  1. Yes, a 63+ month vet always does that Zombie_Man, especially while playing a stalker.
  2. Sure thing Yanyan!

Oh, and I did it during battle since I just bubbled everyone and we were mowing down groups like mad.

I also agree with Enigma, I use the fog of war to remind me where to go next, but, I wanted to try it out. I will use it for outside zones all the time though.
  3. Outdoors too, and I think only for me, but I never asked anyone on the team.

So yeah, you can reveal entire zones.
  4. In case anyone wanted to see the animation and effect of the 63rd month vet power:

    The Reveal Power

Yes, it does entire zones also.
  5. In case anyone was curious and wanted to see the 63rd month power bonus in action:

  6. I am appreciative of this feature, but the proliferation is better.

I am NOT being a party pooper here, but I just wanted to warn a few, that this feature can get old real quick - having it in that other game's beta where you can change your colors on the fly, even between attacks at any time, loses it's charm after the first few hours.

Ice in particular is pretty tough to recolor - it just doesn't feel right - it's like you are throwing purple/red/green garbage at an enemy, and even if it's garbage that you want to be throwing, it doesn't act like garbage, it acts like ice.

Some powers are AWESOME recolored, like electricity. Some are just 'whatever,' such as minimal streaks that you can color while running super speed, etc.

Truly, I am not trying to make others get angry, I really don't want you to get that impression, but take it from someone who knows what it's going to be like for months on end, because of actual experience.
  7. Oh I apologize, that is my mistake, I forgot that Entangling Arrow comes first.
    *oops
  8. OSA does knockdown and slow at all times, lit or not. EDIT
  9. Right, what person in their right mind would ever get a recovery power at level 2... let's just ignore Accelerate Metabolism, right?
  10. I just want the dang thing to always light when hit with the appropriate damage type. Is it supposed to have a 'chance to' light?
  11. All of you dreaming of making traps/sonic, thinking about using siren's song to drop trip mines and time bombs, need to realize that the acid mortar is one of the best powers in the whole set which will DOT them all awake instantly.

Oh, and count me in for voting on a traps buff, all versions. Porting direct numbers would be a horrible idea, and with poison gas trap being extremely limited in use (just stop the procs, and give us back the rest of it how it was!) I worry that this set will be ignored more than sonic resonance.

I still believe in making Triage Beacon and Spirit Tree (which are identical outside of graphics) also grant +recovery, as they are both still thematic with that buff and offers more slotting options on this slow recharging power.

    Gauntlet 2.0

This is not a superhero simulator, it is an MMO.

Stop comparing this game to comic behavior.

    Gauntlet 2.0

Is this to make changes to a superhero MMO or is this about changes to an unnamed superhero simulator?

Butane seems to want a simulator instead of a reason to create desire for team gameplay.
  14. Web Envelope is helpful for a fulcrum shifted rain of fire.

    Gauntlet 2.0

I don't think Tanks need much of anything outside of proliferation, and an end cost rebalancing of dark armor.

What if you used this idea on TAUNT instead of Gauntlet, thus making the power more desirable and would also give incentive to perform better on teams on top of it?

Actually, going with that idea, why not instead make it a damage nerf to that single target, as they are feeling threatened with the taunt (not gauntlet.)
  16. Just wanted to jump in here - Trick Arrow is very, very, very fun. Expect a tight build though, because the only one I would skip is flash arrow, and you will be required to take it as a corruptor.

It's slightly similar to traps, only better, so expect to throw lots and lots of recharges in it and get hasten fully slotted. Trick Arrow can keep up with the rest of the debuff sets and should be more popular than it is.

I think the main reason it isn't as popular as others is that at first it got a bad rep from being weak. Since then it has been buffed nicely.

Gotta stick with it though - it's a late blooming set.
  17. The Fog of War is actually useful to me, I won't ever hit a button to make me have no idea where I need to go next on a map.

...and I am at 60+months already
  18. I think they might be too busy with proliferation too even look at this thread.
  19. Really? I've heard that topped-out archery with huge recharge is ridiculous at clearing spawns.
  20. Number 3 is the only one I disagree with. The rest sounds good, particularly the cone/targeted aoe idea of siphon. This is a set that can't really deal with the end cost of leadership IMO since distortion and the big bubble suck so much end, not to mention those who take the end sucking repel ability which has limited use.

Frankly, I think if you take super jump or even super strength without invulnerability, you should kill yourself doing just about anything.

    HAHA

And then there are those in game playing wiht it and noticing that the damage did not increase.

They call those people 'blind.' They read braille and have a unique perspective on life.
