Well, when someone is saying something ridiculous, I feel a need to respond. Otherwise people might think it's a reasonable statement. (Well, someone might think so, maybe, if they were kind of simple.) So, when someone says, "I never knew speaking in local chat was against the UA." a truly clueless person might well take it at face value and conclude that the game management is genuinely unreasonable.

1. Empath badge requirement was reduced by a factor of 10 to needing 100 million points healed. The original value of 1 billion was admitted (a long time ago) to have been a typo error (which took ages for them to get around to fixing).
2. "Marybashing" (AKA Bloody Mary runs) earns about 5 million just for the first mission. Big bucks there. -
Indeed. The listing order was reversed. (Most recent remains at the top.) There was no official statement about the reason, but I believe it was to use human nature (new players picking the first server listed) to even out the populations.

Personally, I still run this task force quite often. The reason is - those 10 AV fights in the first mission will give you a couple MILLION influence in one mission. Plus, you're defeating swarms of magic enemies so there are good salvage drops to be had.
Also, those AV fights are just nonstop mayhem, which is kind of fun.

I'm not exactly certain what you're saying. Let me see if I have this right:
The recharge time shown on the enhancement screen correctly reflects the recharge reduction from the enhancements in the power but does NOT reflect the global recharge reduction from the set of Positrons' Blast you have slotted in another power. Is this correct?
If so, not a problem. The enhancement screen only shows the effects of the enhancements in the power. The global bonuses *ARE* being applied correctly but they do not get listed on that screen. I can't verify that every single bonus is working right and that you're not experiencing a unique problem. However, in general, the recharge bonuses work just fine - I've checked with a stopwatch to be sure.
If that's not what you were concerned about, please say so and give us more details. -

I would bet good money that the answer is 'No'. That would be adding a completely new visual effect, rather than customizing an existing one.

It's still an accomplishment to me, and most of the people I know. I gained exactly one level on Double XP Weekend because I was playing a 50 most of the time.
I had a character hit 50 about two weeks ago. I was excited about it. Part of the excitement is what to make next, since I usually semi-retire my toons once they hit 50. -

Personally, I had a great time. I love doing TF's and did 9 this weekend.
My anecdotal impression of population was that it was very high. My yardstick is how many people on my global list were online. -

Rather than jumping all over the guy for posting this, maybe you should have considered that perhaps some servers ARE having issues this weekend. Hop over to the Tech forum and there are multiple threads about server problems.

Can we get your system specs? The really important items would be the exact model of motherboard and how many watts your PSU puts out (while you're at it, the 12v amperage would be helpful).

Moderately interesting introduction, leading to a thinly veiled rant. Was there a question in there? Sure, there were some rhetorical ones, similar to the classic "How long do I have to put up with this"?

I have an ice tank and recall being quite happy with his toughness, even before IO'ing him. What are you fighting? If you're in AE a lot, the enemies in there can be way out of whack with the rest of the game.

The little triangle we click to show new messages is *WAY* too small. It should be about triple the size.
