Then you have been clogging up the petition system for no good reason. That's not what it's for and sending suggestions through the petition system will not get results. Really, posting here is the best method because that lets the devs see that there is (or is not) widespread agreement. Also, people will post suggestions of ways to fix or improve it.

People have suggested that we should be able to choose to turn email off completely and I think that's a good idea. Others have suggested eliminating the email system completely and I think that idea SUCKS LIKE A TORNADO. But that's just my opinion because I actually use the email system. Frequently.

I have another question. First, however, I checked my dark defender and she does indeed have two sets of Positron's Blast slotted. She has 95.7% recharge on Howling Twilight (longest recharge power) and 55% global recharge. This should give it a recharge of 71.8 seconds. If my Posi Blasts were not working, it would be 75.6 seconds.

I tested it and timed it with a stopwatch BEFORE DOING THE ABOVE MATH so that I would have no preconception of what to expect. I timed it at 71.6 seconds. Clearly I am getting all my global bonuses.

Now, my question: were you taking into account the animation time? If you time it with a stopwatch, you need to start timing when the power executes (AFTER the animation), *NOT* when you click to activate the power. On some powers, this could be a 3 or 4 second discrepancy.


P.S. I would have been pretty hacked off if I wasn't getting all my global recharge bonuses!

Actually, your initial assumption is mistaken. AE is the *FASTEST* way to level up. "Best" is a value judgment and many people honestly feel it's a lousy way to level up because you miss all the content written by professional game designers rather than farmers.

In many games, the 'real action' starts when you reach max level and can do group raids, special content, etc. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE GAMES. Why do you want to level up? Are you here to create a bunch of level 50's for a bragging contest or are you here to play the game and have fun? Quite frankly, much of the content in AE stinks and much of the activity in there is simply boring farming.

The stuff you can do in this game at level 50 is EXACTLY the same stuff you can do along the way as you level up. In fact, there is some content that you CAN'T do at level 50 unless someone else with a lower level character helps you (Safeguard and Mayhem missions).

It's your $15 per month and you can spend your entire gaming time in the AE building if you like. Take note, however, that most of the veteran players *DO NOT* spend much time in AE. It really isn't that impressive compared to the rest of the game.

As for leveling, what's the big deal? I spend most of my time playing a level 50 character that I got to 50 long before AE existed. I'm not here to level - I'm here to have fun and play with friends.

Yep. I just had one join my SG. She's been playing 3 weeks and has a 50 from AE. She told me she didn't see the point of AE any more since it made you miss all the other content. That's when I invited her.

In all seriousness, yes, I'm seeing more new players than I have in quite a while.

um, 75% accuracy means you hit 75% of the time in the long run.

But sometimes the choices create a problem for no good reason. Sometimes. And sometimes people can be persuaded to make different choices.

Actually, they took them down due to a completely separate issue. Any time someone summoned a Rikti monkey vet pet, it would crash everyone nearby. And by "nearby", sometimes it took out everyone in the zone. This bug was introduced in the patch this morning.

I was in a CoT mission yesterday and encountered a large group of enemies, mostly behemoths. Every single behemoth was reading a book. My comment to the team, "Behemoths can read??"

This is so over-the-top impossible that you must have one or more typos in there.
You were able to consistently hit a +7 lieutenant and defeat him alone?
You have a 60-70% miss rate against even cons when everyone has *base 75% accuracy* with no enhancements slotted?
Does not compute.

For the most part, speed tests tell you nothing about how fast you'll be able to download. Your speed test says your connection is about 6 times better than mine. Furthermore, when I first downloaded the game, my connection was only HALF as fast as it is now, so about 1/12th of yours - and I downloaded in under 3 hours.

Single greatest factor in download speed: network traffic. I downloaded it around 11 PM.

So yeah, your connection kicks butt, but there are lots of other factors affecting download speed.
