  1. I've tried to run this character a few times before, initially as a BS/Regen, but I hated Regen. He didn't last too long and I couldn't decide on a secondary. Once Shields came out, I couldn't get the right outfit because he's intended to be a mecha/Iron-Man type and the costume pieces available couldn't quite give me the look I wanted. Yeah, I had higher standards costume wise by then. Finally, I've gotten an outfit that I find satisfactory.

This is will be the first Scrapper that I'll be taking to level 50. My previous scrapper just served as a Bridge for PLing before the changes.

NOTE: Wanted to get Afterburner, but couldn't find a place for it with Aid Self so I'm skipping a travel power altogether. Instead, I'm gonna be using Jet Packs which will work better with his look anyways. Since he won't be a first tier character for me, I'm not going to invest in getting him a Gladiator Proc.

Besides, if we were to get the option to have staff members out of the whole deal on top of it all, I'm sure the rage of most base builders would be quelled.
  4. My bad, BTW. I meant Interface, but Reactive was on my mind.

That explanation doesn't really work for me because it's not a basic enhancement. It is power in of itself.
  5. http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/8...cefacecape.png

I'd pay 800 PP for that top with the bottom point coming up higher to be hidden by insignias. Both of the competition have this available and it'd just be great to finally have my main look exactly how he's supposed to. (Thank you to Imperial Defense for the gloves, boots, and belt, BTW.)
  6. For whatever reason, they couldn't finish it for Epic and Pool powers and there's never been enough incentives for them to finish it.

So, knowing this issue, why can't change the colors on Interface powers? Meanwhile, we can even modify the energy field when we summon Lore pets. Does not compute.
  7. Why does Greater Fire Sword sound like a screeching large bird?

There is an alternate option, but it may be hard. Now, I believe the way SG base storage currently works is they take the various entity IDs, scales, and orientations of all of the items, and then place save them in place. What could be done is, when lairs are made, they could just make aesthetic copies of all of the current items updated with new code, and then once the lair system is ready they can just take the layouts of each base (which may just be a text file), change the files for new code/new items, and then put them back onto the server.
If that were do-able, wouldn't they have this?

    Yeah, I'd be good.

    My recommendations:
    • We cannot lose any features or items current provided. NONE.
    • No increase on prestige costs for ANYTHING.
    • Give the player base 45 day notice. Not just through the game, but E-Mails. This is THAT big.
    • There are a lot of crazy base designs. Make these things do-able without using so many items.
    • Permit Base Surroundings: Underwater, Outerspace, Moon, Underground, Atlas Park, etc.
    • New Items: Beds, medical equipment (stuff already in-game), windows, doors, etc.
    • New Item Themes: Advanced tech, advanced arcane, grunge, retro, etc.
    • Allow Staff: (Design from scratch People, (Modify colors animals, robots. Add it to the store.

Yeah, I can see how Transfusion, Increase Density, Transference, and Fulcrum Shift wouldn't be useful at all. Siphon Speed also slows your enemies and increases your speed. Speed Boost would enhance Recovery and Speed for the bots. But that's not useful either.
  11. Love the star belt. Bout time.
  12. And of course, the Tanker bonuses still suck.

Except, this is where you're wrong. Bases have crashed and the Devs were forced to roll things back.

That's part of the problem: the system is so old, they can't do it.

In the most recent case, Hero 1 is the son of Hero One although his path to assuming the mantle was a rocky one. The current Hero 1 didn’t initially want the responsibility that comes with being a super-powered hero but events transpired that changed his mind…and his destiny. The death of his father landed the title of Hero 1 and custodianship of Excalibur squarely in his lap. The transition from a rough and tumble bloke living in London to the single most influential hero of the Rikti War was long and difficult, but in the end Hero 1 proved to be one of the greatest heroes to ever live.
It's best to stay away from this. Being Hero 1's son means you'd have to take the mantle and Excalibur and that's just not going to happen.
  15. I had grabbed Shockwave instead of Eviscerate because of the shorter animation time and longer range. Gonna try out Eviscerate instead though.
  16. Um, first one is an animated movie. Second one is a cartoon.

Ever noticed how Jean Grey, Storm, and Rogue couldn't fly in the X-Men films or Clark took forever to get and learn his powers on Smallville? ...Yeah.
  17. I remember reading that one of these sucked, but I can't remember which and why.

    Not at all.

WP + CJ or Hover + Tough + Weave + Maneuvers + Physical Perfection + IOs = HIGH survivability for Tanking.

The hulk's real vulnerability is to psi and magic mind control. He has been control by Loki and others use mind control powers and spell. Hulk is particually vulnerable to the sedation powers of telepaths. Hulk is far more vulnerable to mental manipulation and such then he is physical damage. His weak mind and low level INT makes him a almost a perfect patsy for mental manipulation. In the end if there any question to Hulk resistance to psi, Hulk has been possesed by the shadow king and others, so much for his vaulted Willpower.
Not interested in the game mechanics of some card game in the interest of fairness. Hulk doesn't frequently turn back into Banner during battles. WP doesn't offer the resists, but it allows for a total protection to keep you alive just the same.

When Loki manipulated the Hulk, leading to the creation of The Avengers, he did not do so with mind control. He did so with an illusion. He tricks people using his astral form and shape-shifting. Shadow King's never even made an appearance outside of an X-Book besides Citizen V and the V-Battalion Everlasting so I have to question when that supposedly took place.

    I could go on, but...

There's a FAR difference between the best attack chain for a primary and adding powers from outside of that primary. Not everyone wants to attain the highest DPS possible in the game. Some people have other plans with their builds and thus want the highest DPS primary to make up for it.
  22. Yeah, but enhancements boost those numbers substantially.

Yes, but double stacked (easy to do) Follow Up can give you a sustainable 60% Damage Boost and Rage grants 160%.

    Jab 26.5

    Haymaker 45.6
    KO blow 66.6
I recommend including ArcanaTime. For about 5 minutes, I was stumped trying to figure how you were getting that. That's also un-enhanced and without build-ups.

    Also, Follow Up isn't 40.20, but 12.64
  24. Yeah, it is the lowest Damage Per Activation, but it's still the highest DPS attack in the set.

With the 250% recharge and 3 Damage IOs, Swipe is putting out 51.49 DPS

Also, Fury wasn't even listed in there.
