Some of them, maybe. But since he specifically mentioned Empath as the prime example, your statement is irrelevant. No one got that one without EXPLOITING. Yes, I'm using the dirty word!

Advantage?? From the epic badges? In what way?

As a matter of fact, someone who plays more DOES get a tangible advantage - they will have more influence and IO recipes.

So I'm sitting there, a few posts back, thinking, "What the heck is offensive about this name???"

And... I guess it's already been changed. Okay. Carry on.

It seems to me it's a WIN for everybody.
Plenty of people have thought of that and mentioned it. What it comes down to is:
    1) Do farmers increase supply due to selling things they don't want?
    2) Do farmers increase prices due to having a lot of of influence to spend?
I don't know the answer and I don't think it CAN be answered without extensive datamining by the devs since we don't have enough information. I don't know if even they could answer it, since you'd have to be able to reliably identify the farmers - after coming up with a mathematical definition so a computer could say who is a farmer and who isn't.

    Respec Failed

Okay, then did you check for either of these previously mentioned conditions: "Are you in an AE arc? TF? Ouro?"

These states do NOT reset when you log off. You can log in and still be 'locked into' an arc or task force. Even if you're alone (i.e. not on a team), you might need to open your team window and see if there is a big 'Quit' button.

When you're at the breakpoint level between two safeguards, like 35, you have a 50/50 chance of getting either. I would think the easiest method would be to find someone who has the mission and go along with them.

If you MUST do it on your own, for whatever reason, go into options and turn off your XP so you stay 35 indefinitely. Then just keeping doing radio missions until you get the safeguard you want.

Outside of 6-11pm or so (Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific Time Zones), the game starts getting a little scarce. But it's by no means a dead game during off-peak hours.
It is also worth noting that, according to www.ParagonWiki.com, Justice might be a good choice for the following reason:

    Quote:
During the beta-testing period, Australians coordinated to make this server the "unofficial Australian / New Zealand server." Consequently, Justice commonly sees more players active through until maintenance, as the timezones for New Zealand (UTC+12) and Australia (UTC+10) mean that the maintenance window happens locally around 11:30pm (Sydney time). As such it attracts Australian players for the last 5 hours of activity (6pm-11pm AEST).
  8. What, now? According to the Issue 16 notes, this TF is getting the merits upgraded from 24 to 42.

Anyway, I can bring my ice/FF controller, Ice Force. He's level 48.

Update: this is half-fixed on test.
The Day Jobs will correctly display immediately after being awarded.
    The accolades still do not.

This has been mentioned a number of times as a quality of life issue, particularly for people with impaired vision. The cursor is customizable in Windows and many other programs. Unfortunately, the Windows changes do not carry over into CoH.

Oh, and this comes awfully close to putting words in my mouth and claiming that I suggested people not bother with anti-virus. My exact words were:
"By all means, install AVG (I use it). For malware, SpyBotSD and AdAware are both on my computer."

I didn't backpedal squat. I said I saw it on one site, went looking, and found confirmation. And no, it was not a site with an ulterior motive.

I wasn't trying to convince you of anything and I don't care if you believe me or not. I was describing circumstances to the best of my recollection. Feel free to take that as a statement that my memory is faulty and all my comments should be ignored.

You're right that most players will never have certain IO's. What you fail to understand is that most players simply don't care about them.

Interesting. I wonder why you would say that to Sailboat, who has a reg date a year earlier than you and seven times as many forum posts. Exactly what suggests that he or she is new to the game?

And, no, you don't have to consider khelds the best. Some of us think those AT's kind of suck.
  17. I think it's the same PTS you run into villainside, because Dr. Aeon is somehow involved.
  18. Then go do some research. I read that on a security site, was skeptical, and found the same basic opinion expressed elsewhere.

If I remembered where I had seen it, I'd post a link. But I don't, so I can't and don't feel like trying to track it down again. Feel free to regard it as ridiculous and ignore it and/or me. I promise not to be offended.

I know that. I have this item installed. I said "when crafting it". Someone said that the prestige would come from the SG when the item is crafted and I don't recall there being ANY charge at that time.

There can be restrictions on the number of PURCHASES per day on a single credit/debit card. This is for security reasons and is not a fixed number. One person might get stopped when trying to make a 2nd purchase on a card while a different person could make 3 purchases using a card from the same bank.

I believe you can purchase multiple items as a single transaction. The people that usually run into this security feature are those who are trying to purchase items on multiple accounts in one day.
  24. Indeed. Building a base requires resources that a lone hero does not have (yet). I would suggest JOINING an existing supergroup first. Thereby, you can learn the mechanics of the supergroup system, what sort of things bases are good for, etc.
