You still end up with way too many pages on some of the threads on this forum.

I can do that right now. It is called, create a new character. "I really wish I had a DA/SS tank. I know, I'll start one!" Pretty simple.

I'm pretty sure no one would try to deal with the Apocalypse event banners, if they even happen there, since the timer would probably run out just flying from one banner to the other.
All of the above do happen in IP. I have been in zone for each of them in the last few weeks. Only once did an impromptu team happen to beat on zombies. The other stuff was ignored.

It is apparent you don't understand, since that is exactly the model that Freedom is using. Their approach is almost exactly like one used by another hybrid, dealing with short people carrying around a ring. Right down to the market layout. If I canceled my subscription and went premium, the only thing I would lose is Incarnate abilities and access to new features being introduced with Freedom. Since I have never paid for those things, I would not be losing anything I have paid for.

That is one of the problems with the Contact Finder. It doesn't include Detectives or the regular contacts in KR. Once you finish Twinshot's arc at level 8, you are basically funneled into the Hollows if you don't know how to find other contacts. And if you do an AP bank run to open one of the old contacts in KR, the first thing he does is send you to talk to Wincott.
  6. My primary build is for soloing. I can team with it, but it is very sub-par for an Inv tank. I didn't mind that, since I very seldom team. But the Incarnate stuff is putting me out into teaming more, so I am working on a build for running TFs and Trials, getting defenses and resists capped and handing out less damage. My third build I am looking at making an exemp build, for running stuff from 25 or 30 down.

    Can't log in

Just for another possibility, since the patch a week or so ago, I have had quite a bit of trouble zoning into city zones. Right after the patch, I would get kicked to the login screen everytime I zoned into a city zone, whether from a mission map, city zone, or base. Yesterday I logged in okay, then went from IP to Talos. I got kicked to the login screen 5 times before I finally finished making it to Talos. I think something they did on the patch to decrease zone population caps and speed zoning is causing a timeout on slow connections and/or machines.

I was just working on a Viking type character today wishing we had more stuff like leather armor. If they start with the pieces shown and add more, to better emulate main and leather armors, I will have to use up some of my Points for costume pieces. Well, more of my points.

Probably some marketing mumbo jumbo to maximize sales. *sigh* Guess I can kill time giving the other 2 powersets a longer try.
They have said they wand new things in the store every week. While Street Justice seems to be pretty much ready to go, it makes sense to hold it back a month or so to be one of those brand new weekly items. I would expect the same kind of thing to happen for every new Issue in the future. They give us one or two neat things in the release, but during testing we will see some of the stuff that will show up in the store later.

First Lambda I did, we had a cutscene bomber. I saw him standing by the door as I headed back from the hospital and didn't know why he was there rather than in one of the groups getting acids and grenades. Then I saw the cutscene with him protesting Marauder. It was the League leader.

    Any way too...

Yes, you can move costumes, playernotes, and AE stuff from Test or Beta to your Live account, just copy from the directory under the Beta directory to the corresponding place under the live directory. And you wouldn't be able to get around having to purchase the pieces that way anyway.

All of this. I have to run team stuff of any kind on the lowest possible graphics, and I still end up with slideshows very often in things like Mothership Raids and the trials. If it was something that actually required tactics to deal with, putting up with it would be fine. But it doesn't require anything at all, becasue it is dealt with by ignoring it. Losing something that has no real effect on the battle would be a good thing.

In terms of Keyes in general, I enjoyed it. The mechanics are different, and it does require some thinking and more leadership than the other iTrials. I hope the increased award does encourage it to be ran more often. OTOH, I would not object at all to increasing the fun factor, whatever that may be for different people, if that would help get it ran even more.

The AVs seem to be really variable in the time it takes to get the rings, which can make it hard to avoid. On a trial earlier this week, I had moved out to let the rings fade. Then I queued Knockout Blow on Siege and jumped back in. Before it finished animating, I had 2 warnings, right after it hit, I was sequestered. I have been hit with it a few times on my way out of the scrum, when I didn't react fast enough to the second warning to get away completely, but that was the first time I have actually be sequestered in the middle of the fight. Fortunately it didn't seem to cause many if any problems, but it was both surprising and irritating.

  15. When I21 hits, zone events will be turned off in AP. I think Mercy also, but am not sure.

It is the Muppets and OKGO. How could it not have taken a strange turn? Or rather, another strange turn.

But now I want to see the whole episode with OKGO as their guest.
  18. There is also the possibility of a bug. Someone on Virtue the other day was doing a mayhem mission in Atlas. They died in mission and ended up in Atlas Park hospital.
  19. Let's see, if you start now, you get COH for $1.99 and a month of playing time. You also start as a Premium player, instead of a Free player (And there is a real difference between the two.) and you get 400 PP per month of subscribing from now until I21 launches, with a minimum of 1 month. Sounds pretty good to me.

Frankly, I would get the current sale of the base game and keep my eye out on Steam to see if they have another $10.00 sale on the complete GR. If they do, that is another month of game time, 400 more points, 2 extra global slots and access to most of the GR stuff without having to buy points in the market for it.

ETA: Oh, and you can't buy Incarnate abilities. That is VIP only.
  20. I hope they fix it soon. Clicked into a BAF last night, saw the loading screen for it, then the loading screen for the game, then the loading screen for RWZ and I was back where I started, all alone.

An idiot? No, never. Insane? Well, there is an argument that could be made for that. I just hope you are going to limit yourself to only re-starting for Issue releases after Freedom launches, since if you have to re-start every time something is added to the market, or even when a new powerset is added, the insanity question will be a lot less uncertain.

Could form the basis for major overlapping arcs even. . .
The biggest problem I can see with the whole idea is, we would have to go back and start over with Issue 1 again.

    Macro Question

I don't have experience with your particular keyboard, but I do have an original Logitech G15 with 18 macro keys. I have found 2 ways to do what you are asking about.
    1. Use the macro to call a keybind. I have a macro key set up to call shift+s. On all of my characters that have stealth powers, I bind that power to the shift+s key. Easy to set up and it lets you use keys that are not normal, like alt+/ for things.
    2. Have the macro type in the entire command and execute it. This works, but is actually pretty unwieldy and I wouldn't use it for what you want. I have it set up to email stuff to myself in game, filling in the address, then tabbing down to put something in the message, after I create the new email. But it is too easy for lag to cause missed keys or whatever in the middle so combat, especially on the iTrials, plus it is more information contributing to the lag.

There are probably ways to use whatever programming language you keyboard has, but I don't really think you need to for what you want.
