Maybe aroud tax time I'll shell out some cash for stuff, but for now I'll just enjoy the free stuff and whatever I can get with the points I have already. -
Of course, Free players can't actually use Broadcast or send tells. Which may cramp the style of some of the sellers. Can't just sit there and say "Send me a tell" and get results from the Free players. It is easy to get tells and broadcast open, they just need to buy $5.00 worth of points. At which point they are supporting the game and I can live with it.

No, you can only use them for subscribing. Someone on Beta suggested selling point cards, but I don't remember any red name response to that. And really, they want people to subscribe to the game, so I am not sure how likely something like that is.

I got 1750 on my main account, 1600 on my second account I created in July. It may be we received the 400 each month that they banked on the 1st (or as soon as the account was created), then we got 400 (or 550) for the launch.
What I want to know is how someone got 2375?
That is not possible with any permutation of rewards they have announced.

They did try and make sure that buying the costume bundles were cheaper than actually buying the same pieces one by one. But recreating the entire booster packs now will be more expensive than if you had bought them before, even with the costume bundle discount.
Actually, it will be more expensive in terms of points used. The VIP 400 and bulk discounts for large purchases of points can probably bring it back to about the same price overall. But still nice to have the option of just buying what you want, when you want. -

You guys do know that the new character creator has a place down on the bottom of the screen (every screen, including the first one) where you can type in and check for the name you want. If it is free, the name is reserved until you finish the creation, check another name, or back out of the creator completely.

I find the Market buttons here to be much less obtrusive than the ones over at the game about the short people and rings. There are 2 there on the main screen and you can't turn either one off, although to be fair, they are also not free-floating like the Market button is here.

Here is the question I ask: will I still get a Veteran Reward badge for this from pre-Freedom? Are they even still a thing anymore?
I believe that once you have filled Tier 8 you will stop getting badges, except for the annual ones for subscribing. Trying to come up with a new badge name every month would be a huge challenge. (Hmm, maybe I just found the real reason they are switching to the hybrid model.

You don't even have to actually poke at it. Leave your launcher on, under File>Settings>Auto Update have it set to automatically download and apply updates. It should detect the new version when the patch is finished and start downloading it.

I am not sure you are looking at the correct times. Or you are converting time zones incorrectly. It is starting at 4 AM Pacific and ending at 1 PM Pacific. The other NA times zones will be even later. So if you try for any names in the middle of the morning, you won't be getting much.

Except that the Incarnate system wasn't in Going Rogue. You will find nothing on the box or the inside saying that it is part of Going Rogue. You won't even find anything on the website saying it is part of Going Rogue. You will find they were trying to put a sneak peek at the Incarnate System in the expansion, but took it out at the request of the Beta testers. And when they said that people would not lose access to anything they paid for, they meant exactly that. The Incarnate system was a free issue, not part of any paid expansion. The only thing you paid to get it was your subscription fee, which at the time was necessary for the game. For obvious reasons, that doesn't count toward paying for it.
On a personal note, I bought GR for the zones, the costumes, the alignment system, and the new playing opportunities. I didn't even know about the Incarnate system at the time.
