I was away the weekend. But I see SHamster's put something up there now.

I vote red, just for the alternating.
  2. The answer for me is "None".

However I would skip Temporal Selection.

    Reasons
Time Crawl has -Regen, plus good for improving your other debuffs on choice targets
Temporal Mending - Heal is good
    Time's Juncture - PBAoE to-hit is good
Temporal Selection - eh, your other AoE buffs are good already. I drop it on people when I remember sure, but I doubt they really notice. I'm happy with it with a single slot, so it's not a drain on my resources but I wouldn't go any further.
Distortion Field - Drop it, 4 x Procs. Nice.
Time Stop - Another Hold for stacking PLUS more -Regen
Farsight - PBAoE Def. Nuff said
Slowed Response - AoE -Res is fun. Good without any need for slotting.
Chrono Shift - obv not! Perma and loving it.

For instance, I read "C'ngImp" as "CNGLMP" until I read it thought back to what I'd slotted in those powers, realising it stands for "Crushing Impact."
What I do for Mids builds is I export them with Long Forum Export with the no Codes option.
Then I paste it into Word, drop the font to point 8/9ish, make the page two columns and edit out some of the chaff. That gives you a whole build on one page with long form descriptions which I use as a printed checklist while levelling and building.
  4. I'm also good either way. Makes no difference to me if we start this coming week or the next.
  5. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Having taken a look at my build I can swap Shiver for Frostbite and it's going to be better on the whole I think.

Wouldn't have taken another look without your comments.
  6. Although Shaitanic Hamster is a tempting name.
  7. Mine are already named and sat in the tutorial ready to pick a side.
  8. Hit 50 on my Ice/Time controller and have charged through loads of trials to get my level shifts, started slotting lots of Incarnate abilities and I just realised Interface only adds onto damaging abilities...

Am I right that out of all my powers only these will gain the proc?

    Block of Ice
    Jack Frost
    Ice Storm
    Judgement?
    Lore pet?

    And these won't

Arctic Air (w 3 Damage Procs)
    Time's Juncture (w 1 Damage Proc)
Distortion Field (w 4 Damage Procs)

And everything else doesn't even think about doing damage, like Time Stop or Shiver so I guess they're out too.

I suppose if I had the Immob powers they would work relatively well with Interface, but the lack of synergy with Ice Slick means I've never wanted them before now.
  9. Here, have a choice:

    Redside I'll play a Shield/Dark Tanker
Blueside I'll play an Elec/Elec Tanker

    Probably.
  10. Actually, one reason I prefer Blueside a lot over Redside.
Atlas/Portal Jockey can usually be picked without many issues, but I don't think I've ever got Marshal/Born in Battle.

    CoH2 already

    If we can't port our toons i don't want a CoH2.
    This.

And, really, the improvements they keep making to CoH make even the concept of CoH2 redundant IMO. If someone's that bothered about the change of name ... well, it's called City of Heroes Freedom now. There are you, they already did you a '2'.
  12. Sure, they grow up from 1 to 50.

  14. Sounds good to me. I still need some AVs for Portal Jockey, plus lots of shards of course.
  15. I'm with Voo on First Ward. It was ok when I ran it solo, but it just seemed like 3 weeks of headache for Isos.

Redside ... after last time, I would have been less than keen but having run through most of it solo since then it was the character, not the content, that was causing my problems.
So I'm up for more as soon as we declare this run complete. (Elec/Elec tank is current thinking, although I need to poke Mids to confirm that.)

This. I want to hit 50 too!
  17. Did everyone* hit 50 after I left last night?
  18. I've seen a few broadcasts on Help for Redside DFB, watch that channel if you're not on there already. Far less than the ones for Blueside, of course.
  19. Ah, so the brute force method is why people complain about the civilians. Having always done it via the MP method[TM], the civilians never appeared to be anything more than a deterrent to using AoEs.
  20. With the non-Trial Incarnate content coming in I22, just wondered if we might continue into that with Isos. Probably not this run, as we should be done before I22 comes - just pondering for the future.

  22. Will do my best to prep costume/shivan and make it on Madame Glacia.
