Btw, status for me so far: I am now a Primal Praetorian (blue)! I am doing the protean arcs to get tips and expect, at some point, to begin the vigi tips when I'm done with Nancy's arc (as I already have three if memory preserves). But yeah, if anyone else of y'all have crossed over to PC, you can see if I'm online, then we can do some vigi tips! My global is @Difficult One. -

So, what level are you all around? 22? 25? And have you chose sides?
As stated, I plan on going blueside and become a vigi, but that's really only because of my theme! I wouldn't at all mind going redside and get the accolades over there, just doesn't fit to the concept plans I have for my toon (which aren't that many)

While already being on the topic of future Alignments (somewhat), I would like to ask your opinions on my toon's direction. BS/Will, named Icarus Bright and is doing the Resistance Crusader arc (meany beany :P). Although it might sound cliche, her theme on Primal Earth is to become some sort of executioner. I know, original :P Thing is, though, she's my first stalker with this actual theme.
Nonetheless, of the two "grey" alignments, Rogue and Vigilante, which one do you guys think she'd fit under the best? Way I see it, both Alignments could work, all depending on the ends of the means. A Rogue would be an executioner for money, where a Vigilante would do it to keep the streets clean (or if more villainous vigilant, to be close to just outright killing whoever she thought deserved it). Any help? -
According to your description of your playstyle I'd say stay with Fire/fire. StJ has somewhat good AoE, but it lacks "true" PBAoE, as it's primary aoe attack is a Targeted AoE.
Titan Weapons is a monster with AoE, as it has 3 cones (the first as early as level 1!) and 1 PBAoE! Thing is though, the PBAoE attack can not be used unless you have momentum (which means that you have to have attacked with one attack already, making it impossible to use the PBAoE as an opening move*). Titan/Fire is also a fairly useful combo, as Titan weapons eats end like hell, thus making consume a life saver!
*However, if you use Build Up, or Build Momentum as it's called, you can use the attack as an opener. -

Oh and Errant, regarding Leadership why would you like Assault > Maneuvers? I mean if we stay in buff range of each other, odds are we'll be doing more damage anyway thanks to the added crit chance, no? -

Speaking of which, in-game, at some point it was thought that we should all be getting leadership powers to compliment our awesomeness. Is this gonna be one of the criteria or can we decide on that ourselves? Mainly asking because it doesn't feel too pleasant to be forced into certain powers ^^
Edit: By the way, are we agreeing on getting to lvl 20 for Wednesday? -

To all interested, there was a rough, never formalized goal of all the Secondaries, and it was also the intent to roll new ones. So while you wouldn't be turned away if you transferred to Exalted and brought a pimped out toon, the majority of us will be trying new and untested Stalkers. (I know I'm playing a concept, because dear gods would I no way ever play a resist-based Stalker in normal, team game play.

This seems like a cool idea indeed! As a lover of Stalkers, I'd like to join in on this on Wednesday if you want me there and if the time fits with me (CET) Global in sig and do you want me to make a new toon or just bring over my main (lvl 50 DM/regen, redside)? Personally I think it'd be better with rolling a new one, as I don't like changing my main's alignment too much :P
EDIT: It could seem that I might have difficulties with making it in time, as I'm usually having dinner at the time, but if my laptop is available, I'll be sure to log in and play around!

Brutes are Fire. They're an awesome force to behold once they're going, but they need to consume everything in their path. If they have nothing to feed on, they fade away to nothing. Playing one means you always want to keep hitting things, and if you stop you become a very weak scrapper until you get rolling again.
Tanks are Earth. They are the rocks upon which others shatter themselves. They're not fast, but they're dependable. Playing one well means you can survive things that would kill just about anyone else, and that's where the real fun is.
Scrappers are Air. They move as they please, landing in an area, filling it with chaos, and then moving on when they're ready. They can't take the damage a Tank can take, but they don't need to work to keep themselves going like a Brute does. Impulse and luck are the Scrapper's way.
Stalkers are Water. They may seem all wet, but once they get into your house, you'll soon find that the "harmless little drip" does a lot of damage. Squishier than most, playing one solo is mostly about jumping out and going "Boo! Got your spleen!", and then dealing with your victim's upset friends. Playing one on a team means you may not get to use your big attack very often, but you can still do good damage to start things off, or help with stealthing missions. Except for ambushes, playing a Stalker tends to let you pick and choose if you really want to bother with most of the fights in a mission or not.
Also, to the OP and general thread, I'm (to a degree) surprised there hasn't been mentioned a lot about Stalkers, which I personally like a great deal! I think they might be able to be fun to you Scarlet, because although some of the sets don't add much AoE, every set can if anything offer you Fear, which to a well working Stalker can be all the control needed in order to finish it's work thanks to the frequent critical hits! What is your impression of Stalkers? -
