Stop acting the fool. You stated one position, which I quoted, and it was false.

To be precise, both types of Warden gladiator have the same name (Longbow Warden). We call it the Longbow Warden 2, but that can be confusing. We should really call it the "500 point Longbow Warden".

    Please note:
    1) For arena healing, heroes and villains can be on the same team.
    2) More people on the team = more healing credit.
    3) I do this 4-5 nights per week.
    4) We're both on Infinity.

I am currently working on the healing badges for SG #25. If anyone has an SG on Infinity that you fear will never be able to have the Auto Doc or Robo Surgery, drop me a line.

    Not today.

You said this previously and it was false the first time. Repetition doesn't change it. Unless, of course, you preface the second sentence with "SOME", or perhaps even "MOST". But, as it stands, it's a blanket statement and is false.

  8. Sorry to contradict (partially), but NO and YES.

Health is *NOT* a healing power. It is a REGENERATION power and is unaffected by healing bonuses. Healing powers can be identified by you going click and a green number appears over your or someone else's (or mulitple someones) heads.
Examples: Heal Other, Healing Aura, Aid Other, Aid Self, Dull Pain.

Powers that increase your RATE of self-healing for a duration are regeneration powers and are not affected by healing bonuses.
Examples: Regeneration Aura, Instant Healing (yeah, despite the name it's a regen power and not a heal power).

Also please note: *SOME* heal powers do *NOT* receive the healing set bonus. These would be the ones that also accept Damage Resistance sets, like Reconstruction in the regen set.

Keep in mind that the prestige from the fillers goes away if the fillers go away. The first 15 members added will give 20K prestige each. But if you fall below 15 members total, each members departure subtracts 20K.

Damn. You had all kinds of weirdness going on.
In my experience, the counter would never go above 400. I guess the game 'remembered' that when you zoned.
Also, it has given messages for rep as low as .1 so I don't know what it was thinking when you got .8 and it said 0.

Anyway, congratulations on getting the badge. I'm glad that whatever wonkiness was going on didn't interfere with the badge awarding.

  13. Very important power. You want over 90% each on heal and recharge. That means 3 and 3 if you are using SO's, or you can do it in 5 slots with IO's and get some set bonuses.

My main VG has finally gotten to the point where I don't need these teleport bases anymore and I'm thinking of selling them. I just don't know what I should ask for them.
hm, not a lot. I bought a VG with med bay, storage room, teleport bay with 4 teleporters and about 2 million prestige in the bank. I paid 80 million (40M influence and 40M infamy).

4 more means I need 400 "at one time".

2 more means I need 400 "over the course of my career". Which is it?
It made perfect sense and I guess the original question wasn't entirely clear.
At any rate, the badge is for hitting a rep of 400 at that moment. Open the rep window and whatever number it displays is the number it's using - get that to hit 400 and you're done. So time is an issue. If you only work on it one day a week, you'll be down 14 when you get back to it the following week and have to earn 14 just to get back to where you were.
  16. Ironblade

    is it possible?

I doubt lag would be an issue. People play from all over the world on the NA servers. I know people who play from Japan and Australia.
  17. This is the kind of bug that sucks. Maybe it's only a specific type of mez, maybe it's only Build Up from one powerset, maybe it's only one AT that does this. feh.

Because if you're NOT saying that, then what you said is illogical and nonsensical.
The only illogic and nonsense I'm seeing is when you restate my position for me, twisting it as you feel suitable, then knock it down.

Of course I'm not saying that running is fun. I'm saying that it's less annoying than being attacked.

So, yes, it IS a simple time calculation.
Now you're just making up BS. Unless, of course, you can guarantee that the goal of the PvP'er is to defeat the target once and then leave them alone. In reality, SOME PvP'ers will defeat the target AGAIN AND AGAIN even if they gain no rep for it. So your numbers are total hogwash because the PvP'er in question isn't *YOU*. Only then could you state how the situation will go.

I was with you up to this point but here you are flat-out WRONG.
It's a *PvP ZONE*. If you go in, you accept that you might be attacked. If that is not acceptable, then stay out. It's as simple as that. Someone attacking you is NOT being rude. They are engaging in PvP in a zone specifically designated for that activity.

  21. I have one immediate thought: are you sure the attack didn't fire? I have seen quite a few situations where I launch an attack and the ANIMATION does not play. This can be caused by all sorts of circumstances. Did you check the combat log to see what, if anything, it reported?

But the "why" can be as simple as "It's not fun." There doesn't have to be something specific about it they dislike. The mere fact that there isn't something that they specifically DO like is enough reason to avoid it.

I think most people are the same. Such extreme avoidance of PVP to the point that you'll spend several minutes fleeing to the place that another player could just send you in seconds isn't because "I don't like PVP", it's because you're afraid of losing, you're afraid of looking bad, you're afraid of losing face, and you're afraid of being ridiculed.

People run in PVP because they are afraid. No other explanation makes any sense at all. Just "I don't want to PVP and would rather leave and do something else" justifies standing still and letting the other player kill you to get you back to base faster. Even fighting back would take less time than running and you MIGHT be able to even finish what you were doing.

Running is because of fear. Period.
You are wrong. I speak from personal experience.

As I posted previously in this thread from hell, I spend hundreds of hours in RV, mostly fighting pillboxes. When someone attacked me, I fought back and usually won. I knew in advance that I was making a big investment of time and that fighting back was an efficient course of action so that's what I did. I didn't find PvP fun when I started and it didn't 'grow on me'. I still don't find it fun.

Now, if I'm in Bloody Bay and get attacked, even on the same toon that can kick butt in PvP, I run. PvP isn't fun for me and running seems less inconvenient to me. It's not a simple time calculation like you and others seem to be insisting. If it's not fun, I don't CARE if it's fast or not.

And now I guess you're going to say that I'm lying to you or lying to myself, right?

That 'smacks of' the position that anyone who disagrees with you is either lying or mistaken.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, it sounds like your account never lapsed. Did you do the following:
    1) Cancel automatic monthly billing.
    2) Wait until AFTER the paid month expired, so that you could not in fact log into the game.
If you didn't do that, then it didn't lapse.

What it SOUNDS like you did is cancel monthly billing and immediately (within the hour) switch to yearly billing. Unless your monthly subscription actually EXPIRED during that time period, your account did not lapse at any time. So, if I've understood correctly, file a petition and you WILL get the badge. You're not the only person that has had an issue with the badge awarding and they can easily look up the information to verify your eligibility.

  25. Absolutely not. Exchanging actual MONEY for influence or infamy would be against the rules. In-game exchanges are fine.
