This is a sad day. My cubical at work has be rearranged such that both my monitors face the door. It wasnt just me but everyone. Thus, people can easily see what Im doing now. There is no good equipment or bodily re-positioning that I can do and my rear view mirror rarely helps.
Word to the wise: the next step may be monitoring software to identify the problem individuals and make an example of them. -
The problem is this:
The people who have good security on their computers, scan them regularly, and use strong passwords recognize the value in them but don't see the need. And rightly so. They already have sufficient security.
The people who are utterly clueless about computer security are the ones who need them. But they don't recognize that. They're noobs and believe that "only idiots get their computers compromised" but they ARE the idiots. -

Unless you work in computer security, you have no idea how "minor" the back-end cost is. And unless you manage tech support, you have no idea what the customer service cost is. -

To be honest I wasn't aware of the fact (before this thread) that names of drugs were forbidden. One thing I can say though. I see far more genericed players on the US side then on the EU side. For example my Forum Handle in combination with my Avatar caused some unrest when the forums were fused. I had had the same combination for a long time on the EU forums and nobody mentioned a thing. Things seem a lot more touchy over here.
