  1. Force Bolt has waaaaay too many recharge slots. 2 acc and 1 recharge is plenty, perhaps an end reducer if you have trouble (I know I do).

    Battle drones could possibly do with another acc slot, since they fight a few levels below you.

    PFF needs 2 or 3 defbuffs to be really reliable. You could get them from the extra end reducers in assault perhaps?

    Personally, I like to take photon grenades, since the stun from those stacks nicely with that of the probots when they're upgraded. If I calculate right, you can lay down about 7 magnitudes of stun if you're really lucks - the seeker drones and photon grenades from the probots and another photon grenade (or repulsion bomb thing) from you. Of course, you'd have to be really luck to get this, but still...

    Controllers have holds, its their main thing and to get them to indulge in some form of sub game while a stalker comes up from behind and [censored] you is not pvp. Blasters have no mez protection but can blow the attackee to kingdom come, its all swings and roundabouts. The mezz factor is fine as it is, it does next to no damage and is mainly a support character. Whats next? someone healing the opposition isnt fair on the person who is not getting healed to have his opponent restored to full health, what about someone with mezz protection, thats not fair for people with mezz powers, perhaps we need to come up with a sub game in order to see if each and every power hits/defends and is effective

    I dont mean to be rude in anyway and Im sorry if it sounds like I am getting at you but the pvp system may not be perfect but it is pretty good. No AT is overpowered and all have their strengths, seeing as how there is a specific insp to negate mezz I dont see a problem with the system.

    If you use tactics, RI and Irradiate you get around the fact the choking cloud has terrible accuracy
  5. Aye, if you#ve got enough attacks to make a good attack chain go with x-ray beam instead of neutrino bolt. Just never ever get both!

    yeah, I'd like to fit it in, but I like tp as a travel power and the build is tight as it is. I'll have to go back and take a look

    If I was gonna slot up vengance I'd take them from elsewhere, but I won't use this power a whole lot so I think it can stay as it is.

    Maybe I will get rid of Proton Volley (but I love the sound!) since it'll be no use to the way I play in PvP - dive in and move around a lot. If I do this, Irradiate will be in for the big defence debuff, which will help Choking Cloud to do it's thing. Maybe.

    I'm already at 50, so choosing elec isn't an option. I went with rad for concept reasons.

    Having those 2 AoEs early on should be good fun

    And try to use Irradiate as an opener, for it's big defence debuff and to let the damage over time to do something
  10. Switch RI to either lvl 8 or 10. Remember, it has a good def debuff so you'll do more damage by hitting more often, and missing can be a real problem early on. Put EF in at either 22 or 24.
    The 2 rechargers from Atomic Blast could be put somewhere else, perhaps into cosmic burst if you want to go blastery. It's a really great power that one! This is all fine tuning really.

    They are very good, especially if you take the ice primary. Cold, Dark or Rad as a secondary would be good.

    I've got an Ice/Dark and I think I need a PvP nerf - all those holds and terrors that I throw arround must get highly annoying in a very short space of time!
  12. Psychic has a really evil -recharge, it's not nice to get hit by a couple of them. Combining that with siphon speed might be nice. It does have slighly long (and pretty naff) animations.
  13. You might find end a bit of a problem - Enervating Field is very expensive to run, even with 3 slots, but it's certainly worth it. Radiation Infection is fairly expensive too, but you should be able to live without end redux in there.
    The only blast power that's worth slotting for def debuff is Irradiate.
    You've got too many rechargers in mutation (it's fine with one), people you team with don't die that often to they?
    EM Pulse deserves at least 5 slots (2 acc 3 hold) and if you take less it's very likely to get you killed, since the hold duration will be too short. Remember, this power has a VAST area of effect and when the hold runs out everything will be gunning for you.
    I wouldn't take both Neutron Bomb and Electron Haze, they both have horrible animation times. Damage on Neutron Bomb is pretty poor, so maybe stick with Electron Haze.
    Oh, and try to shuffle things around so you get stamina at 20. I'd suggest taking proton volley at 22, swift at 8 (to help with the boring running about) and hover (or air superiority) at 12.

    I'd make a few other suggestions too, but you have to decide whether you want o be a corruptor that leans towards blasting or defending.

    welcome to the world of the squishie. Stuns, sleeps, holds will infuriate you!

    Edit: If you want to be defendery, the only attacks you really need are neutrino bolt, cosmic burst and irradiate, the latter slotted for defence debuff. Take assault (and maybe tactics) and all of the secondary set except fallout.

    Cognito, I agree with you there, but if I take Irradiate I'll have to lose Proton Volley, and it'd be nice to have at least one hard hitting attack (cosmic burst is being used for the stun). Fallout is a nice PvP toy, and with vengange it'll be a nasty surprise for the bad guys when the first member of our team goes down hehehe

  15. So I wrote my guide, which was basically a look at the powers but it turns out the difficult bit is deciding what you want to do with everything at your disposal. This build is designed for teaming and PvP. I would liked to have fit Irradiate in there, to help Choking Cloud to hit, but that would mean getting rid of the snipe with the funky sound.

  17. I had it in my build for a long while but I got rid of it. I just miss the sound of all those guys gurgling and choking on radioactive goo

    Also, tactics isn't just for choking cloud, I would have taken that anyway so it's not a big deal.

    Sorry, but I'm still reeling from doing pretty well with the PvP this evening; usually I spend the whole time face down or running to find someone to make me face down

    Edit: Lecxe is right, build gives a huge advantage in PvP. One key thing is to try and have some kind of mezz with a decent duration. Unfortunatly for me (I pretty much always play squishies) these grow on trees.

    It really was excellent fun, but despite being safe as houses I still found new and interesting ways to faceplant

    Totally disagree here - trollers do some pretty nice damage at low levels with containment, and I can imagine the damage can become quite colossal with epic powers.

    Defiance, however, is more of a case of "ow, ow, ow, ooh look my defiance bar is up" *faceplant*

    The pulse of choking cloud is every five seconds with 50% base accuracy, but there's no visual clues to this.
  25. Yeah, that's pretty much how I used to play when I had it, but I never used tactics back in those days. If the +acc from tactics and -def from RI work then I might just take it again
