I'm in.
Please note, the tower repairmen AI is still funny. They are able to start healing the towers before the players can target them. Best solution is pets or a non-targeted AoE (like a 'rain' attack). -
Yes, I need MoITF.

It appeared to be fixed last time I switched toons.

And if the tickets were being handled by a robot, they would all be done the same way. Humans are prone to error. Not all will have equal training, maybe someone missed a memo, maybe someone got yelled at by their spouse that morning.

No, you're misremembering. The 'claim them quickly' warning was in reference to the two free slots granted to everyone, NOT the one-per-year vet rewards.

Quote:This stinks. Previously we could have a bunch of people below the level of a signature TF and face tougher enemies, or be at the max level and turn the difficulty up to make them tougher.Added restrictions to prevent player difficulty from affecting Task / Strike Forces
Now, with supersidekicking, everyone is SK'ed up and the task forces are boring (*WERE* boring, until we turned up the difficulty).
If this means we can no longer increase the enemy level, it well and truly STINKS. -
Quote:You can do both to an extent. Recovery is always the first bonus in the set. Slot a pair of one set, a pair of another, etc. With a full set to pick from, you can pick two pieces that give you the effects you need and you can get some extra +recovery. Certainly, lots of powers don't have enough sets with +recovery to pick from, but a lot do.I'm a huge fan of frankenslotting your main attacks. Set bonuses are nice but they usually impose some compromises in enhancement values.
P.S. The OP mentioned cost as a concern. Going this route is CHEAP.
P.P.S. Overall, it's not going to be as hard as the original post suggests. My shield tank has 7 toggles but I don't need all of them at all times. Frankly, when solo or on a very small team, I only need three. On a big team, the odds are good that you'll have someone who can help with your endurance issues. -
1. Drop rates are supposed to be low.
2. Your sample is far *FAR* too small to be statistically valid. Get enough kills to get a hundred drops and then examine the distribution. -
Yes. Complex bases take longer to load. Our main base is beautiful and packed with stuff. Our alt base has all teleporters, med-bay, workshop and less than 60 decorative items in the entire base, which is only 8x12. It loads fast.

Sally has no feet or flippers of any kind? -
When you say the software says you have to update video drivers, are you referring to the red warning text at the bottom of the login screen? I've been getting that for over a year and don't feel like updating my drivers. The games looks great and works perfectly.
Try just playing the game and see how it works. Your drivers might actually be fine. -
Except those are only story arcs. They are NOT task forces / strike forces. For one thing, the AV's will scale down to EB's.

Quote:No, you're mixing apples and oranges, or metaphors, or something. It is resistable, which is why Stone Tankers/Brutes love Kins so much.
Speed Boost does not target slow effects. If it only did that, it would have no effect on someone who was not already slowed. Speed Boost increases your move speed and recharge - this can effectively negate a slow effect, but NOT because the Speed Boost is targeting the slow effect. -

Quote:No, not reallly. Even you yourself called it an 'announcement'. It really should have been in the announcement section. I missed it too. I check the Announcement section every time I log in. I don't read the Community Digest, only the Dev Digest.Wait, does this announcement posted yesterday not count?
It was on the Community Digest. -

Quote:I would guess he didn't actually fight everything on the map with a character. We know they have a "Kill All" button that they said was SPECIFICALLY created for testing drop rates. All they have to do is paint the map and hit the button. For all I know, they have a shortcut to spawn all the enemies, too.As to the general problem, it would be nice if Synapse were to provide more details about the character he used to test the drop rates. We know the mission he used, and others have collected data contrary to his results from that mission, so maybe it's something about the character used. Maybe it's related to using/not using pets, or something even weirder.
At any rate, it's a safe bet he's not doing it exactly the same way we are - which means the testing process might not be able to reproduce the issue. -
Some internet research advice, then. The one thing you knew for sure was the name 'Silver Mantis'.
I searched on her name and the first link was for the Silver Mantis Strike Force. If you use the Go button, you'll get the page ABOUT her, with the link to the strike force at the bottom ("See also...").
On the page about the strike force, right under her picture, it says "Accessed through Mission Computer or Oracle" where 'Mission Computer' and 'Oracle' are links to the relevant articles.
The site kicks some serious butt. You just have to learn the ins and outs. It's like learning to use Google for optimum effectiveness. -
I had to hunt Council in Indy Port for the Citadel TF and there are still spawns that are entirely Council. Also plenty of all Fifth.
