Thanks for the support!
To be honest, criticism comes with the job. I'm not fond of personal attacks, but I understand that people are passionate. Heck, I worked in a comic book store (yep, I was comic book guy), so I understand the vagaries of working with the customer. One thing is tantamount, however - you guys are the PAYING subscribers. I might not like the feedback, but everyone is entitled to an opinion. Admittedly, honey is usually more effective than vinegar, but I always try to look beyond that...

Honey was my yearly subscriptions which you wont be getting anymore. Its month to month from now on for me how do you like that vinegar.
[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't that paying them more money?
[/ QUOTE ]
No because now I can cancel and come back when I feel like paying.
[/ QUOTE ]
Did you know you get a discount when you buy larger chunks of time? So, if you're paying monthly, you are paying more per month than when you pay yearly.
[/ QUOTE ]
$14.99 a month
$143.40= $11.95 a month
$36 difference
Yes I do but as I see it now , I wont need to pay for at least 6 months out of the year. Ill just play every other month , since it takes at least 4 months for any new content to come out. And if its nothing I like I can wait till the next issue. -

I think the correct term is...
KAWAII!!
Sorry, it had to be said. You know it did.

LOL thats funny I wasn't originally going to make it that style but with dwarf it was hard to show emotion so I had to go there.
Edit
And again thanks for teh great comments all of you. -
Thanks Guys
it was a little hard to do since reference photos for dwarf form are hard to come by and no one really draws them since they are not unique unlike our human forms.
Edit.
Yes quake I had left my pen and paper only for work as of late I haven't had much desire to draw again until yesterday. -
I was inspired last night to draw and this is what I came up with.
I added color and maybe later I will add more detail and shading. Hope you guys like it.

They wanted it to go into CoH ... But between limitations of design and resourses, they couldn't do it ... Now that they have money (from us), they're gonna make the game that CoH was supposed to (they wanted it to) be.
They said it themselves.

Umm, I don't feel like Westwood withheld things and ripped me off with Command and Conquer 1 even though Command and Conquer 3 looks like it's going to be just a little better then C&C 1 was.
There's such a big multi-year gap in the release dates (looks to be 5 years between CoH and MUO) that I really don't feel like product 1 was rushed out the door simply to get dollars to fund product 2.
[/ QUOTE ]
The difference between C&C and C&C 3 is..., they are the same franchise. If Cryptic would have said CoH 2.0 is going to be everything we wanted to have in CoH; I dont think many would complain too much. -

With Guild Wars sure you could make due with never buying an expainsion but you know the game eventually looses its shine just a matter of time when youll want to upgrade
[/ QUOTE ]
I am not complaining about this issue , yes i would like to see more but the difference between GW and CoH/V is you can pay the 50 bucks for the next expansion when you feel it has lost its shine. -

The costumes were what drew me into the game, and it's what has the most lasting appeal. A friend demoed the costume editor to me, and I was stuck.
The storyline would be a contender, if it wasn't so <mild expletetive> hard to follow when grouping - the clues are hidden away in submenus and popups, and only the mission owner can see what the contact says in conclusion when you return after each mission. I wish there was a simpler solution (e.g. a "story" chat channel like the "combat" one) for following the storyline.
Playing with the base editor is great fun - I could spend hours and hours with it (fortune has it that I'm the architect in one of the SGs I'm a member of). Pity there is almost no reason for the SG members to use that base...

My thoughts exactly -

[ QUOTE ]
Intestingly, costumes have no gameplay value. They don't boost damage. They don't boost resistance. They don't boost defense. They're only for show.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes, and everyone can see them. You look at my character, you see my costume.
[ QUOTE ]
Admittedly, there's not quite the same amount of textures, colors, etc., but there's still a lot of versatility. And the layout possibilities are endless.
[/ QUOTE ]
And they're hidden away, effectively in their own dimension. Other people can see my costume and go 'wow' simply by my flying past. To see my base, they have to be in a coalition with me, or on my team while we go there (and for that to happen, we need to have a reason for them to go, other than me saying 'come check out the base'). They can't simply happen across it and go 'wow!'
When something has substantial show value, you have to be able to show it off!

I've searched to no avail. Is there a guide for the CoP for those of us who are new to it?

Im glad to hear that you are going to be keeping a team heavily involved with CoX.
I think a re-introduction of everyone on the team and what they do would be much appreciated.
