The original idea was to put all the characters that appeared in fan art together.
Thor's Assassin, Rowr, Invincibelle, Roxstar were good examples.
Also, the artist who drew a lot of CoH fanart were invited too.
Now, honestly I don't know.
I know it is fun, and I'm sure there are players I've never heard of before or never seen the characters drawn.
The important part: priority to SG grouping and have fun, enjoy the game, and don't be picky on AT, sets or builds.

Ooh, I didn't realize there were rules... I thought it was for artists and art appreciators.
Well, perhaps I can skate in on the barest minimum requirement for "artist" since I made a couple fake book covers.
DA page. -
Thanks Gama.
It occurs to me that neither shot of Ironik included his feet. There's a full-length pic in the Alt Alphabet link in my sig.
I don't mind waiting. Someone promised a Timm version of my toon 6 months ago and I'm still waiting on that, and a friend of mine promised to sculpt another over a year ago and I'm still waiting for her to get around to that, so it's all good. I just think it's cool that you do stuff like this. -
I've been a fan of Thally's work for a few months now (I have her saved in my Artwork Bookmarks), but I hadn't realized she was a CoH player. Nice!

Gratz my good man. The changes that will be coming are along a road filled with happy moments and a lifetime of memories. Enjoy the cuteness while you can...one day you'll wake up and she'll be screaming about designer jeans and boys

My biggest fear.

Do you have a preschool picked out? A good preschool is key to a lifetime of success. Get her in the wrong one and she's off to community college. -

Nice! But I think a spiked baseball bat will be better.

A spiked bat... on fire! -

o.O ~scratches head~
Ironik? were you asking for one? (yah, it just occured to me that's why you were posting, doh!) If so, you'll go to the top of the list.
[/ QUOTE ]
I would love to have one.
Let's see... 132 alts, which to choose, which to choose?
Actually, I'd like one of my namesake, the Italian Scrapper with the "full speed ahead!" attitude: Ironik.
Also Ironik.
Thanks! -

Actually, the one in her right hand is the sword of flame, the one in her left hand is the blade of ice. War Witch's powersets as a Blaster were Ice/Fire, as written by Rick Dakan and drawn by Brandon McKinney in the original Blue King comic books. I wanted to keep the elemental nature of her powers, but give them a little boost, melee-wise.
She'd look like a dual wielding Jedi with red and blue lightsabers in combat. How cool would that be?
[/ QUOTE ]
That would be very cool. On the other hand, it would be hot.
Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all zee veek. -

Oh oh something I just remembered. I think the night after I first read about this CoH movie, the next morning I had a dream that I got an email from Cryptic that went something like "Hello! We would like to include your character Rowr in the upcoming City of Heroes movie! We need your permission to do so, as well as to flesh out her background and personality for the screenplay, so could you please contact us back at your earliest convenience. Oh this is under an NDA so you can't tell anyone!"
Yeah. That would have been so cool

...and it woulda been NC17, too.
Yeah it would. -

Wait.... Kilo's both a hero and a villain? Mind explaining that a bit more?
[/ QUOTE ]
Crestent answered the question pretty good, see my signature below.
The short story:
The villainside Brute, Kilotonnage is the "real" Kilo, a rogue Troll.
The heroside Tanker, Kilotonnage is a simulacrum created by the hero Imagesbyalex (Our very own, "Sketch a Day", Alex's character) an Illusion/Kinetic Controller and is basically a free-willed solid illusion. The Crey report goes into the details.

Cool concept. -
Say, those are pretty keen. Are you charging or are they freebies?

I have a costume bug. It's been going on for months, now, and I've bugged it in-game a couple times.
The costume looks fine in the tailor window and in my costume slot, but in the real world the Boots, Neck cover, Chest Emblem and Squadron goggles all have their colors inverted, displaying the secondary color rather than the primary one. I've monkeyed with it a dozen different ways and used up a bunch of free tailor sessions, to no avail.
Screen cap of the issue.
Any ideas? -

Sorry I missed you the other day IronikI was respecing and when I was done I logged. I saw your local hello in Kings Row to late. Hope to catch you ingame soon.

I figured you were doing something like that. It was just a surreal moment, seeing a level 47 hangin' in the Row.

Those are freaking AWESOME!
How do you such clean shots of the characters? Every time I try it, it comes out like booty, because I either cut too much off the character, or the character gets a 'bleedthrough' of the background.
[/ QUOTE ]
I probably throw out 10 X the amount of pictures I use lol. I just take tons!I will generally set the screen resolution considerably higher when I am trying for screengrabs just so that I can enlarge the image later and it won't look blurry.

You know the main difference between a professional photographer and an amateur? The size of his trash can.
I have to say, I think your costume design is second to none, and your wallpapers are pure brilliance. Keep up the superb work! -

I'm SO glad that this thread didn't get purged.

Me, too! Although I did notice that Image Shack deleted a couple entries for some reason. Oh well, I need to make a new list anyway, what with all the new toons in town.
I was also thinking of an all-elf SG. Based in Croatoa or Perez Park, with characters limited to traditional faerie/high fantasy weapons: broadsword, axe, bow, mace. -
[ QUOTE ]
Okay Ironik,
I must say your list is impressive. I was looking for the total number of toons you have created.
I am not tooting my own horn, but I will have to get mine posted here. I have 4 accts, and for sure, I have 64 that are played (thats 8 villians, and 8 heroes on each acct, on Justice and Freedom that are regularily played) This does not include all the other toons created on Virtue, Pinnacle, & other various servers.
I do bow to you with using every letter of the alphabet, I know you beat me there, LOL!!! But if I am not right there with ya, I am close. I will see about posting my toons here for proof. But I salute you and your greatness of Alt-itis!
I am glad I am not alone! LOL!!!

Four accounts! Great googlymoogly! I would love to see those. Love.
I counted my alts up at one point and had somewhere just north of 200. That was a while ago, though, so I've probably made somewhere in the neighborhood of 230 or so. (Including beta.) With only one main account and one trial account, that means a lot of deleting the old to make room for the new. I think the highest level I've deleted is probably upper 20s.
The newest alt is The Expressionist. (I keep forgetting and calling him The Impressionist.) To make room for him I deleted the evil doppelganger of Ironik, named Iron Will. He was only level 5 or something and I demorecorded him, so no big loss. -
Okay, I made a guy for the group. I call him The Expressionist. He's level, er, 5, I think.
Here's a screenshot -- despite it being a jpg from my two-year-old comp, it looks a little like a painting to me.
