Since you can play for free now, all I'm saying is that you should have access to Incarnates if you bought GR. Not gonna fight tooth and nail for this like some people, just saying.
I've said this elsewhere (possibly in this thread) but Going Rogue grants you access to Pratoria (sp?) and the alignment system. You need both to access the Incarnate stuff but Going Rogue does not grant you access to Incarnates.

As someone that has been away from the game for a couple of years, this was extremely clear to me. I think the confusion has come from statements Devs may have made on these forums. They hoped to get some Incarnate stuff out with Going Rogue, but it didn't happen. So some forum goers have merged the stuff together. However official advertising never had any Incarnate stuff in Going Rogue. Thats all.
  2. When I bought Going Rogue is said it granted access to the Alignment System and Praetoria. It said nothing about the Incarnate System. I'd been away from the game so I don't think I even knew about the Incarnate System yet. So as far as I am concerned none of the official product descriptions for Going Rogue included anything about Incarnates.

When did we have a rep feature on the forums? I remember a stars system, but wasn't here for a rep system.

    Mail Invites

The solution to that is to make it a VIP Only function. Also not sure about the storage argument either, since I haven't used storage since they allowed us to email "stuff"

Were I a Dev I would created a Bases Booster Pack. It would include a variety of cosmetic items like pool tables that would not require any coding, a recipe storage device that would and the ability to mail SG invites. Tell me that wouldn't sell
  6. I like the idea. I wouldn't use it for any of my characters, but I like the idea.

You should probably have to pay for it to make it worth the development costs though.

    ;thumbsup
  7. I was worried it was going to be a thread suggesting Magic origin characters should spell casting actions etc etc. I used to hate those thread! Glad this is something different

Still, up until Issue 21 we used to start of with missions dictated by our origin. Personally I would be happy to see more Origin Contacts.

Previously (well, with the GvE package anyway) you got the option to upgrade your account.

I have logged a support call to see if I can get it added. Will let you know what happens.
Just to add that the very nice people in Customer Support sorted the issue and my account is now upgraded. I'm sure you were all very anxious to hear that! Kudos to the support team

You name has gone golden. There's an ever increasing number of gold names, all with their forum tag as VIP. Guess we are going to lose the Forum Cartel Bit of forum history going.

Thats not how I read it. I think he has become quite relaxed (for Rory anyway) about Amy and the Doctor's relationship. And at the end of the episode he was surprised but not jumping for joy when the Doctor dumped them off. Accepting, that's Rory, accepting!

Simply creating a mission would not give them enough rep to go on a down-grade rampage. I suggested the Stack-exchange system because it works rather well.

PLUS "their original intent" (base raiding) doesn't exist in any form, shape or guise. There is almost no team SG base content at all. So to insist that SG Bases absolutely MUST be multi-player activities is nothing short of denial.

Bases as they exist now are nothing more than an enjoyable inf dump. Denying them to solo players at this stage of the game is just a little silly.

We should still point out how wrong a decision that is though Plus if it did happen it wouldn't be the first time they changed their minds.

Once he makes a character whose powers he likes and which he learns how to master in "high level play", he wants to stick with it and experience new content through that one character (or two, maybe).
The to be honest this probably isn't the game for him. CoX is (imo) for people with altitis. The "real" content is not so much in the stories (although some are great) but in the various powers and AT combinations.

Having said that though, I do both! I have one favourite character I try and do everything with and then a host of other characters "just to be different".

  23. Personally I was happy with the idea of influence as "influence" right up until they planted a shop in the middle of most zones that buys and sells things and survives on a taking a percentage. I still think it a shame that it wasn't framed as something like Star Labs instead of an actual auction house.

I'd now like to apologise for bring up the tired old subject in an otherwise interesting thread. I promise not to do it again
