And with Psychoti's sub running out soon, Steelclaw has a shot at becoming the new Twit Magnet (tm)!
Best of luck to you Steelclaw! I'm rootin for you!
I was just thinking what would happen if Psychotic ans Steelclaw ended up in a 'tell' fight with eachother. I think the servers would just die of the awsomeness.

As has been stated. You should post this in the Tech forums. That's where all the tech geeks (
) are hanging out. Here we're just normal geeks.

I have to work.
But I'm off early tonight and on late tomorrow.. All nighter!

I'm named after my first hero, main character and first to 50. He's inspired by one of my early '80s PnP characters.. Strangly enough one of my villains. Now I'm pretty happy Powerhouse was taken (duh!) as Jack is easier to say.

The entire list is good but there's always at least one LOL moment in every list for me. This time it's this one.
Thanks for a good start to my day Steelclaw.

Craziness? I thougt this was a serious discussion? At least as serious as it gets on Guardian.

HeroStats is my all time favourite add on in CoH. I was so sad when I noticed it doesn't work well with Vista. I'm very sad about this. I have heard it might work with windowed mode, but I just can't bare to play in windowed mode, I have no idea why, I guess it makes me feel like I'm playing a browser game.

Now now. You came here asking for help and you got it. You'd be surprised how many have got all their YP beacons. It's really not that hard. Just use Paragonwiki and Vidiotmaps and you'l be done in mere hours.

I must say that the one thing I wish they'd remove is the double-click teleport thing. I don't know how many times I was trying to pick up an object just to find myself TPed over to said object.
//Jack -
Maybe a stupid comment but are you stacking from the top? The floortiles are transperant from below and fly/hover is almost a requirement for base builders.
//Jack -
There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. Check out this link for info on zones. And Paragonwiki is just filled with goodies about our great game.
Welcome to the game and the forum.

Ok. I'm signed up now. Like Viv I'm on Guardian and I'm usually on and I'd love to join this.

Quote:Really? I would think clear rules are a good thing. I know that this issue is on a greyscale. I'd just think that knowing the criterias the GMs judge by. It seems more than one player in the could use this clearer rulebook. Mind you, I'm not talking about some small costume detail here. I'm thinking, like someone said in another thread about reporting these guys as a player, the three strike rule. "Bio, name, costume, if two are blatantly in violation I'd report them". While this isn't my personal standpoit I can understand players but shouldn't GMs have strickter guidelines?We don't need to be given clearcut rules to follow. Each and every one of us knows damn well when we are guilty of making a copyright/trademark violation.
By not making a clearcut rule NCSoft has given their GM's the flexibility to enforce not only the letter of the law but the spirit as well.
That means players can't argue that one little detail is off so technically they aren't violating the rules.
I believe what Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said about pornography can easily be applied here as well:
I shall not today attempt further to define the kinds of material I understand to be embraced within that shorthand description [Copyright/Trademark violations]; and perhaps I could never succeed in intelligibly doing so. But I know it when I see it.
//Jack -
Yes? And shouldn't the GMs job be much easier then? If there are clearcut rules to be followed we don't have to have these kinds of threads about some poor guy getting genericed.
You think this is a greyscale problem? Not black and white?
