I pre-ordered my copy of Windows 7 Pro, so I'll be building a new system once that's out and patched at least a little. It will definitely have an i7 CPU. I suppose I'll have to look at RAM prices at that time to decide whether to go with 6 or 12GB of DDR3 . . . .

Quote:It works for my fire/fire brute.and I'm one of the few people crazy enough to make Self Destruct part of my regular strategy (usually combined with the Safeguard self-rez power).
1. Leap into a group I clearly can't handle.
2. Toss a couple of AoE's.
3. Self-destruct.
4. Rise of the Phoenix.
5. Profit.

On my main, I have a huge arsenal of weapons I can pull out: revolver, baseball bat, sledgehammer, shotgun, flamesthrower, bow, Crey pistol, etc. Currently, the coolest one is the Dimensional Grounding Ray because so many people have no idea what it is. -

Yes, some of those times are too low, dramatically so in some cases. Also, there is no mention of the fact that some task forces have a random mission order and will NOT conform to the sequence listed.

You can also highlight text in the chat window with your mouse, then copy and paste (ctrl+c and ctrl+v). This is particularly useful for situations where an NPC says something amusing and you want to tell your friends - you can copy the entire line, including the NPC name, and then paste it to another channel.

Quote:Perhaps, but that's not the same thing as being intentionally designed to PREVENT multiple instances (which some programs do - like the CoH updater). To some extent you're fighting a losing battle here because CoX isn't designed to run multiple instances on the same machine, and NCSoft will tell you right away that they don't support such efforts.
Like most programs, you can EASILY run multiple instances of CoH as long as your system is powerful enough to handle it. I'll say this again: multiple instances of CoH run FLAWLESSLY with the only restriction being the specs of the computer.
The OP is only having problems because he wants to run them at different graphical settings. -
Quote:People are funny. I had a comment a while back that said "aaaaaa" and was -rep. I posted in the thread about it and someone else posted "bbbbbb" with +rep.As I said earlier, I love the rep comments. Whether good or bad, they're hysterical. Personally, the only ones I don't like are the empty ones.
Amusingly, the -rep was 1 pt. The +rep was 9.

Quote:The fourth is usually Justice, although I have seen it in 3rd place.Last I heard the populations in order go: Freedom, Virtue, Infinity, and it gets sketchy from there.
I have never seen any server other than Freedom and Virtue get locked due to load. Accordingly, unless you must have big crowds, I would suggest Infinity or Justice. Both should be big enough to find teams easily but have just about zero chance of getting locked during special events.
You might also consider playing on TWO servers, one at each server farm (East and West coasts). It's not unusual for internet issues to cause problems or complete inability to connect to one site. The server locations are listed on this page on Paragonwiki.com -
Quote:Yeah, when I saw the word 'triskelion', my first thought was 'quatloos'.Though I don't remember seeing the flag before i am very familier with the Triskelion and it's connotations, and I must say, when I found out about the adoption of that symbol by the BDSM community it made me look at that Star Trek episode in a whole new light! LOL

It's good that you're correcting one part, but then you got the levels wrong. It's 5-10 and 10-15. Yes, they overlap. At level 10 you can get EITHER mission (and it's random - not under your control).

I hate anything that might interfere with my jerk hacking and dupin rares.

The club is a state of mind. I've crossed the billion influence line multiple times (when it hits 10 figures, it starts burning a hole in my pocket) and I don't feel any need to post a screenshot.

Sure can. The cost of purple recipes has gone through the roof. I sold a couple last week (couple = two) and got 380 million influence. Luckily for me, they were two of the most popular ones, but even the lousy ones are good for 15-20 million.

Except this is not the case, so it does not make sense.

To be fair, sometimes it really is random. Their computers pick some truly randomly. And, to be fair, some are due to racial profiling.

Put me down for team two; character TBA. I must have SOMEONE 45+ who doesn't have Portal Jockey . . .

Quote:oooo, I'd better stop it, then.Ironblade, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but that is the closest thing I've seen you post that resembles empathy to your fellow players, instead of the matter-of-fact, ruthlessly honest, This-Is-The-Way-It-Is, Call-You-Out-On-Sh%& way you normally have. It's nice to see!
