  1. 1: What's a good ancillary with this? The Fighting pool?
First, the Fitness pool. You NEED Stamina. My dark/dark is only level 27 and already has six toggles. He'll be getting two more at levels 28 and 30. The Fighting pool is a good idea, in my opinion. Tough is one of those toggles I just mentioned. If you don't have a preference about travel power, I'd go with Leaping for two reasons:
    1) You can get immobilize resistance early with Combat Jumping.
    2) Combat Jumping is 2.5% defense - not much by itself but dark armor has some defense in it.

2: Would going with IOs ASAP be a good idea or should I wait till I'm in my 30s?
I feel that low level IO's are rather deficient in their effectiveness. I start slotting IO's around level 35. The exception is those where the power is independent of the level - for example, -knockback, which I slotted at like level 15. Also, the Miracle +recovery unique, which I slotted at 17 (the set starts at level 20).

3: I usually alternate between my primary and my secondary when it comes to acquiring new abilities-should I get all my tanking abilities FIRST and then worry about attacks?
Well, right off, one of your attacks is a really awesome power. Siphon Life is decent damage AND a self-heal. Sadly, you can't get it until level 16. Overall, you can afford to go a bit light on attacks initially since Siphon Life is dual purpose and, if you go with the Fighting pool, you'll have Boxing available. At level 27, my tank has four attacks, including Boxing.

4: How useful is the stealth power if I'm a tank? Should I skip that one?
You don't want it for the stealth. You want it for the 5% defense to all. It also gives +PER, but you mainly want it for the defense.
  2. Additionally, you may (or may not) have the option of using discount coupons which are earned by logging out at the tailor.

And yes, the free costume tokens can be used to change EVERYTHING at once. You can change every single costume part, your face and hair and every color.

Anyway, lots of people are reporting this. Based on the TF's I've done, I agree - the recipe drop rate does appear to be borked.
  4. Okay, a big resource for information about the game is www.paragonwiki.com

Go to this page and from there you can read about what changed with each issue.

You say it was a looooooong time ago that you played. I would suggest starting with a scrapper. They are very simple and very durable. I think they're an excellent archetype to start with to learn the ropes.

If you want someone to explain stuff, I play mostly on Infinity and my global is @Ironblade1

That is correct. A level 10-15 arc will exemp you to level 15. You will have the accuracy, hit points, etc of a level 15 character. *AND* you will have access to powers up to level 20. ALL exemping has this change.
  6. BTW, it does seem to be working now. I got the MoKahn badge a couple hours ago.

Wrong. PvP recipes sell for as much as 2 billion. Purples are reasonable.

Oh, and did you really need to make 2 threads, 8 minutes apart, to whine about the same thing?

If that's not an option, I would like to see them:
    - At a high end store
    - available in reward roles for merits or AE tickets

I know some are going to hate this.
    Yep. Horrible ideas. HORRIBLE.
They're described as "ultra rare". They're supposed to be very hard to find. This is not an accident or oversight.

Not currently possible. Click on the base portal and get a listing of 8,000 bases? They'd have to completely rewrite that section for minimal benefit. And I'm not sure what you mean about jumping servers. You'd have to jump servers no matter what - bases are not cross-server.

    Any guess'

Supposedly, it fixed the MoKahn (entire teams would DC at the end of the last fight and get no rewards). Don't know if that's true, but I got the MoKahn badge this evening.

Well, someone I know asked me to join a MoKahn attempt and told me that they had heard from someone else that they were able to get the badge. We did it, succeeded, and got the Master badge.

Hardly a statistically valid sample, but it worked for us.

Only the Kahn/Barracuda one seems to have the problem. ITF seems fine. Several people were told by GMs that the problem had been fixed but Beefcake posted that he immediately ran a MoKahn and it was NOT fixed and the entire team DC'ed in the last fight.
  15. No, that's not new. You could name the builds previously.

However, they are insanely powerful and well worth having.
  18. 1. CLEAR glass panels.
    2. A skylight that looks like a skylight and gives off a lot of light.
    3. Water squares that we can lay down just like the floor plates.
4! I want four things! I want fountains!

No need to pitch a fit. The terms of service make it very clear the servers can not be expected to be available 24/7 and you agreed to those terms.

any ideas before I just cancel my sub and ask for my money back?
I believe the terms also say you have no recourse - pretty standard.

And of course, any new mobs in the active mission that HAVEN'T been spawned yet will now spawn under the new difficulty.
There is another factor in the misunderstanding. On a normal team, you can see everyone's missions and see each person's difficulty. On a task force, you can only see the current TF mission *BUT* you do NOT see the team leader's difficulty. You see YOUR difficulty. Everyone on the team can see only their own difficulty. Confusion/argument ensues.

um, you're doing it backwards. What you just wrote is correct. The myth is that clicking the glowies makes the reactor room harder.

Well, if you've had one account a while and then get another, you absolutely positively do not get the vet rewards on the new account. No way, no how. I don't recall that being written anywhere, but that's the way it works.

Now, your situation is one EU / one US but I don't really see how that has any bearing on the matter. What it sounds like you really would benefit from, is the ability to transfer the account to the US servers.

Is that a known bug? Didn't have time to investigate it further.
We had that happen last night and I found a way to fix it. One person commented that they 'lost ownership' of their zombies and someone else had lost their imps. Other people on the team had them conning as blue allies, rather than green teammates. Just for kicks, I targeted one and buffed it (thermal shields) - and that changed it back to displaying as 'owned' by someone on the team. I was able to 're-convert' every pet back to conning as owned by buffing them one at a time.

    Very odd.
