As a matter of general information, spawn size is generated dynamically. Actual team size at the moment applies when you get close enough to an enemy group for them to spawn. As noted, on a task force, this includes people who are offline but still on the team.

So you don't need any shenanigans to change spawn size.
Difficulty setting is a different matter (and currently inapplicable for task forces).
  2. And when he says "a completely different list", he means you won't even see them. When you log into the game, you are shown EITHER the NA servers OR the EU servers, based on whether you have an EU or NA account. You would have to have one (or more) of each to be able to choose from all servers.

It's not creepy enough having human-sized mirage shapes that disappear when you get close?

Oh, is she vulnerable to lethal damage? That would explain it. Nosferatu was a tough fight for my broadsword/regen and I had heard that the Madame of Mystery was also tough. And then I beat her like a rented mule and wondered what was going on.
  6. Not Romans in general; just ancient Romans.
It's because they didn't have cookies back then.

    Wierd Bug

I assume you're the guy who was asking about this problem in Atlas Park on Infinity? I was the guy who suggested you post about it (Captain Firekin). However, I specifically said you should post in the 'Technical Issues and Bugs' section. It's further up on the forum listing, in the second section ('Development').

Also, you need to give more information. When you restart CoH, how long does it take for the problem to return? Is anything else affected? Can you post a screenshot? The more information you provide, the greater the odds that someone will actually be able to help.

    Yeah, *WE* get it.
What about the new players who don't even know what a global *IS*, let alone how to search for one?
What about the people who don't know that the forums EXIST?

Where the title says "ET", it should be "EST". In more universal terms, this would be Greenwich Mean Time -5.

If I recall correctly, doesn't Montague explain that he obtained the crystal by other means and is operating without the knowledge or approval of Ouroboros? If so, it makes sense that time traveling for Monty would NOT grant access to Ouroboros.

I used to work with someone who had two cats named Bob and Fred.
Is it just me, or are those not 'cat names'?
  12. Not only do you never lose access to the trial once unlocking Karsis, you don't actually have to unlock him before you outlevel him. You can unlock Karsis by using Ouroboros. Just do Talshak's arc. If you felt like it, you could wait until level 50 to unlock the Cavern trial.

Same deal applies for Ernesto Hess and Katie Hannon. You can unlock them after outleveling them by using Ouroboros.

After 10 runs on the highest setting possible.

This was the only way I could think of to test the system, and I think it makes it clear. Something broke the system again.
I did FIVE runs TODAY on the Council Empire map and got THREE PURPLES (plus other stuff, of course).
    I guess it's RANDOM.

The number was reduced when Base Salvage was eliminated from drops and made unnecessary. The racks were changed to let them hold Invention Salvage and the devs don't want people hoarding it.

The salvage was 30 stacks, I could see, but a 30 it will not even hold all my Backstreet Brawler Gloves in a single case, I could not store all my candy cane in all my cases and I don't even have enough for a respec (500) yet.
So carry them on your character. You can carry 9999 candy canes. Why do you need to store them?

It was a flurry of "don't want them to make this game more like WoW". We don't care what they read.

It's just that we often see the attitude of "Well, WoW has so many subscribers. Obviously every game should copy them in order to be successful."

Yeah, because you don't do it. Does it take longer while you're learning? Sure. And a farmer will suck the first time he tries to run a map solo. Any skill takes some time to learn to be efficient at it.

Yoiks. Let's hope the devs don't see this and/or pay any attention to it. We do NOT want the creators of this game 'taking lessons' from World of Warcraft. The games are very different and we like it that way.

  21. No. The operating system doesn't take up extra RAM just because it's 64 bit. That just makes it able to ADDRESS more RAM.

Which probably won't work, because the costume parts won't be unlocked on the new toon until it enters the city for the first time.
  23. Unless I'm mistaken, the boxing costume parts are LINKED to the vet badge, so you don't have access to them until AFTER the badge is awarded and that happens when you first enter the city.

WHOA! One step at a time.
First, we need to issue a memo.

Seriously. As far as holding and surviving aggro, all of the heavy lifting will be done by invulnerability. My invuln's secondary is EM, which no one is recommending, and he can tank the Statesman TF. He doesn't need his secondary helping.

I will make a suggestion, though. My invuln took the Medicine pool so he could have a self-heal (besides Dull Pain). Nowadays, Dark Melee is available for tanks which has both a self heal and a self +END power. I have a dark/dark tank and having a self heal as part of your attack chain is really effective.

An alternate suggestion would be: pick a set that you think is FUN. I picked energy melee for one reason; I had written his backstory and it made conceptual sense. On the other hand, I know people who refused to ever play that set because it had 'pink pom-poms'. If you think some secondaries are downright ugly and others look really cool, let that be a major factor in your decision.
