Honestly any MM set can do without stamina, but I would honestly still suggest it.

Traps "can" be more end heavy depending on your play style and how you set your difficulty bar.

I play a bots/traps on "normally" +1/+8 and I tend to put down traps constantly and my end can go down quite dramatically. One example is if I am trying to set down a mine and I keep getting hit. That drains your end even if you don't set it down and get interrupted. So basically if you have a laid back play style then yes you can do without stamina, but like I said I would still always prefer to have it.

Plus once you get higher level you will have more things that drain your end like epic powers.

It really depends on your secondary to say what you should do exactly since you can do different things depending on that. I play thugs/dark and I do a few things for example which I will list below.

One of the first things I do which might not be the best for every secondary is to just run right in the middle of the group so that all your thugs are right with you and right next to all the Mobs. Then you don't really need to worry about anyone running off. This only works well I think since my heal is AoE, but doing something like this with other secondaries could still help.

It also seems that after the arsonist has been attacking for a bit he just goes into melee no matter what so I also have my petcom macro setup on num 0 to follow me on defensive which seems to reset them and they come back to me and then I tell them to attack again. I press this when the arsonist is still right next to me to reset his actions and it does really seem to work.

The arsonist is a pain though honestly and only constant attention will keep him alive, but the higher level you get it does get much better. He will still die no doubt about it, but he does die a lot less the higher level you get.

Also sending in your brute first helps also when you get him.

You can also make a macro to call back only your T1 minions instead of all your minions, but I personally don't like to do that. It might work better though if you don't have an AoE heal.

The best thing to do though is just come to terms with the fact the Arsonist is going to die and all you can do is help him die less "sometimes" and hopefully AFTER he has set down his fire patch at least.

My new demon summoner is going to be so much more fun now to level! I just thought about that woot!

Do any of the demon pets do AoE or do they all only do ST? That might help me decide on my secondary also.

I was thinking about going /poison since I never have before and the T3 demon is melee I believe so it seems good to me. Anyway, I was looking on mids at the /poison powers and I see they take accuracy. Is accuracy only needed in pvp or do you need to slot for accuracy in pve also? Is there a way to have mids tell me this?

With so many people having problems downloading, myself included, trying to DL the test server and constantly getting stuck for 20 hours on a fixing pigg file. It would be nice to be able to DL everything via torrents. It is always nice to have at least two ways to download files imo.

Well, I disconnected my router and disabled the extra windows firewall and did a direct connection. It still does the same thing, so it can't be a router/firewall problem.

It also downloaded normal patches from live in seconds, so it must be imo server side and/or test server problems and not us the users. So I doubt there will be anything we can do until they do/fix something.

Can anyone read french or dutch or whatever? One of the other boards? They always seem to have fixes posted on their boards. It would be cool if anyone could read them and see if they have any fixes?

It is so funny and nice imo to see people excited about taking the MM attacks for once. I felt the same way when I saw them. They look awesome in look and in what they actually do -res+KD is pretty awesome.

I was thinking either dark or storm, but I will have to test and see how DS plays. I wish you could make all the powers in storm black, but you can't. Then again your pets have cold attacks so if the DS is also using cold attacks then I suppose it would make sense either way. If the demons have good fire resist then thermal will become more attractive to cap that and have fun beating the crap out of longbow. I have never played thermal, so it might be about time to try it with demons.

I am just wondering what people are testing atm. I am installing test right now so I have not even tried anything yet. What have you guys tested so far with demon secondaries?

I only have a few suggestions from my experience. The first thing I have to say is I would listen to Local_Man because he has helped me on all my controllers big time.

Secondly I would suggest you think about taking Ice mastery. It offers Hibernate which has helped me to an amazing degree. I group and solo, but I do solo more so I also took aid self, which you might not want to do, but aid self even on teams is a huge help imo. You have so much AE damage already that fireball is not really needed as much + with ice mastery you can get a nice ST which I find very helpful and you get a great AE in Ice storm. I saw no need personally to take frozen armor, since I have aid other and hibernate and I have not missed it at all. Also, I like having an AH -res in freezing rain and one in tornado.


This is just my opinion also, but anyone who says the groups loathe hurricane must just be using it incorrectly. I have been in groups were people are throwing tornado and hurricane all over with mobs flying and yes it really was annoying and gives stormies a bad name, but if you use it correctly it can be a huge help. In groups I only use hurricane at a safe distance from the team to block a doorway or if wandering mobs are coming my way. I almost never use tornado in groups unless the group has decided chaos is fine and do whatever you want and we are just steamrolling everything. I do use it on AVs since I have another AH -resist it it. I do use gale, but only towards a wall or at the very start of the fight to get them all lines up for my thorns.

That is a nice idea, and I would like to be able to do that also. I still want to be able to just fight whatever at level 50 though be it skulls, hellions etc and have them be level 50 or whatever I set the slider on.

Wow, I must have posted in the wrong section? I could have sworn this was the suggestions forums? I don't remember asking for people to tell me that my idea is never going to happen or that certain Mobs only go to certain levels now. Well NO SH*T. This is a SUGGESTION for CHANGE. I would LIKE to be able to get level 50 paper missions in ANY zone. I KNOW some zones don't have paper missions that is why I specifically said Atlas Park and Croatoa. Wow, it amazes me that people have no life besides coming and shooting down another persons ideas with their close minded attitudes.

OK, well, this basically comes from my Level 50s. I am just tired/bored of doing the same old paper missions in PI and GV. I want to be able to go to any zone I want and get paper missions at L50. Oh well I would like to fight some Hellions! OK I will go to Atlas Park and get a L50 paper mission and kill some Hellions. Oh, I want to fight some red caps, I will just go to Croatoa and get a paper mission. It is annoying we basically have one zone at level 50 to get paper missions and it just makes me want to quit out of boredom really.

I know Heroes can get normal missions in the shadow shard and both can get normal missions in RWZ, but sometimes you just want a paper mission for a certain type of group that you feel like smashing.

Yes, I know I could exempt/group and that helps sometimes, but that is easier said than done a lot of the time. You can get a group in a few minutes or wait for hours with nothing.

(Also, please don't mention AE as a solution for this. I think AE is horrible and despise doing AE missions)

OK I am using Windows 7 pro. I use a 32inch LCD HD tv and I play in 1920x1058 windowed mode. The problem I am having is not severe, but can be very annoying. I have my hot bars set up and for the top row I have to press left control+1 or 2 etc and sometimes when I press (I think it is control +1 or control+2) my windowed screen halves in size and I have to click on it to maximize it again from half size. Is there a way to stop it from doing this? Is control +1 or control +2 some windows 7 command that I can change or something? It does not happen every time, but having your screen half in size during a battle can be death and it is very annoying. TYVM for any help!

I am wondering what the macro is to give my assault bot a damage insp? I was also wondering if there is a macro to give my lowest health bot a green? Anyone have any ideas on this? Even if I had to click on the actual bot it would be faster than clicking the bot and then dragging the insp. TYVM!

I actually forgot I had bosses turned on, so I turned it off and I am now going +1/+8 Rikti map over and over. It is very easy and quite fun. The bosses while still fairly easy do take longer to kill and slowed me down, so that is why I went to -1 in the first place. I just needed to get that respec and now I did and it feels like I am playing a new toon kinda lol. Bots/Traps is a blast again. The Web Envelope and Mace Beam Volley are excellent! I also feel like I am doing something with my mace lol, plus I got to customize it whooooo!
