I agree it's skippable, but I took it and have just the one slot with the Steadfast unique. Hey, 3% def is 3% def.

Ghost Falcon is from another dimension and is hoarding influence to get home.

Quote:Fascinating. Did you notice that the link color is different in his post and in your quote? Also, both are different from the links in his sig. Have the two of you changed some default settings, perhaps? Because my links don't look like either of those colors. Please, everyone, stop coloring your links. They are automatically highlighted for us in a way that's actually able to be seen.

Quote:Fail. What does bother me is how much you people only care about what you think is good.
We're not that self-centered.
We care about what *IS* good. Of course, this is a value judgment and subject to differences of opinion.
Disagreeing with you does not make us petty, self-centered or whatever word you used that was censored. -

This is the internet. We can take any action as fervent support for whatever position we like.

Yes. Once the percentage of enemies remaining hits a certain number, based on the original total, they will become visible on your mini-map.
-
Aside from your character doing well against Rikti, the only reason to focus on the Warzone would be if you are also after Vanguard Merits for the costume parts and temp powers. Of course, these will do nothing to boost your influence.

The Taunt sound effect seems particularly prone to problems. For a while my dark melee tank made no sound at all when taunting. The animation played, but no sound at all. That got fixed a couple months ago.

I would mind it. It would be completely absurd that you could walk invisible through a room full of enemies and the perfectly visible person following you, who the enemies went to the trouble of kidnapping, attracts no attention.

I'm in, with Agent Pitchblende - earth/rad specifically created to put a hurt on Mary McComber and pals.

Quote:Absolutely correct. And believe me, they're out there. That's why I don't do PuG TF's.I wasn't considering myself as the average here. What I was saying is that there is a large number of people that run it regularly and quickly. To pull the average out to 3:18:00 there would seem to need to be people completing it in what would be insanely long times.

Quote:I don't agree. It seemed easy enough with about 15 heroes and no debuffs so I think well-built teams will keep doing it for the merits and won't mind others coming along since it does not diminish their merits.I expect it will be like the banner event (but easier). At first there will be a ton of people doing it in the more populated zones, so it's always easy to succeed. After a while, hardly anyone will want to bother with it and it will be much tougher to gather enough firepower to pull it off.
-
They probably do, but not a safe assumption since the Shivan has a duration and the Heavy does not. I believe the illusion Phantasm (no duration) will follow you across zones, but Phantom Army (has a duration) will not.

The kilt is a veteran reward and is not available until your account has been active for 9 months.
The snowball is a temporary power associated with the Winter Event. The event was tested one day this week so people were able to get the power early. You will have the chance to get it, as a random present or by buying it in the Ski Chalet, once the event starts (my guess is Monday the 14th). -
Quote:Actually, from what I see, lots of green means one of three things:More like
Green is for sycophantic fanbois who make gushing posts to the devs and need each others love and support to convince themselves they're not as insular and narrow minded *** everyone thinks.
Red is for: Dared to say something against the forum cartel, constant posters or suggest there is anything wrong with the game.
Grey is for: **** you all.
1) the person is popular
2) the person is helpful
3) the person is a rep farmer
Red rep is much simpler. People with red rep pretty consistently seem to be jerks. They just THINK they're daring/visionaries/nonconformists/etc. -
Yeah, now I'm really chalking it up to perception. When someone starts talking about intuition and drop rates, it's due to a shortage of facts and statistics.

He didn't say he hated them, just dealing with them.
I recall a line from my grandmother - "I like cats fine, as long as they don't touch me or come near me."
Oh look! Now the original post isn't saying anything at all!

HP aren't the only factor. The Lord of Winter was far easier to defeat than Reichsman. Two teams could do it pretty fast (WELL within the timer) with no debuffs at all. With the right powersets, a single team could walk all over him.

Yeah, I was slotting an AoE hold and calculated the numbers I could get with 5 acc/hold/rech pieces...... Just one problem. Only FOUR hold sets actually had an acc/hold/rech piece. Still, I got pretty good numbers in 5 slots.
P.S. I didn't even look at purples since the character was too low. -
When you say "full salvage racks", is that the current 30 items full or the 'legacy able to hold 2500 items' full?
-
Well, we were already informed that, even if someone can access both sides, they will only be able to access EITHER Wentworth's OR the Black Market. PvP zones could work the same way.

Quote:Yet my invuln can tank anything in the game, up to and including Lord Recluse in the Statesman task force. At this point, I think we have to conclude that the problems lie elsewhere than the invuln set.I would have liked to at least be able to take a mob's ALPHA strike without being completely in the red. Maybe then I'd feel like, I dunno, a TANK?
Seeya.Quote:But screw it. The mechanics make no damned sense to me anymore, and I just don't give enough of a damn to bother. I'll just go back to my PS3 until TOR is released. Been fun.
