldier's costume is so good. I'm glad he won!

I tend to go to bed pretty early Dazz. Is there a way I could arrange to be auctioned off early in the event? Otherwise I won't be able to participate.
Another question... can a bidee also be a bidder for other bidees? -

Quote:Both are excellent combos. Good damage, good buffs/debuffs. Go with whichever you like.Alrighty well I grabbed myself the name Double Dutch. Most peoples minds probably instantly go to the jump rope game but it's original meaning was pretty much speaking in gibberish. This inspired me to go sonic.
I'm just wondering, is a Sonic/Sonic corruptor a good or a bad way to go?.
I know some will say well it depends how you like to play but just in a general sort of thing though, how does it go?.
or maybe Sonic/Kin?
How do the two sets compare? Sonic/Sonic or Sonic/Kin? -
Ah ok, thanks for the info. Guess I'll be avoiding dual pistols
-
Do you have a post on this? The last post I saw from BaB on the subject listed a bunch of sets that he had managed to do successfully.
-
Do we know if dual pistols is one of the sets BaB is removing the redraw from? That will affect my AT choices...
-
Technically walk will... but not ideal for combat. You can also just tap the movement key repeatedly to go a bit slower. Neither is ideal though.

I've heard rumors that if you get some crazy amount of recharge it's still possible to perma dom in pvp. This true or just rumor? (if so what's the recharge number)
Also would mind/fire be decent in pvp? Last time I did any pvp was pre-i13, and mids seems to be woefully lacking on accurate pvp info. -
Quote:It was ice/fire. I could only barely do it though, and not against any AV higher than lvl 50. Having /earth or a secondary with power boost would have helped.I suppose you're right. The only two primaries I've personally done it on is Fire and Mind. I have a friend that has done it with Ice, but it might have been matched up with the Ice secondary. Also you need to factor in the AV level, a lvl 50 AV will be a lot easier to perma-mez than a lvl 53.
mind/* and fire/* are the primaries of choice if you want to be able to do the upper lvl AVs (52 or 53 for instance). -
Quote:It's because AVs all have something like 85 resistance to tohit an defense debuffs, so that on top of the purple patch can make them pretty much useless in many scenarios.Oops. Not sure what I was thinking then. I have this nagging (and apparently wrong) thing in the back of my head telling me that damage and resistance debuffs are not reduced as much or in the same way as to-hit and defense debuffs. I don't know why, I must be getting it mixed up with something. I hate when the brain gets full. That will teach me to post while I am trying to figure out how to do plumbing.

Brutes are plenty survivable with willpower. With proper inspiration management you'll never die.
However if you plan on skipping taunt, you should know that willpower is not great (comparatively) at keeping aggro. -
Quote:That's an interesting point. I wonder how much of an effect this would be in practice. I know it wouldn't change my habits. I would almost always team, and occasionally I would solo one. For me it would simply remove the need to annoy others for starting them solo. I wonder how it would affect others.I disagree. I'm not a fan of changing them because, while you can solo them if you want to now, and it really doesn't take that much work to get people to sign up just to start the TF and then quit it, it does tend to encourage teaming to do them. And that is the point of them, to be the really only team-based content that we have.
It's great that people can solo them, but to get rid of the factors that do encourage you to run them as a team just doesn't make any sense to me. -
What uberguy said. I don't know of any debuffs that are unaffected by the purple patch.

Are you certain of this? Have you tested it against hami for instance? I'd be curious to know.

Be sure to take and slot fire blast, blaze, dominate, confuse, terrify, and mass confusion. The rest are up to you. I highly recommend hasten and stamina as well.
