Quote:When the real-life stuff happens, losing a game hurts but doesn't kill you. In the grand scheme of things, it's a part of your life but it's not your entire life.At least it didn't happen a few years ago. I'd have been a wreck. Or last year, when I was caring for my dying father. Maybe I'm stronger now. Or maybe I've been dulled to emotions. But I haven't cried yet.
My cousin died a couple years ago. I was fortunate in that she was also one of my best friends -- we would've been friends even if we hadn't been related. But 46 is too young. *I* almost died at 45; I came within hours of the real lights out. Compared to that stuff this is a disappointment, but it's not a killing blow. -
I had just returned from seeing The Bourne Legacy (excellent flick, btw) and logged on to Facebook and saw the post.
I was like, "Wait... what?" -

Yeah it's one of those days. When I woke up this morning, my first words were "F u c k i n g. B u l l s h i t". No joke.
Anyone else having abnormal changes in behavior?
Don't do anything crazy. Life is change and a lot of times it hurts, but this too shall pass. As bad as it is for the players, it's a thousand times worse for those who lost their jobs yesterday. -
You'll buy the whole seat, but YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EDGE!

You could do each player (with a super identifying them) and have them do various teleports and disappear, leaving an empty spot.
And for all the people talking about music, I think the only appropriate tune to use is the Atlas Park theme, the first thing we all heard.
I kind of feel like there should be something honoring the *real* fallen: Kiyotee, Lucas, Lord of Time, Malibu Sally.... -
Quote:I know it when I see it.I just got signed in and I am downloading the client now. I am an older player of RPG dating back to the days of TSR D&D first edition. My game name is Baodeath and I am looking forward to playing this mmo with you. Sounded like a great game, lots of fun from what little I read. I am also impressed by RLSH (real life super heroes) the ones running around doing good things with or without a costume. I hope I posted this in the right area, can someone tell me what is required for VIP status?

Does "least profitable" equate with "not profitable"? To me, even if its making $100 a month, that's still a hundred bucks you didn't have before.

12 grand?
Two please. -
Powerful stuff. Who says games aren't good for you? If nothing else, this story was worth it.

Jesus, Troy, you really *are* like Beetlejuice.
I have screenshots around here somewhere celebrating the inclusion of Cyrus in the game, when we all got together on Guardian.
Good times. -
I blame Lord British. That ****-tard. 100 million bucks. Ridiculous.

I actually do know how to spell "ironic." Misspelling it was supposed to be, well... you know.

Yeah, this place was awesome. In the nursing home we're all gonna say, "I don't care about your genetic enhanciles. I flew before flying was cool. I was a hero. And where's my pudding?!"

Quote:Screenshots and demoedits for me.What are you doing to preserve your time playing CoH? For me, I'm going to jot down my character names and powers for posterity.
The Alt Alphabet is larger than ever, and I'm sad it will soon come to an end. But I need to get these suckers captured for posterity. -
