  1. Kinda wish Sonic would be added to concepts. I could totally see Sonic Armor and Melee/weapons.
  2. I went KM/EA for a stalker and I need to say EA really isn't that bad at all. There are changes coming for EA with Issue 21 too, so we will see how that goes.

  8. Heck no, O2 Boost is still better than a buffed Alkaloid.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the Envenom and Weaken changes make them similar to how Acid Arrow works, even in animation.

    Pretty obvious that /sonic MMs are going to be hurting without the Medicine pool IMO.

    Would be glorious to have disruption on a brute thug or even on ninjas, although they would benefit more from ff.

    Ah, but I was answering as a whole, to give them a bunch of AOEs is not the best idea - and lightning rod is a very safe power, throwing mobs down upon strike.
  11. Got this straight from Synapse via PM:

    -Alkaloid: I've increased the potency of this power by a fair amount.
    -Envenom & Weaken: I've added a small splash around this power. The initial target receives the full effect of the debuff while nearby targets received half of the effect.
    -Poison Trap: This power now has an initial hold, has a recovery debuff and deals minor toxic damage.
  12. Well, the main problem with that idea is you want to fundamentally change a stalker's role. Lots of people play Stalkers like a Scrapper but to want to give them more AOEs might not be the best idea considering how much squishier they are in comparison.

    Apparently my hard work on revamping Poison has not gone unnoticed - they are making changes.

    Also, I have to admit Energy Aura for stalkers seems to be pretty decent. It's prone to cascade failure like most defense sets but I don't get all the hate at the moment.

  15. Please oh please oh please someone point Synapse and Black Scorpion to the Official Poison Revamp Thread. The set needs additional changes than what is listed and you might as well get that in there before more archetypes are saddled with the problems!

    Stalkers have been buffed, and buffed, and buffed, and buffed, etc...

    Having loads of fun with a KM/EA stalker at the moment. EA is not as bad as I thought it would be either - we'll see what happens with the new changes coming to it that was just announced.

    I was silly and didn't check the thread until now - just a minute ago I addressed this thread with Synapse, stating I've PMed Black Scorpion a couple of times with no response.

    This is great news and I hope... HOPE that they address the issues at least in part. Guess we just need to wait until beta invites hit.

    IF YOU GET INTO THE BETA please, please take some time to review what they have done and make it a point to address issues within the official thread they usually make. Now is the time to get this garbage set taken care of once and for all!!!

  20. Yeah but then that would affect other sets too - might as well get rid of hide for stalkers, power siphon for km, etc. It's unfortunate but honestly I don't see them altering it because it works good enough for balance.

    Well, I was referencing the list as a set of powers that the majority love the most in those sets, as opposed to the reason most of us are discussing, where we protect the few that enjoy poor powers.

    Dark Miasma? That'll never get proliferated with all that control. *REMOVE* either the ST hold or the cone Fear. Keep the cone Fear's -ToHit, just take away all that fear. And not sure why anyone would think an auto-hit AoE stun + PBAoE rez could fly on a Controller. Get *RID* of it and either turn it into a ST stun + PBAoE rez, or just a ST rez.
