I think so -- lemme check. brb

I had that same pose on my alternate-world Katana Scrapper, Tsuba Inu. It takes a quick hand, now that demoedits are borked.

As I commented on DA, I'm glad I didn't try this since mine wouldn't have looked anywhere near this awesome.

I really like that first issue for Atomfire -- nice colors.

It's not bad, but I think you need to work on your balloon placement. Having them scrunched together leads the eye from one to the other, resulting in skipping a panel. Either that or you need wider borders to properly delineate between the individual frames.

It's a lot of work. I saved each shot separately with its own name, then trimmed them to just the character. Then I opened all the ones with the same letter and figured out how wide a picture I'd need and pasted them all in alphabetically. I cut M and S in two just so ImageShack could handle the pics. I probably could've gone bigger, but at that point I didn't want to wait around for it to load only to get a "file too large" message.

What is that funky alien font you used at the bottom of that picture?

Looks like Roswell Wreckage to me. (Yes, I am a font fanatic.) -
I thought I commented on DA, but that looks cool. The pose seems to be just after she's heard something startling and is ready to throw a beatin' if it comes to that.

Wow, you really got some great stuff there. I like Bokuman's the best, but they're all dang good.

Pg 2 has been sketched... but I'm thinking about one per week might be my pace.
Maybe I should have held off 'till I had more done (?)

For your sake -- and, yes, for ours, too -- I hope little Juggerthana is one of those rare babie who sleeps through the night. Otherwise this comic will likely become increasingly surreal... and produced at the rate of one page every three months.
All kidding aside, you should wait to show the rest until you have either a complete story or a complete section that has a natural ending point. (Cliffhangers and plot twists are good stopping moments.)
As it stands, the first page introduces the character, gives his backstory and then ends on a cliffhanger. It's fortuitous that you were able to accomplish that in a single page, but it should also be the goal when revealing the next stages of the story. Just to avoid the whole, "And then I --" kind of abrupt interruptions.
It's a crackerjack start. -

A couple of months ago during one of my sessions in gathering screenshots to put into a comicbook for the recent contest, I was able to capture one that really stuck out for me.
The screenshot

I haven't even gotten to the comic yet, because this screenie stopped me cold. That is freaking awesome. It's easily one of the all-time top 5 screenshots I've ever seen, from any game. It so perfectly captures the spirit of what City of Heroes is about.
::: standing ovation :::
Bravo!
