Later on, I decided to make a character with some resemblance to me. Accordingly, I gave him the mustache and beard I have. I think it's called Gunslinger in the costume designer. But I don't play this guy as much and he's not in one of the SG's that I run. -
Yeah, but if you can get an AoE immob, then you can have the best of both worlds. You can immob the crowd to keep them from fleeing. Or, if they're handing you a beat down, you can use Burn to MAKE them flee. I have a fire/fire brute with the AoE immob from Mace Mastery (Black Scorpion).

If you want opinion: Is this a reasonable combination that won't make the character suck? Yes.
Is it "good"? I dunno. If it's fun for you, then it's good. If you want a gun and high damage, you probably want a blaster with the primary set Assault Rifle. You also need to pick a secondary power set. Devices is a popular choice to portray heroes who use weapons. As for the teleportation, anyone can get that. -

Which still doesn't explain why it hits the Hollows every single time and no other zones. Every day that I've been on, I have seen zero supernatural activity in other zones. I saw 4 in the Hollows yesterday, 3 the day before.

Actually, the 6AM one is APPROXIMATELY 18 hours after the noon one. Depending on whether the completion is under or over the 18 hour mark, the merits might be reduced even further. -

I saw the Hollows get two in a row last night. Someone on the team said he thought it had been 3 in a row. We saw ZERO other supernatural events. This was on Infinity.

Still, you ran into a pack of jerks in-game. Just because it's weaker than some other sets doesn't make it useless or gimped. I've taken fire armor to level 50.
Anyone more knowledgeable than you, who doesn't conceal their knowledge, is a "geek speaker"?
