I was making a new toon and I already have a lot of costumes saved. This one for example is "huge" with tai gloves and it is telling me it failed to load even though I have it saved with those gloves. I went back and searched and they are not even there now. I pick "male" and they are there. I don't get it honestly, but it is happening either way.

I don't see why people seem to think demons will get nerfed. I can do just as much with my bots/traps or thugs/dark that I can do with my demons/traps. My bots traps heals itself better and the minions die less also. With my thugs all I need to really worry about is my arsonist, and with demons I have to pretty much worry about all of them except the prince. I have all 4 of the pet res/def procs and the FFG and they still seem to take more damage than I would think they should. I don't know.
If anything I would say that thugs still do more damage and it is way easier to set mobs up for the arsonist aoe. The demons always seem to use their aoe on the least amount of mobs possible lol and the AI on them seems horrible at times. In saying all this though demons so far have still been my favorite and I have played all primaries to 50 now except mercs. -
Hello, I am a DA Brute and since there are so few DA brutes it seems I wanted to ask here. I put the chance for Immobile proc in my Oppressive Gloom and I was wondering if it even works? Is there a way to tell in the combat log? I tried adding a few things, but I never saw it say your OG caused immobile or anything like that? I also heard there is no graphic for it which is very lame. Is it even worth putting in OG? I figured it would help with the wandering, but who knows if it even works?

I finally made a DM/DA Brute and I am L34(Man I can't wait for L35) and it is the most fun I have ever had on ANY brute! I made this build and I am wondering what people think about it and what feedback they can offer! ... Well, first of all I love DS, I think overall it is my favorite set now. My DS/Traps is 34.
Anyway, I have noticed some problems that seem much worse on demons than other sets. The pathing in particular seems way worse to me than any other set I have played. I think it might have to do with the demons large size and sometimes hitting the ceiling(possibly going though the ceiling) When I call them back to me instead of always coming strait back in a line which would be very fast and easy, they will pick the longest possible route and sometimes go through a door and around and aggro mobs. I have seen them run away from a mob, right into another group of mobs just to shoot fire blast from a distance also, so that can be annoying.
Sometimes if I call them back, the prince for example will continue to go strait and just keep going (normally aggroing groups of mobs) until he finally decides to turn around and come back.
What really made me notice was this "Get Information" the MS arc. This is the worst map I have been on in terms of them acting this way. For example, I am standing right around the corner from the entrance and I tell them to attack, then I call them back. Instead of coming strait back to me numerous pets decide to jump up on the ledge on the way back, aggro mobs, jump off the ledge(or die) and come back to me. It really seems messed up and I hope it is looked at at least. This is my experience with it anyway. -
I would think it would be changed in the future. I mean it is a very true. The sleep he has is useless (unless maybe you do missions with only your prince lol)
I think a 5 limit ice patch would be excellent ... -
Hello, I have some questions and what to see what people think.
I have the demon prince slotted right now with (3) damage/accuracy from different sets and (1) damage/accuracy/endurance and I am fine with that, but I was wondering what people think about slotting him with the chance for smashing proc from his slow power. It is always on right? Once upgraded and it is aoe? So it seems like it would have the possibility of doing a lot of damage? Has anyone done this? I am also thinking about the chance for recharge slow also, they both seem like they could be nice things to slot in him.
(I also plan to slot chance for build up at L50 at level 50 obviously) -
Taking Assault and Tactics imo is very important. I think the numbers are better to take Assault vs "for example" Forge from /thermal. The buff from Assault buffs ALL pets while it is active and not just one or two pets. Tactics is also very important to help keep your pets hitting at all times, especially in groups where everyone wants to go against reds and purples.
I think taking maneuvers might be alright some some builds, but I don't think it is normally worth it. The vengeance power is a good power when people die, but I never take it. -
Dark is a great secondary and quite easy to work with, but traps can do things in pve that dark never could imo. I love dark personally, but traps is by far better IMO. I think it just takes more thought and people don't like to think, they like to hit a button and win. Oh wait, I can do that with poison trap ... OK carry on ...
(IF you ONLY want to pick dark or poison though, then I would go with storm) -
I love Gale and most people who know when to use it love it also. If O2 boost was the first power and I had to take it then I would hate being /storm. I would much rather take aid other/aid self for most situations. Once O2 boost is five slotted with a nice set then it becomes fairly decent. It is a great buff, esp the end drain prot it gives at higher levels. I honestly think that they should just let you pick gale OR O2 boost on creation. I don't see why it would even matter honestly. I don't think people should be forced into taking a power.

Hello, my FFG color atm is the bright white and although it seems fine to me? I am on a 32" HD LCD TV and I can see fine, I have gotten some people tell me they can't see very well and the bright white shields are not the best choice and everyone hates them bla bla lol. Anyway, I am wondering which color would be the best for this?

My thoughts were you gained the 30% eventually as you leveled, I don't think for instance a Level 1 defender gets the full buff. I think it scales with your level until eventually solo you have 30% buff.

Also Repulsion Bomb isn't a horrible power and something to look at. I personally never take personal force field on my MM's...but that's a personal preference.
I played a /FF Mastermind for a group only toon and man I Looove personal force field. I took medical up to resuscitate and recall friend. I saved people loads of trouble all the time, by not dying and recalling the team to save spots and rezing them or letting them insp rez. It is also good to run through TF and then recall team to the place you need to be. I think PFF is VERY nice imo. -
Well, Lash is a 40% chance of KD, and 10.66 end with no end red on an 8sec CD and crack whip is 25% chance of KD for 17.94 end with no end rec on a 15sec CD. I would rather concentrate on one harder target for less CD and less end than a "chance" for more targets with a much smaller chance to KD. Also, I am very good with cones because of playing dark melee, I actually am fond of most cones, I just don't want to have to take the extra time on a mastermind for a power like this. I will probably have enough to worry about as it is lol. Most people suck with small cones also.

I was VERY disappointed with my L28 Demons/Traps. I have a L50 bots/traps and I maybe was expecting to much, but I got owned on SNAKES at +0/+3. I think this big melee set needs something else, like thermal or dark. I also have a L32 DS/Thermal, but god I wanted to die with all the buffing. To the OP, I really do not see the point of even trying for the cap when you are /thermal? You buff your pets and heal your pets and nothing but the first heal works on you anyway. I would just let them be the tanks on the /thermal. If you want to be a tankermind I would do the /FF.

Well, I would do something like this. I did not complete it and it still has 15 slots left to slot in places. It is just an example of something I would build with DS/Storms. The thing with /storm is it is VERY end heavy and you need a nice bit of end recovery from my experience. I also rarely take a travel power now, I am more than fine with hurdle and ninja run. I have taken SS in the past and was always annoyed by the horrible jump even with hurdle, but I am very happy with the speed and jump from ninja run+hurdle. A few things with this build. If I found I was taking a lot of damage all the time I would take out O2 boost and fit in aid other/aid self. I might also change slotting in lash depending on how it performed, but I definitely love the KD proc in it. I would also experiment and see if I would slot the Ember demon with 2 heal Ios or two resist Ios, but I would most likely add two more slots to them. There is also a chance I might take soul tentacles for the AoE Immobile, so I could throw in tornado without them being flung all over also. I will just tell you though in 99% of groups DO NOT use Tornado. I use Hurricane all the time, but normally I am in the back at a distance and I make sure the squishies know I am a safe haven for them to run if they need protection from mobs.

What is the point of your build? What are you trying for? You should always have a goal you are trying to get at imo. It is hard to tell with this build, I will guess some sort of defense build with all the 6 slotted stuff with defense and maybe you want to invis your pets so they get less aggro and it goes to you? I honestly do not know where to start with this build, it confuses me just to look at it honestly lol. You are not even close to any def/res caps so I don't see the point of that build personally if that what you are trying for?
This is just all IMO and you pay for your account so play however you want!
I would slot upgrades with end red and not recharge personally.
You have no way to even heal your pets, yes I know ember has a heal, but from my experience he does not use it all that much and who will heal the ember?
You can't heal yourself in anyway and if you are wanting all the aggro that does not seem good?
I would drop invis other and/or stealth and grab O2 boost or get aid other/aid self
I would slot ALL of the pet procs (the def/res ones I mean) in hell on earth or tornado or a mix of both
Once again you have no heal for your pets, I would drop recall friend and get O2 Boost or do something about the lack of healing like I said above
I think most of your pets are just way over slotted and the demon price slotting seems strange also, I see what you are going for with the longer holds, but I would still go for some damage in his attacks
Like I was saying, I think you are going for a defense type build (tankermind or something?) but you dont have any def/res caps unless I am missing something? so I do not see the point? I guess any res/def is better than none + you have the neg hit from hurricane, so maybe that was your thinking? Since you said nothing to imply anything all I could do it makes my own assumptions. -
Since Crack Whip is a cone and not a wide AoE like foot stomp, I personally would not slot that proc in it. I personally am not even taking it. I will just stick with lash.
As far as Demons go, I have a L32 DS/Thermal and besides the fact it was far to much buffing lol, they are nowhere near the aoe carnage that my bots/traps is and seem far less survivable. I love demons because well they are demons, but I think other sets like thugs and bots (especially in AoE) will outperform them. They are obviously better than Mercs, but what isn't. They have the potential to do a lot of damage, but your minions are basically all arsonist and all die very quickly imo. The only one who lives decently is the demon prince. I think demons are basically duel pistols, they look awesome, but don't perform at the god like level everyone thought or still thinks possibly. -
You can place the arch heel chance for -res in it though which is excellent!

I think caltops are always worth the slot. When the enemies are running scared(slowly) they are not attacking you. I looove the KD proc in my caltrops. I honestly tried all the procs in caltrops and was not that impressed. I like it more than enough with the KD proc and slow.

Well, I must say, I am highly disappointed with Demons/Traps so far at level 28. I have a L50 bots/traps so I have much experience with traps, so I am hoping it is because traps is not really enhanced yet like it should be. I go into +0/+3 on my Demons/Thermal and throw down caltops, poison trap, acid mortar and my demons just get basically annihilated. This is against snakes which is one of the easiest things to go against imo.
I think I will try /storm now and see how they do at L26ish ... I have a L32 DS/Thermal, but it is sooo annoying to buff so often lol.
How have your experiences been with traps and other sets? PLEASE only comment if you have gotten to level 26 or higher please. -

My only (very minor) criticism is the choice to delay getting hasten. I'd consider swapping the med pool out and getting hasten earlier. I don't think Aid Self and Aid Other will add as much to your gaming experience and hasten will. Having key traps powers recharge faster is never a bad thing. -

YES slotting end reduction in the summons helps the pets use less end
I think it depends on the secondary, I would slot for heal personally being storm and resist if I were thermal.
I would slot Hell on earth with 3 recharge and leave it alone on a storm and then slot tornado with all 4 pet procs or you could slot all 4 pets procs in Hell on Earth and then slot Tornado however you choose.
This is just a personal preference, but I would drop O2 Boost and pick up aid other and aid self on /storm. -
Well, first I just want to say I know that Masterminds in general can pretty much easily solo +0/+1 +8 very easily, but I want to find out who can do it faster and easier I suppose.
For example, my thugs/dark can still get owned by +3-4 +8 Longbow, but my Bots/Traps has a ton less trouble (I suppose all because of Poison Trap?)
Since Demons have been out a few days now, what is the take from people on soloing? I just made a new DS/Traps to test since I know how well my Bots/Traps can solo. Is it still safe to assume that /traps would be the best or one of the best for solo?
I just can't imagine that thermal as thematic as it might be would be as good solo versus /traps or /dark (the mez prot in /traps is also incredible imo)
I would like the opinions of others though, thank you.
