Tankers, as a whole, do better than average

[/ QUOTE ]

I would love to know how you measure this. Deaths? Debt? XP/S?

Somehow I doubt its anything that I use to value an AT.
2. [ QUOTE ]

I had something similar happen to me recently. I'm UK-based and despite the fact I've been paying for this game for three years without a break, my bank denied the overseas transaction at the end of July, for what they said were "activities inconsistent with general usage of card."

[/ QUOTE ]

I experienced the same deal and so have a few of my friends.

Most annoying though is that the system NC use for credit card payment doesn't refresh very quickly. So once my bank had authorised the payment I couldn't resubmit for another day

To stop the transaction being blocked each time I had to get my account flagged for "internet use".

I was not very impressed by the whole thing. I don't mind them flagging something as suspicious but one look at my account would have shown that practically the ONLY thing I use my credit card for is paying for this game AND I have been doing that for 3 years. PLUS they (the bank) would never have informed me that the transaction had been refused. Which is stupid and inexcusable.

*rant over*

Being totally selfish for a moment: this is the only one I really care about.

I am still cross with the Devs for putting the market economy before the needs of SGs. Perhaps now the market is established they will rectify the issue?

Small point but the base raid telepad should only be required for raiding bases.

[/ QUOTE ]

why? because it has the word "Raid" in it? what if it was instead called the Advanced Telepad? what if part of the suggestion was to rename it to aid in the roleplay?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because its a big clunky ugly thing with costs (size being the biggest cost factor) balanced for PvP not PvE.

[/ QUOTE ]
lol, very bad reasons. Especially if it was to be renamed and balanced for PvE like we are suggesting...

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't care about the name but as its stands its a rather "big" thing to have to have in your base to enable you to use the Mission Generator which already takes some effort to get. Especially when it seems entirely unnecessary.

to expand on my idea a bit: Perhaps have an option that shows up when you talk to a contact such as Lord Recluse that says "Agree to form a Super Group Strike Force" and after you do it, you can then all say something like "TO THE BATCAVE!" (or whatever you call your base) and just do the missions as you normally would, but in the base via the raid porter. That way you still have to assemble in the proper zone to start the SF. Also, have the name of the SF be the name of the sg, in my case it would be Strike Force Bane of Prometheus rather than some random name. I dunno, it's not the greatest idea ever but it would give a little sg identity to it and promote sg/coalition teaming more.

11. Well I see your point, we just don't agree.

I would love to see some new missions added to that mission generator and a TF to get the stuff to make an improved telepad would be just perfect IMO.

I would also add that telepads are one of the main things in a base that signify growth to you SG. Add a new telepad and everyone goes Woot! So I think some kind of SG TF to earn the improvement would just expand that.

We will agree to disagree
12. [ QUOTE ]
No. You shouldn't have to go that far out of your way to craft something.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you come up with a good reason why not?

An advanced telepad would be a highly desirable object for a SG. Having to do a SG mission or TF to get the components to make one doesn't seem that onerous or unreasonable.

Plus if it was in a repeatable mission you'd probably be able to buy it easily enough.

[ QUOTE ]
I have no problems with requiring special salvage for it. I just have problems with require a specific task to get that salvage.

[/ QUOTE ]

Again why? If you want an IoP you have to do a special task to get it. I would love to see a decent PvE reason to do the CoP and getting a special component for a dimensional/teleport device seems entirely in keeping with the story.

[edit] "Just because ..." is a perfectly acceptable answer

If it were up to me Empowerment Stations would:
[*]Create Special Inspirations rather than the buffs they do now.

The advantage of the temp powers is that they will remain in effect on your character if you die.
Do you really think it's worth losing that benefit?

[/ QUOTE ]

Honestly? YES
14. If it were up to me Empowerment Stations would:
[*]Create Special Inspirations rather than the buffs they do now.[*]They'd produce the same effects as the buffs but duration & strength would be appropriate for Insps.[*]2nd tier stations would create 2nd tier inps and 3rd create 3rd.[*]You store them in you insp storage and sell them on the market.[*]Like any insp they would stack.

Slash commands.
Currently everything in the base editor is operated with the mouse. Providing slash commands could make editing easier for those dedicated to the idea. Slash commands could also be used to allow fine manipulation of objects if the developers wanted to include such. (/move_object 10, /rotate_object, ect.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Oooh! Thats an idea!

However, we hope everyone can appreciate the history behind this older content and also appreciate that, in the larger scheme of things, we have our designers working hard to bring out exciting new content in a timely manner and not spending too much time optimizing the experience of dated content.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmmm. Really you can't just abandon existing content. Can it really be that much work to update the reward tables appropriately?

The Eden and Sewer trials are (IMO) still some of the best content in the game and if they aren't being played much it is certainly worth your while spending some time working out why [edit] and fixing the issue! nat!
