Just for interest: there is an article over at that other web site where Jack admits that forced teaming was a mistake. I think the leadership change has caused a similar shift in direction for both teams. -

Why 13? Don't you want trail users to experience Flight, Super speed etc? Thats one of the best reasons to play the game! -

I know this is from the previous patch but I have only just noticed the effects of this in game. From a PvE position this is really a bit ridiculous. Fighting the Knives of Artimis (sp?) I was hovering some 18 feet in the air and still taking damage from Caltrops thrown on the floor below me.
All-in-all whatever the PvP reason this is a bit silly -

I don't mind mobs running too much as long as it is realistic. I remember fighting Heracles once and he would have bet me but he suddenly decided to run away! Girl!
More annoying is when hostage guards decide to run, so you've killed all the mobs in the area but the hostage is still on their knees because a CoT Spectral whatsit has decided to visit some obscue area of the map! Grrr! -

I cannot describe how strongly I feel about this particular issue. As a Super Group leader I go as far as saying the lack of Invention storage is an affront to super groups. Quite frankly we are MORE important than the market in retaining players.
It is foolish in the extreme for you (the devs) to lock SGs out of the invention system since helping our members with the supply of enhancements was (prior to Inventions) the main area a SG could provide benefit. Now we are reduced to a social club and transit house.
This needs to be addressed. I cannot say that more forcefully. Your stance on the market IS damaging SGs. -
I find the lack of a map to the Midnight Squads club to be annoying. Please give some indication as to which zone you are about to enter when leaving.
I'm not sure why the zone hasn't been given a map, I see no benefit in its lack. Since part of the task is exploration it would be nice to be able to slowly uncover the map.
All in all, a pretty small complaint -

does anyone else fear that auto-leveling to the content would be a potential for massive powerleveling? You could take a 50, PL a pair of level 1's, and not have to find mentors for both of them. And yes, they gain XP at 50, not 49, but on only a 3-man team instead of divided by 4, or even divided by 5 if they were planning to sit AFK at the door with their mentors.
and now expand "powerleveling" to include the question of if you give extra SG Rewards for such a mission. You'd get a setup where it's easy to pad the mission for that added reward without regard for levels or "presence".

If everyone is the same level it will not be as good for PLing as the normal "bridge" set up. In fact it would be identical to SKing. The only difference would be that in theory one character could SK 7. No a big deal IMO.
Mind you if the PLers did start doing this and we no longer got all those bridging and mentor farm requests I for one would not be upset -

I don't care about the name but as its stands its a rather "big" thing to have to have in your base to enable you to use the Mission Generator which already takes some effort to get. Especially when it seems entirely unnecessary.

Who Necro'd the thread? Only a year ago and I don't remember saying any of that -
I would like to a SG missions that work so that everyone is exemped/sked to the same level. That would actually help SG members team when they don't have the right numbers of mentors etc.
Beyond that I'd like to see the odd story arc. I also think these missions should be a little harder (these people are suppose to work together) and maybe give slightly more prestige. -
Thing I am most interested in is the branching dialog tech.
It would be great if some missions (particularly villain side) allowed you to make some choices and see it effect the mission completion and contact dialog -

This game CAN tell the difference between someone thats logged off and someone thats QUIT the tf.
Therefore a better solution to softloading is to set spawn size to team size including logged off.
If someone quits the TF spawn sizes should adjust because they are not coming back. -
Suggestion:
Since this is being done because of an exploit could we not change the spawn sizes so that it can tell the difference between people that are logged off and people that have quit?
