I would also suggest getting inside the case with the vacuum crevice tool first to clear out some of the dust. You don't want to be poking motherboard components with it, but there are plenty of areas in the case with nothing fragile.

As for where to buy compressed air; I've bought it at CompUSA, Staples and, most recently, from Amazon.com because I happened to think of it while I was ordering a bunch of other stuff.
  2. If you hit a 'funny button', I must have hit it too.
At first glance, it seems confusing, disorganized and ugly. I'll have to see if it grows on me.

I find this comment particularly amusing

So, The NCexecs "clearing up" anything just looks worse IMO. Maybe if BABs, Castle or Posi (not SexyJay, what would be the point? The man makes zero sense) I'd be more willing to hear it.
It's even more amusing, and possibly more representative of the posters intelligence if you include a bit more of it.

um..... what? I honestly have no idea what word he meant to put where he has "breed". I'm always astonished at how many people post in a public forum and make zero effort to proof-read their writing. This has the unfortunate result of putting the reader in a position where they can not distinguish between someone with a good idea but poor communication skills -or- a gibbering moron. Maybe he actually believes NCSoft is breeding an entire species of corporate spokesmen.

For some of us players yes this is CoX last chance.
Oh, please. You make this point the capstone of your argument? We've all seen that the market is one of your pet peeves but to suggest that the game is going to live or die based on what is down with the market is utterly absurd.

Sadly, yes, it's entirely understandable. The simple fact is, no matter what people receive, they will find SOMETHING to whine about. We've seen this time and again. Every new feature is accompanied by complaints that some completely unrelated aspect of the game was not worked on/given preference/etc.

    How about having all 30.

Option 1 - You can have up to 9 power trays on your screen so you could have all 30 macros up there at the same time if you wanted.
Option 2 - Have the macros in 3 consecutive trays but only have one displayed and use the right/left arrows on the tray to switch to the other trays.

Or the enemies have ridiculously high defense. For example, a Rikti drone with a force field on him compliments of a Rikti Guardian.

It's also worth noting that, while damage does have a hard cap, you can't get anywhere near it by stacking 8 Assaults. So stack those buffs through the roof!

We got a stone tank in granite to superjump (stacked Inertial Reduction) and fly (stacked Group Fly). Drag the power to the chat window to get the details, see how much debuff it gives and compare it to Granite.
  9. The last time there was a 'discussion' on the forums about walking, I insisted it could have all kinds of restrictions on it, that it could be even more limited than the flypose emotes and people would still want it.

    Various people insisted:
    - It would be too hard to implement.
    - It would have to be so limited that there would be no point.
    - I was clueless.
    - We would never have it.

I now openly sneer at all of the naysayers.

    Can't.
Unless I misunderstood, the OP does not have that armor. It simply shows up on their character when they go into the SG screen to change SG color settings. Many of my costumes get all screwed up on that screen.

It doesn't matter what the character has access to. The costumes on the SG screen are MASSIVELY borked. Different armors, missing pieces, tights instead of armor, etc. Now that they've overhauled the tailor, they really need to get the SG screen in tune with it.

They're easy in RV. Get a Heavy and shoot them down as they come flying out of the redside base.

You're hosed. There is no way to correct it as it is an issue with the internal design (circuitry) of the keyboard. There does not appear to any rhyme or reason to it. Even similar (but not identical) models from the same manufacturer can behave differently.

In general, you have a few options:
    1) Keep using a keyboard that you know works the way you want.
    2) If you have one that you like, buy a spare NOW while it's still being manufactured since keyboards wear out.
    3) Any time you buy a new keyboard, pray.
    4) Buy a gaming keyboard. They are generally designed EXPECTING multiple simultaneous keypresses.

I went with option 2. I found a nice Logitech keyboard with a layout I liked and that handled CoH's multiple keypresses and I immediately bought another for when the current one wears out.

Well, it was useful back in the day when the comments had to be delivered face-to-face and the recipient had the option of punching you in the nose. But now, with this newfangled interwebz thinger, it's all pretendy fun time games.
  17. Last two. It exemps you to 40 so you'll be missing the powers you took at 47 and 49.

So what? The "stated policy" clearly isn't a hard and fast rule since they released this patch with a TON of items not related to the Halloween event.

So, apparently, they do do it.

Yeah, but so what? Niv neither designed nor implemented the system so that's really just an opinion. It may be the OFFICIAL POSITION of the management but, since they didn't create the board software, it's still just their personal opinion of what the rep system is 'for'.

I know a guy who used to hunt them with a bow. He carried a .44 magnum pistol in case he missed and the boar charged him.

(Although I figure if anyone could handle a boar in hand-to-hand, it would be this guy. He sat at a computer all day and was built like Charles Atlas and was a competition power-lifter.)

Yeah, my cousin ran into that. She was in England and saw a garment she liked in the window of a thrift shop, so she went inside and asked about the plaid pants in the window. They were utterly puzzled and asked her to point out what she meant. She did. "Ah! The tartan trousers!"
