*hands out some vitamin D tablets*
I've only done a little door knocking this Halloween, has the Halloween Salvage been removed to become a trial exclusive? Or have I just been very unlucky?
I also don't understand the Zombie Zone Event thingy and haven't been interested enough it it to try and work out what you are suppose to do. -
Quote:I'd really like an option where we pull out a walkie-talkie for a few seconds, a circle of light to appear on the ground followed by the death from above energy strikeI would love to have some tech options for Judgement, (in case we cant get an orbital cannon)

Quote:In a nutshell, Yes.Do folks just ignore that and consider Incarnate progress as "new levels"?
I think its clear that people would like options for the FX that better fit their internal character descriptions. So that they can be rationalised as something other than "The Well". -
I liked the way the Proclaimers were the worst at doing the silly walk

Quote:That is so much better than the awful movie rubber suits!
FX Lab create costume in RL from the game model!!
Seriously, this thing is freaking amazing!! It could easily appear in a TV series, movie, whatever, or just simply be bought a million hard core fans!
Would love to know how much it cost! -

Quote:This.MMO stuff in City of Heroes is done in such a way that if all I want is to flip out and kill stuff, the game is more than happy to provide. And that is very, very rare.
The majority of my gaming time is limited to short bursts. In City of Heroes practically anything that needs to get done can get done in an hour, two at most. Which means I can log in, get something done, leave satisfied.
In the past I have stopped playing games I have otherwise enjoyed purely because the next stage required 1.5 hours before the next "save". -
Quote:They always spawned in the SE Corner or Dark Astoria where the "Too Dark Park" badge now resides. At least that's where I got my Mask Badge back when badges were first released.Correction: This used to be a pretty good time of year for the masks badge because the bit of Talos by the DA gate was almost the only place outside a mission to find them. Fun trivia for the new kids - While Dark Astoria is and always has been full of Banished, for many years mask bosses did not spawn in the wild - only the tiki bosses, who don't count toward the badge.
However, as of several issues ago Banished masks do spawn in DA, and anyone can get the badge easily in under an hour sweeping Moth Cemetery. So, the excuse of perpetual darkness being an advantage to badge hunting is no longer valid. -

Quote:Perhaps I like it because I am comparing it to the previous red content where you are always an Arachnos lacky. At least in the new content you get to tell the Spiders where to shove it.Graves, on the other hand, well, first you start off better than the rest, but in the end you're more of an errand boy than anything. I don't like my villain feeling like he was just a means to an end, he's the one that's supposed to be doing that to others, not the other way around. If he's *part* of a plot, sure, but you end up being the lowest common denominator ;9
Which is why you should be allowed to kick Scirroco's butt at the end -
Well given that Maelstrom is soon to appear in his own Incarnate trial we should expect him to be pulled from this mission or possibly replaced by a mook borrowing his costume.

Quote:This is typical of your posts. Here you are complaining that you can't do something that isn't even in the game. The Well part of the Incarnate trail is covered by the mission you do solo. The rest of the Incarnate stuff is about Praetoria. The Incarnate storyline is the storyline of the Well of the Furies, which will only take notice of people once they hit level 50. The Praetorian side of things is just one small aspect of it. Pretty soon, I'm sure the Shadow Shard will enter into the picture, as will more of Ouroboros. But the Well is still central.

99% of the game doesn't feature Incarnate powers and, as I mentioned, THAT is also something I want to have a shot at. It's post-50 character progression. Your argument would be valid if you said 99% of the game's content doesn't take place in TFs, so if I don't want to do them, I don't have to. And this is true. I can get to 50 without running a single TF. Can I get my Judgement, Lore and so on slots without running Incarnate Trials? Specifically, before I grow old and die?
The problem is you keep finding new ways to twist my words, and if you keep doing that you're going make me stop taking you seriously. -
Quote:Really? Because currently the incarnate story arcs is the Praetorian story arc and it is not limited to the content in the Incarnate trials. Aspects of this story arc are available without doing the trials. No, I don't. Not in the slightest. What I want is story arcs.
So what's the problem? 99% of this game is non-raid content and the last issue delivered a whole new zone of non-raid content. Non-raid content that is part of the same story arc. -
Indian Superhero movie Bollywood's most expensive movie to date
It seems there is a cinema near me thats showing it, so I may have to go and see.
It does have a dance number I believe. Got to be better than the one in Spiderman 3 -
Seems an odd change to make to me. I guess they want to highlight the costume bundles a bit.
If they were going to make changes in this area I wish they had added the ability to "Lock" bits of the costume. I like clicking the random button, but perversely, as they have added more and more costume parts the effects have become worse. It would be nice to click randomly and go "I like that bit, lock it." then click random again. -

Quote:If you can't be "scruffy" there would be no need to burn your beard off with a mirror and your laser visionWell given that they recently released a pic where we see Superman with a scruffy beard as well I guess they're going with idea that Kryptonians can be "scruffy" in this movie. *shrugs*

Quote:Ewww. Glad I did the old version then.Nope. You've gone from "I've singlehandedly torn through all the big-bad Praetorians" in the old mission to "I've been told to sit back and watch like a good third-stringer as Statesman/Positron/Whoever else they've thrown in the mission to aggro on things a mile away and one shot them finishes the mission for me, and defeat not Tyrant but a guard who's been raiding his dress rack."
Yeah. The new version sucks.
They should put Tyrant back in and have some text about the Well denying him access. Or maybe because of his defeat at our hands, Tyrant submits to the Well to access more power. -
Quote:Is that an argument for or against? I'm not sureJoining the Justice League showed just how weak Superman was.
ps: obligatory Penny Arcade link -
You want the raid content (and by "content" here we mean the incarnate powers) but because you don't like raids you want the raid content changed to something else. Even though you acknowledge that those powers are total overkill outside the raid environment. I don't think that's reasonable. Doubly so, when the Devs say they have plans for solo incarnate content but for some reason that's not good enough?
