Oh-ho, wait until you get Crowd Control. That power is sweet. I have a Mace/Shield in the low 40s and he's a beast. Runs into end problems now and then though.

I love the concept. I might go with a taser gun instead of the cryo freeze ray for a single target hold as it might fit the rest of the set better.
I would like to hear more regarding the tier 9 power - what about a modified Gun Drone that fires a taser, heavy burst, and single target flash bangs? -

/agree to just about any changes to this awful power. Tier 9 power should not be pure garbage like this when teams roll over much of the content at that level.

If I make a kin, I expect to keep everyone SBed at all times unless they ask me not to.

I also suggest going the scrapper route - maybe willpower as the secondary or regen.
Biggest thing I learned 6 years ago is that the Fitness power pool is pretty much mandatory for most toons - 3 slots in stamina is almost a must for most characters. -
I think end recovery abilities should exist in more sets, in particular I've wanted Spirit Tree/Triage Beacon to give it along with the regen buff for several reasons, not the least of which would be for slotting options. Something real low in number but still noticeable, since they are immobile and have long recharges, plus they stay thematic.

Well I didn't mention Tankers, but you are correct there. I was just speaking in general.

I consider it like I do for the one in Thugs. It adds tankability by thowing out more meat shields. I toss 3 rech in it and I'm done.

My apologies for not reading the whole thread, but one of my problems with dark is that it has a power that automatically removes health from you encouraging the spamming of a heal that takes a third of your endurance bar to use, barring enhancements.

Yeah, it could be tweaked even for masterminds at that rate.

I'm trying to use the set on masterminds but it isn't easy - the end costs are huge for the first 3 powers, being single target and all. Granted, I'm only level 10...

Hmm.... PBAOE? Targeted AOE? Can't imagine it would be too hard. The end costs would have to be adjusted as always for the set.

I am hoping to see this sent to corruptors someday. I could see them sending /ff but only mms have it so far, and 3 ATs have /ff already.

Traps' tier 9 power is probably the most useless tier 9 in the entire game. The 8 seconds of interruptable time to drop combined with the 15 seconds waiting around for every mob to die while the team is already in the 30s is a VERY outdated concept.
Time Bomb should be exempt from the cottage rule but if it needs to stay then cut those numbers in half at least. I would prefer Gun Drone over it.
