Something easy, like Heatwave, would be best. Sometimes just combining words yields interesting results, like, um... Fireflux. Then there are fire-related words: Flashover or Char. Adding prefixes to ordinary words works wonders: Professor Flame, Dr. Heatstroke, Mr. Blister. (Okay, maybe those are villains. Does the hero have a villainous twin? Or dad?)

Pyre, Bonfire, Tinderbox, Salvo, Ignitor, Combustor, Wildfire, Scorcher.

Tech hero: Hotwire.

I've often wondered why we don't have turbans in the game. Probably so as not to offend somebody-or-other. Better safe than sorry, after all.

I like the wrapped boots option with tucked-in pants. That picture in the OP looks like it has a bandolier of some sort. Vest or jacket, maybe, with T-shirt underneath, perhaps. Someone used the Angelic (or similar) pattern to simulate leather straps on bare arms for an archer in another thread -- maybe an option like that would be good. Tied belts seem more Arabian to me, even though the one in that pic looks metallic.

I'd try it myself, but my comp that CoH is on is currently broken.

Of course, one would actually have to own those costume pieces in order to make an entry. I sure don't. Demo-editing them would be a tough row to hoe.

Fire-Man... from beta, maybe? Or early in the launch? No idea, really. But look! No little turny-arrow things underfoot! It's olllld. (And back then, we didn't have "Hero" or "Villain" icons, we had Origin icons.)

Metal Tiger, definitely from beta. And ugly. Ew. But there's Ironik and Cuke, ready to go! They still live!

Kromatik... totally forgot about this guy. Electricity Blaster, I think.

Zot... yet another robot. Also apparently Electric Blasterish.

There are lots more, but these'll do for now.

I'll end this post with my all-time favorite concept supergroup (and I'm not just saying that because I dreamt it up): The Tanker Toys. It was a hoot to watch these little guys run around on their stubby little legs, pounding the stuffing out of baddies. The idea was that they were a shipment of action toys which had become self-aware somehow -- I forget the details -- and decided to become heroes. We had a bunch of binds and would show off in Atlas Park before and after running missions. Always a crowd pleaser. Eventually there were two other SGs imitating us. I was TT 117. Represent! (117 is the black one in the middle.)

I really like the names Patriette (excellent pun!), Magic Trick and 800-pound gorilla.

I like Dead Cheerleader's look as well as Cometblaze's.

But the overall winner for me is Mad Cow. Makes me want to create a Mad Cowgirl!

A politely-worded email to your ISP or hosting service should get you copies of your stuff. Definitely try that ASAP, before they do delete the files.

It's extraordinarily bad business to delete someone's website without any warning, and not something I've heard happening recently. If the polite emails don't work, escalate it and threaten legal action. Make it sound reasonable and you'll probably scare them into giving up your stuff.

And the real lesson is to always backup your stuff... and probably buy your own domain name and host it somewhere else. It's pretty reasonable nowadays.

I just got a nice comment on the Slaughtermouse piece you did for me.

No, that's the only one. It was quite helpful two years ago, since you could add capes and auras and then run the character through a bunch of emotes, but with all the new costume pieces, it's just not as useful.

That looks cool, plus the detail of hooked sleeve is nice.

Plus how much they don't want to pay the bar tab!
