Reading about peregrine falcons, apparently their only real predator (besides man) is the great horned owl. Back to the search!

I'm disappointed that Carrion Crow is already taken. Well, shall we try for another type of archnemesis? For the game, I mean -- you can always use Carrion Crow and White Peregrine offline.

Brilliant summation, Graver. Ego v. Id.
In the practical construction of White Peregrine's arch foe, there needs to be some consideration for the basic story elements. Is he going to be the opposite of WP, or merely his dark doppelganger?
If it were me, I might hit on the natural v. unnatural aspect. That could be mechanical, or perhaps (like the serial killer idea above) a supernatural, undead opponent. Or you could go with something like a carrion bird rather than the raptor. A vulture or condor. (Although now we have to consider trademark infringement.)
Ooh, it has come to me! The Carrion Crow! It has flight, it's black with sickly green highlights, it's a scavenger, and -- for good mirror imagery -- the name is the opposite of White Peregrine's syllablically. -
Okay, I gave it a whirl: Ultimate Static Thunder.

...define your vision of Ultimate.~

Yeah, I don't get it. I really like ST's costume as-is. You can change it around a little, but it's still pretty good. After all, Ultimate Spider-Man looks like he always has, just younger than the main one. Ultimate Hawkeye was easy to modernize, because his old outfit was ridiculous. ST doesn't have this problem. -
Interesting beginning, Robocop meets Dr. Moreau. Lots of typos need fixing, but it's a good start overall.
I have a couple of questions, though.
Based on the picture of CyberLynx, how is he in a hotel room alone? Seems unlikely he'd have money or a credit card.
It also seems to me Crey wouldn't just kill Dr. Welch, but rather "reassign" her, making better use of her skills. Plus, it's creepier that way. Or, alternately, have her be the meat in the cage at the end. ("I sniff. This meat smells familiar. It is... that female doctor? Noo! Please God, no! It is overwhelming... I begin to eat Dr. Welch.")
I assume you're going to drop in a few illustrations at some point? -

WOW. I can actually see their 4 lethal weapons.

You and your glove fetish, Static! Honestly! -
You digital inking pros need -- need! -- to continue the tutorial giving and finding. I want to see what UB comes up with!

Looks cool so far, but I'm confused by the arms... are those bodies inside the floor or something?

Ok, but they occasionally censure - that is my beef as well.

Censure or censor? Huge difference, there. It's the difference between disapproval and decapitation.
I've certainly had my fair share of posts deleted by moderators, because I'm opinionated and sometimes cranky, but that's to be expected. Mostly, though, they leave me alone. So again I ask: has someone been banned for some reason?

well, there was that whole issue with Gill/Jomaro's "Cuppajo" tribute peice being left out of the "official" Cuppajo fan art section...

I was waiting for someone to elaborate on this comment, but since no one has... anyone care to share what happened, there?
Was it just a disagreement over ownership of the particular piece, or what? -
Very cool -- first pic I've seen based in Eden, too.

"Go-T?" Is that a new Mr. T thingy? Or did you mean "goatee?"

I really dig this but...
There's just something about it that doesn't quite sit well with me.
I think it's the way that her left shoulder (to our right) is higher than her right, but yet her chest is level? Wouldn't having her bent sideways like that tend to cause her chest to shift in that direction as well? I know that corsets are fairly rigid, but... even so, it just doesn't seem like that rigidity is shown. The effect (to me) is that her upper body is out of proportion to her shoulders and hips.
I hope I'm not confusing anyone here.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, you're clear. I agree, and was just about to do a second post about that very thing, but you've summed it up nicely. I think her left hand also lends to the feeling of it being out of proportion.
It's not that anything is particularly "wrong" with the piece, it's just that the relationship of the various elements gives it an oddly disjointed feeling. -
That's an interesting behind-the-art peek, because before I read that I was going to comment on how the background was all groovy and cool and didn't seem digital at all.
-
Although I may be alone in this sentiment, I'm glad that in the pencils it's clear that the one in front isn't...er..."cupping" herself. I think you know what I'm trying to say.
-
Interesting... that one seems more about the monster than the heroes.

Ghost Widow, completely disinterested as GB gets his mack on and busts a move. Heh.

Obeyest this commandmant, Altoholic Monkey: Thou shalt not eat banana rum cake whilst watching Shakespeare and then post.

Because your backgrounds are deeper than mine, and your images sharper. I think it must be the RAM -- you have twice mine.
