I appreciate the customer service manager calling me, and even she said 'everything that could go wrong went wrong' with my interactions with customer support.
Let me see if I have this right - you're quitting a game that you like, leaving friends that you will miss, because of the behavior of ONE person, even after their superiors followed up with you and attempted to straighten the matter out?

It seems to me that you're overreacting and hurting yourself more than anyone else. If I had the manager or proprietor of a business act inappropriately with me, sure, I'd be gone. If I had one employee out of THOUSANDS give me a problem, I'd simply deal with someone else.

By the way, by any reasonable standard, you DID get argumentative and combative. If you plan to complain about someone - don't tell them so. Surely you grasp human nature enough to know that's a bad idea.

If you take, slot and use your non-green-number-generating buffs as well you can keep ahead of the healing even on tough missions. (Though you may not want to use the buffs too liberally as it may drastically reduce the amount of healing you get to do.)
I agree. (As an aside, I'm also a member of Paragon City Search And Rescue on Infinity.)

The Medicine pool is pretty feeble. Whenever possible, I try to get some Leadership powers on my defenders. The Leadership powers are most effective when employed by a defender and if you get a few of them stacked, they can be shockingly powerful.

    FYI, my emp has:
    8 powers from the primary
(no Absorb Pain - I have a distaste for powers that kill me)

4 from the secondary - Dark Blast, Dark Pit, Moonbeam, Tenebrous Tentacles
Three of these have -acc for the enemy and one is an AoE stun. Yay damage mitigation.

    Invisibility - Grant Invisibility, Invisibility
    Leadership - all 4 powers
    Teleportation - Recall Friend, Teleport
Flight - Hover, Fly (With no Swift, I Hover in missions - it's slotted up faster than Sprint. I took Fly for fun. )
Power Mastery - Temporary Invulnerabilty, Power Build Up

He's got all kinds of useful and fun powers and is lots of fun to play. That's what's important.

  4. Same. I know several people using 7600GT's. They can't set their graphics as high as I do, but since you don't expect to be doing mothership raids (or even teaming) it should be more than sufficient.
  5. Apparently, I wield a dangerous tongue depressor. Someone -repped me from this thread and the comment is "aaaaaa".

Absolutely correct. They would be called a "flip-flopper".

Have you tried taking the screenshot then pasting into an image editor, rather than using the copy CoH saves? Secondly, have you tried bypassing CoH completely?
  9. And it's not actually random. That's one of the ones that will be running at all times in an auto power or a toggle that is turned on.

You know what, I was wrong...we actually need 15-90 animations

    Walk forward
    Walk backward
    Walk Strafe-Left
    Walk Strafe-Right
Stop walking, transition back to ready

Times 3 for each body type: male, female, and huge

Times 6 for the various 'modes' to both cover the different hand/arm positions and to properly transition back into the appropriate 'ready' stance when you stop walking: Ready, Combat Ready, Weapon Ready, Dual Ready (used by katana and archery as well), 'Shotgun' Ready, and Shield Ready
    Learn to read, Ded.
All those things I specifically said we don't need and that the people who want the walk emote would be completely unconcerned about.

Saying all that do you really think that he, as a dev would really be happy doing "just a walk emote"? Do you think the staff would be happy doing "just a walk emote". Especially for something "not everyone will like, and take more time to do than pretty much anything else".
Now you're mixing and matching quotes - deliberately or by mistake, I don't know. Doing JUST the plain walk emote would NOT "take much more time to do than pretty much anything else". Go back and read what you quoted.

When they don't get the bump like the others do, they'll turn on the top and negatively rep them as their way of getting ahead. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if those complaining of getting negative rep were negated by the other rep hounds of the very same thread.

    It's inevitable.
    Sweet. We need more drama.

Seriously, you are FACTUALLY incorrect. Do you expect to impress anyone in this section, where people are actually KNOWLEDGEABLE about the market, with your uninformed rant?

Oh, I get it now. This part amply demonstrates your character/personality.
    Carry on.
  14. Actually, careful testing has shown it's not quite that simple. Just because the extra HP are exceeded, does not always mean the full damage will count. And I have no idea why or what other extraneous factors are involved.

The only thing that appeared to be consistent is that if the extra HP were only exceeded slightly, the results were unpredictable. If the extra HP were exceeded by a massive amount, then all the damage would count.

And now we see the reason for your automatic naysaying. It's a feature that you personally see no use for.

Accept that others want it very much. No one is going to force you to use it.

(shrug) Then don't use it. I guess you don't like the flypose emotes either.

And it *IS* a bogus claim and it did NOT come from the devs. The devs simply pointed out what would be involved in the full set of turn/strafe/etc movements. Naysayers then take this and claim it can't be done any other way, completely ignoring the existence of the flypose emotes.

  18. Yep, I was paying attention to this last night and something got borked. My RAM usage for CoH got as high as 1.3GB. It has never gone that high before.

It got even stranger when I loaded a second instance of the game. Both instances would intermittently freeze and get the 'Lost Connection to Mapserver' message. From one instance using over 1GB, it seems they would fight each other down and ended up with both instances around 100MB each and laggy as hell. I've never seen the game use that LITTLE memory after being played for a while and it clearly impacted performance.
  19. I've had it happen a few times in the past week, never involving Pocket D. It's never gone away. It just gets really bad sometimes, and then they 'fix' it, so it only happens occasionally.
  20. When were you noticing this? I heard that Double XP Weekend didn't use Patrol XP. (Can't say personally, since I didn't pay attention.)
  21. You can have my spot. I don't play enough on Virtue for this to matter that much to me.

If someone does this on Infinity or Freedom, though, I'd be interested.
  22. Ironblade

    Wp toggles

It's not specific to any side, AT or powerset. I have it happen every so often regardless of what character I'm playing.
