I've been playing around with Mids' for the first time lately. I went to use the in game helper, and the helper window doesn't show above CoH (like I assume it's supposed to). I use to keep the iTunes mini-player (set to "Always on Top", or something similar) open while playing, but this stopped working a while ago, too. I run CoH in full screen. Is there a setting I can change to fix this, or does it require Windowed mode to work? Which will be fine for the respec helper/shopping list, but not so much for iTunes)

There's a pair of missions blueside - a low level one where you have to stop the Skulls from blowing up a building, and a high level one where you have to stop Malta from interfering with a young hero who's stopping the Skulls from blowing up a building. I think the second encounter with this letter will be while working from "the other end" of the mission; probably you're the one that makes the Well vanish, thus forcing yourself onto the "slow and steady" incarnate route. -
I have to be honest - I was disappointed I couldn't change all of the other Rad attacks into eye beams.

FWIW, after i19 releases I expect more people to be running "kill all" TFs for the shards. This will also mean more purple drops being generated, both for you (if you're on the TFs) and among the population in general, making more available on the market.

You could build off the "Fortress" part of the name and go with a Tanker. Inv or WP for the primary, not sure for a secondary; and Flight of course, as soon as you can.

Maintenance is done by the overnight crew in Ops. No one there is authorized (or probably even has the ability) to make public announcements. Any announcements will come from a Dev or, more properly, a member of the OCR/mod team. Since they all work something resembling normal office hours, that means a *minimum* of 8am Pac/11am Eastern before anything will get posted. Since software companies (especially game companies) frequently run on something a little looser than "9-5", it's not unlikely that there will be no one available to make an announcement until 10Pac/1East. -

Taking a different tack on the problem, I wonder what you could cobble together with a pseudopet and the MM bodyguard code. Pets in bodyguard (that aren't already doing something) will immediately attack anything that attacks the player, which is the essence of what's trying to be achieved here.

Bit of a noob question but I just started playing this game and im loving it but having some troubles. As a Villian it seems you can move arount from 1-10 all in more or less the same zone. However im trying to play a hero and after lvl 5 it sends me to the hollows which seems cool enough. However, trying to get there and im seeing level 15s and im getting smoked. Did I miss something along the way? Like a easier way to move between the zones without getting ganked?

Go back and look through the earliest powersets. Notice how, overall, there isn't much diversity in the animations. Most blast attacks, for example, share the same handful of animations. And compared to the newer sets, those animations are very simplistic and kinda dull. Instead of just making new animations for powers X, Y, and Z, why not go through and gradually give every powerset a couple of alternate animations? Not necessarily like Super Strength, where most of the powers have alternates, but stuff like making sure that each Blaster Nova-style attack has a unique and thematically-appropriate animation. Little bits here and there to help give the oldest powersets a tiny shred of individuality. -
The one little thing I would like to see is an entry in the AH that tells you what an NPC will pay for something. For that matter, I should be able to sell stuff right from the AH interface.

Different folks may be using different definitions of Mary Sue, or at least empasizing differnt aspects. I think IantheM1 is asking how he's a Mary Sue in the sense of "thinly veiled avatar of the author", while others are using the "practically perfect ion every way, point the solution out to the main characters, Wesley Crusher is the son I wish you were" aspect.

When you say "Metal Slime", what comes to my mind is the T-1000 from Terminator 2 (in "special effect" mode, not human disguise), or the aqua-alien from The Abyss; is that the sort of effect you're thinking of?

Been here since beta, with a couple of breaks.
1. SSK
2. Power Proliferation. Just need to finish it now.
3. Removal of zone level limits (though many people are probably counting that as part of SSK)
4. Rikti Invasions
5. UM shinies. I don't real care about the rest of it, but I *love* my reflective costume pieces. -
