I've got a miracle +recov, where do I put it? I hear they last forever in auto powers like health and true grit, but my friend said his numina unique only works when he loads a new map.
[/ QUOTE ]
Your friend is mistaken and I think I know why. Sometimes the effect will DOUBLE STACK when you zone. He's probably noticing that. -

Note that if you run AE missions, nothing drops purples.
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless, of course, it's a Dev's Choice mission - which is unlikely to be a farming mission.
[/ QUOTE ]
Have we confirmed that? That Dev's Choice does indeed drop purples?
[/ QUOTE ]
Me personally? No. However, I've heard from others who have gotten purples and they've certainly dropped everything ELSE for me (enhancements, common recipes, set recipes, etc). -

When did the video game industry get a pass for sloppy work? I like this game, but don't excuse sloppiness by implying such standards are acceptable fare.
[/ QUOTE ]
(shrug) Why should ANY software company be held to a higher standard a big name like Microsoft? Most software is like this. ESPECIALLY software where there is a built-in, routine updating process. If you know you can fix something next week, and force all users to update on your schedule, what's the hurry to fix it now? -

So, haven't seem many BA tankers since I returned to the game...
Do you guys feel weak when facing a lethal resistant mob?
[/ QUOTE ]
I'm used to it. My main is BS/regen. It's really only annoying when I'm exemped down for something like the Synapse TF. I'm gimped to start with AND facing enemies with lethal resist.
I have a shield/BA tank at level 41 and have been very happy with him so far. -
Sounds random. Last night we got Nemesis first (for sure) and the Countess last (for sure). I'm not sure on the sequence of the other two. I think it was Vanessa then Gyrfalcon.

1. GW - as a tanker I've found that taunt alone will NOT hold aggro from range, and without a way to immob her you'll have a LOT of trouble keeping her at range. I'd suggest everyone just eat enough purples to stay at the 45% soft cap and pound from melee... her heal has to hit in order to work.
[/ QUOTE ]
I have to disagree on the first two parts. I had no problem holding aggro with just Taunt and, as long as I had Sprint on, I could just run in a big circle and she only got in melee heal range of me once because I was a little careless. Immobs make it easier, certainly, but we had none on that team. -
Not too surprising.
My first suggestion would have been to exit edit mode and exit the base completely, then re-enter. That fixes lots of issues. -

And, Hero-side you can take the Yellow Line Tram to Galaxy City and get to the Registrar there fairly quick.
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, I usually go to Atlas Park because the O-Portal can drop you there, and zoning into Ouro is very fast. -

Are the empowerment buffs worth having?
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah. Example: You have an alt who does not have KB protection. You can build temp buff that grants it!
[/ QUOTE ]
Longer answer: most of the buffs suck. As noted, the knockback one is pretty damn good. The 'invisibility' one (really stealth) will stack with a stealth power and give you invisibility. Aside from those two, the rest are pretty shabby. -

Like this?
I tried to put them in order by lvl range, but also put adjoining zones together, while keeping the area compact, but not crowded:
[/ QUOTE ]
That's one way. In my main SG, we have all the city zones in order by level, then all the hazard zones by level in the next room. Pocket D is an oddball so that's at the end of the city zones.
I've also seen bases that put them all in alphabetical order. -

Everybody else on my team was experiencing the same thing, inside and outside of missions.
[/ QUOTE ]
Interesting. I had this too last night and several people on the team complained about it. This was during the Kahn TF so I just figured it was related to the TF (like the ITF lag hill). This was on Infinity. We started the TF about 9:45 PM EST. I did another TF after midnight and did not notice any problems at that time. -
Very odd, but look at the bright side: FREE MERITS!!!

I thought that might be the problem so I bought a new keyboard but same thing.....well maybe i can figure something out, thx for the help all.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's a total crapshoot and even different models from the same manufacturer can behave differently. I had a Microsoft 'Natural' keyboard and it worked fine. When it wore out, I replaced it with the most similar Microsoft model I could find and it had the problem you describe. I had to go through THREE keyboards to get one that I could live with. The next one I bought did not have the keypress problem but it had the cursor control keys in a different pattern than I was used to (and use at work also). I thought I could learn the new layout, but it was too annoying switching layouts between home and office. (I do lots of stuff on the computer - typing text, spreadsheet work, programming - and can 'touch type' the main section, numeric keypad and cursor control section.)
At the moment, I'm using a 'Logitech Deluxe 250 Keyboard', model number Y-SAF76. After using it a few weeks to be sure I was happy with it, I bought a spare - just in case this model isn't available in a few years when this one dies. -

Greetings,
A new Canon Fodder post is now up with some additional info on Blue Steel for those that were *not* amused last week.
Happy holiday weekend to everyone!

I am looking to find the global channel on a server that's not Freedom, Virtue, Victory nor Justice that has the biggest amount of people who like to just charge!
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, any active server should have something to interest you. Your list includes the 1st, 2nd and 4th most active servers (I don't know how Victory ranks). Infinity is #3.
I'm mostly on badge channels but Infinity Hamidon is a general TF channel for the 99% of the time where there isn't a Hamidon raid taking place or being planned. -

Is this one day to 50 thing common? Am I out of the PL loop? To answer my own question, the fastest I heard was 2 days during double xp weekend.
How fast have you heard it being done?
[/ QUOTE ]
Apparently, when khelds were first introduced, people had them at level 50 less than 48 hours after the AT was introduced to the game. Obviously, this was without AE, double XP or patrol XP. -

And what do your experiments in transdimensional horticulture have to do with this?

[ QUOTE ]
Your confront should have a longer range than her hold so if you keep her at max range you should be safe. I know I only ever get hit with it when we turn the kiting corner ( when I slip into her range )
How do you plan to get passed her 10% per person melee range heal? 7 Scrappers in range = 70% heal = very very long fight
[/ QUOTE ]
Unless I'm misunderstanding, his comments about using Confront from range were to keep her from targeting/healing off the rest of the team while he would be outside of her melee heal range. -
How about variations? Anyone ever tell you that you look funny, or smell funny?

If you ever watched the old Wonder Woman show from the 70s Lynda Carter's boots magically became flats whenever you'd see her in an action scene as well.

Yes, that's one of the more common superpowers. It's a limited form of 'instant change'.
