Usually if I first do it on a fresh 'attempt' it says 'fixing cg.dll' at first, then the executable, then it checksumms, downloading file manifest, then starts fixing the exe again, and cycles this over and over.

I sent in a ticket but lord knows how long that will take. There is a thread in the chatter and discussion section for Issue 17 for the same thing.

It still does it on any PC in the house, yet I can play live fine. I used to be able to go on the test server.

Will these be added to the Badge Hunter website?

I could see them merging a few easily, but not down to one, no way in hell. I would be all for a few of them.

Let me explain quickly.

I now have a part time job at WeGame.com and I have been chosen to add all content to City of Heroes for the database. I am maybe halfway done with adding the missions from the game and let me tell you: this is NO small task.

Going over them as I go, I have to agree. I don't see them doing this though, at least not all at once. We are talking about a fairly large chunk of content here. Considering the 'bang for your buck' argument and that a fairly large majority of their business is towards already-active subscribers, I think they are aware most skip the content that you are talking about.

Just in case it hasn't, I wanted to ask our experts if they can explain what might be going on here. I am not trying to offend any forum nazis who might be itching to yell at me for cross-posting and what not, and no, I have not received an invitation to any closed beta tests for Demon Summoning, Issue 17, or Going Rogue. I am just looking for some kind-hearted expert to help answer what is going on in the link and how to resolve it.

On the weekend I went on my wife's old PC that already has the test client installed. IT'S DOING THE SAME THING. It's an XP 32 bit box.

Is there something funny going on with the test server? Are we not supposed to be able to patch it or something?!

Ya that's not it, it's affecting completely different Win 7 64 machines in our house.

I have a WM/Shield brute and even at level 40 I am panting for end quite a bit. Count your blessings with QR/Stamina.

Speaking of AR, I take full responsibility for the major overhaul the set got several months ago. I admit to being excited and talking a lot in the Corruptor forum about how insane it was to have an AR/Kin with Web Envelope and fulcrum shifting Ignite doing over 500+ damage every 3 seconds. :P You can blame me for that. I'm not saying I disagree with the changes, but I kinda wish they widened the FA cone.

This is a serious issue - I assume this doesn't allow the reinstallation of the game at all now for people!
