Having played both sets to the 20s with various secondaries (as well as Stalker versions) I'd take Katana over MA any day. Having just picked up Soaring Dragon, I giggled for a good 30 minutes during the Moonfire TF - it's just so cool!

Grav something... Singularity had got to be the best Controller pet (meaning, it has the most control) which makes up for Gravs own short-comings in the control department.

Immmobilize (ST and AoE), hold (ST and AoE), knockback (ST), knockup (ST), teleport (AoE), stun (AoE), intangibility (AoE) and slow (ST and AoE)

4 AoE powers, 1 of which is very situational, 2 of which are standard and 1 of which is great / horrid depending on who you ask (Wormhole).

4 ST powers, 2 are standard, 1 is the same as levitate (but apparently less damage) and of course the 2-sided coin that is Propel - great damage, long activation.

Your immobs and holds will cause slow which is nice and sllows for more procs from IOs. Your per will spam ST hold, immob and knockup, 2 of which also slow.

I have a Grav/Kin, Grav/FF and Grav/Rad, as well as a Grav/Energy Dom. I really do love this set.

I hear Grav/Storm is really fun to play and you can't go wrong with Sonic Resonance these days either.

I suppose if you really want something different, go for:

Earth/Sonic
Earth/TA
Earth/Storm
Ice/Sonic
Ice/TA
Ice/Storm

I don't recall ever seeing those on my travels. Still, my vote goes to Grav/something

The Build Up power for Psionic Blades will probably be something like Soul Drain from Dark Melee. At least that's what I would like to see in it.

I know some of those would work really well, others I'm not too sure about. They all sound good though.

Definitely slot it with 3 Recharge. Add End Mods to taste, but you don't really need any - save your slots. If you find you don't need them elsewhere, throw them in
