    Ouch. Much better method is to solo it. Get two other people (it needs 3 to start), one of whom is willing to leave their character on the TF (they can log out, but not quit it).

    Then solo it, spawning for two, at your own pace. I've done this on a scrapper, controller and tanker. I'm sure I could do it with a blaster or defender - I just haven't.

    Not in this game. You can target by name or general categories (like enemy, pet, ally, etc).

    I would think a big reason for this is that different people have different plans/goals for their tanks. I have one tank specifically built for fighting AV's, GM's, even Hamidon. You better believe he has Taunt (and it's five-slotted).

    On the other hand, I have an ice tank with both auras, two AoE's (one PBAoE and one ranged) and three single-target ranged attacks. I didn't take Taunt and never missed it.

    This could work. Actually, I would propose something a bit different - an inherent for all AT's that gives a recovery bonus of, oh, maybe 1/2 to 2/3 of unslotted Stamina, but which DOES NOT STACK with Stamina.

    This makes life a little easier at low levels; it makes life a little easier for people who try to do without Stamina, and it has no impact on people that choose to take Stamina.

    I pretty much agree. I'd sell it, but then I'd probably go after global accuracy or global recharge bonuses.

    My badger got it before I actually decided to hunt badges with him. He's /regen and it was before hitting 50, but I exemped for TF's a lot on the way to 50.

    Also, I believe one of my tanks hit 50 with 4 damage badges and 1 debt badge.

    You're aware that Transfusion has to hit the enemy, right? Most people slot some accuracy in it, or an Accurate Healing set. Of course, if you have a ton of global accuracy bonuses, no problem.

    What AT are you? For most AT's, in my opinion, it's a waste to slot 3 heals in Health. Certainly, for any AT with even the poorest self-heal, it's really a waste.

  16. I just logged in and tested the power and it looks fine to me. I stomped a few groups and did notice one thing - you get that expanding shockwave effect at the stomping foot *AND* around each enemy that you're hitting.

    Is it possible that you're standing in a crowd and seeing the effect coming from multiple locations? If not, then it seems to be just you. It looked perfect just now for me.

    As for the 'new rule', it sounds very reasonable but, quite frankly, I've ignored the no bumping rule when I really needed to (once ever). As I recall, I didn't have a response in almost 2 days so I bumped it. Someone posted 'no bumping'. I replied to that post re-explaining my problem so I effective got 3 bumps there.

    My personal impression is that any minor rules (like no bumping) can safely be ignored as long as you don't make a habit of it (like I said, I've broken that rule once ever). Worst case scenario - some forum cop calls you on it and you disregard them.
  20. Many people consider the game unplayable with 512MB of RAM. And, in some cases, it literally is.

    You'd want 2GB of RAM and a much better video card for sure. This would almost certainly mean a new power supply. It might require a new motherboard - that one can handle up to 8x AGP but no PCI-E.

    So, yes, time to get a new computer.


    P.S. Overall, though, that's not a bad system considering it only cost you $100. It's fine as long you don't want to game on it or run a big app like Photoshop.

    Nonsense. No one was forcing anyone to use the info kiosks. There was no inconvenience imposed on people.

    As for level-restricted zones, if what you say is true, then presumably there would not have been any new ones after CoV came along and was 'missing' them. Can you say 'Cimerora'?

    No, they have not. I had it happen a couple days ago (on live). The only reason I noticed it is that I had 2 accounts running - one was zoning and never saw several global channel messages that DID show up on the other account.
