Cool - nice piece, and text.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's all about the text -
About to let everyone into something that's buried inside my head, and has been so for many years until recently I decided to find the means to bring it to life. Bringing the beginning of it here because it's taking a character idea I developed inside City of Heroes, and am moving to his true existence. For those curious to see what happens when an idea has the chance and time to grow with time inside the "City of", and becoming something more, and develop into its own entity.
This is the beginning .
And until I am able to process the entire thing in this man's style. (or steal his talent), I will not be satisfied. -

Az-Bats is a short hand for Azreal/Batman, like down this page a bit.
And that's a very cool chibi!

I always preferred this version. -
Just to cover it:
Having a partiuclar design, label, character, property, restricted or copyrighted, "Inked" on your body is actually a legit process between Tattoo-ist and Receiver. In 90% of Parlors, you're actually paying the Tattoo-Artist for their time, not for the work; which makes the process legal for them. However after the fact if a company so inclines themselves to seek you out they do have the option of coming against you for the work you've imprinted on your skin (although in 99.9% of those cases, why would they? You're promoting them, Free).
So really if someone found a picture of any "City of" character an inclined themselves to tattoo it on their body, that's like a pocket of $10,000 in NCSoft's bank in free advertisement for their products, and similar for [Reiq] in this situation; as it displays his artwork and potentially feeds commissions.
Although I'd have to ask that guy why he wants to spend roughly $300-500 (given the shop) on a piece of someone else's devoted mental-property that they have no other forward knowledge of (assuming). -
Not entirely "City of" based, but for any of those who might be curious in seeing the past; I've uploaded some things* from an old sketch book that's viewable from my deviantart
* and by 'some' and 'things' I mean a lot. -

Are you using IE? Cause I was told by Elandria the original coder that IE is the spawn of Satan. She made it specifically for Firefox, so maybe that adds to it.
I will definitely try to get that to scroll...
[/ QUOTE ]
This is true. Firefox has internal coding that over views imported CSS and similar files and corrects as many "broken" sections as possible so that the code will properly display. This results in a lot of Web Coding that is bunk between IE and FireFox. This additionally (and amusingly) allows you to do some more unique and fun things that you otherwise couldn't in IE that you can in Firefox with broken CSS. -
Hmm, forgot to send Notes to the original requestors to make sure they caught their pieces...I'll just do this in the mean time.

Update: Britannia and Gila Girl Coming Soon™
Lesser Update: Seems the next one after them is a male, dunno if I remember how they look :P
Somewhat lesser Update: Some may notice a slightly evolving "style". Will be more evident in the next few.
P.S. Gila Girl may be slightly NSFW. Not My Fault.
Edit: Add Martial to that pending list of post.

Britannia
Martial Fury
And...Gila, I can only say (for the safety of young minds everywhere) to check out my deviant page; and see what luck you have in surfacing some Gila Work. -

Figured I'd post this separately since it's not entirely in conjunction with another thread. Everyone knows about a certain someone's "art obsession" and the dozens of folks who've been commissioned, given gift art, etc. And I had contemplated doing something just to say "I can draw TA too :P", and he even put up a Brief in my Project Thread and I got an idea in my head of what I'd do finally.
Now that its down on paper and I grabbed TA's permission to bring it here since there are a few things about it that I felt may warrant his approval first.
Now that I have that, take a look.
By the way, make sure you read the description. -
To everyone that sent me notes, I've been too my computer essentially in two days from other priorities, just wanted to give you all a quick heads up that I'll get the files e-mailed most likely after I get back from work tomorrow. Just so you know they're coming
-
Figured some of you might find some interest in this. Something that was started many months back and I got back to finishing today for a friend.

Memphis, I'm gonna need your e-mail too now :P
And this is why...
[/ QUOTE ]
Not to double post but I wanted clear seperation of the two, since I'm sure DarkLilac is going to want to know about this as well.
I told you, two surprises. I was in a fancy of a mood. -
-
Daemodand, Hericane, Gata, think you three can note me with your e-mail addresses and I can send off the files to you directly (if, assuming, this is alright with you?) You three are currently the only ones with an actual piece to send
In the meantime I'll be back a bit later with two more surprises. -

That's awesome stuff. I really like the insets. Nice touch.

[ QUOTE ]
dang, that's pretty freakin slick John, I like the custom costume pieces, the shin pieces and the belt. Very nice touch that you worked in game screenshots on the right.
[/ QUOTE ]
Had fun with the insets in the background; went and copied my PB over to Test, dressed him up Maximum style at the Tailor in Steel and started running across the hills "Dawn Striking" everything in sight and snapping the screen shot button madly to catch the scenes. -
I said I would deliver a completed rendition of the toon 'Maximum Omega' for its creator in response to a certain other thread that is fading into the mist.
As promised, here he Is.
Now the thing is, were you expecting it? Shrinkage of the original file to a compressed, easily loaded size has diminished some of the leather-work details in the pants and belt and there's an..er, tweak from the original. But hopefully the creator doesn't mind the difference
Omega, Note me with your e-mail and I'll get you a larger personal copy. -

OooooOOOoooOOOOOh!
Thanks for finally pointing it out, I never would have seen that on my own. That sort of stuff is very tricky with my vision. Cool little thing to put in there!

See, this is why I didn't tell anyone what it was, so much cooler when you realize its there -
[ QUOTE ]
I'm shocked no one has mentioned my easter egg in this one.

Didn't want to tell. -

yeah, you still need to give an art brief TA, might want to go to the top of the thread and read about the application process.
[/ QUOTE ]
Gata would be correct, there is an "Application Process" if you will. Not a bad way of describing it I guess either; and I have not "closed" taking requests either
