  1. Well, we need more information. Go to this post and start with the part about CoHHelper. The game had a major graphics update with Issue 17 and it's possible your computer simply can't handle it. If the hardware seems capable, then we can continue with other things (like what else is running on your computer that might be causing a problem).
  2. Okay, we've done the signature TF's through Numina so, in terms of level, I guess this one should be next. Someone needs to run these until MsCats returns. (Optimistic face.)

Time: Saturday, June 11 at 1 PM EDT
Location: Cimerora (Don't forget you need to be able to enter the Midnighter Club to get there.)
    Level 35+

    1. Ironblade - probably with a debuffer, unless we need a tank.
    2. Ad Astra - 'damage'
    3. Ellllscry - Endling
    4.

  4. Well, if you remember to do it, you can save the contents of just one tab. If you want the contents of the 'Global' tab, type:
    /copychat global

That will take the contents of your Global tab up to that point and store it on the Windows clipboard where you can paste it into a file. This information is lost when you log and there is a limit (according to ParagonWiki, it's 1000 lines).

The good news is, once you have Going Rogue, you'll be able to . . . 'go rogue'. If you prefer the villain powers, you can take a villain over to hero side by doing Tip missions once you hit level 20. If you like the hero powers and the villain content, you can go the other way.

In either case, by changing your alignment just one step (i.e. from Villain to Rogue, instead of all the way to Hero) the character will be able to visit either side of the game at all times. All of my most-played characters are an 'in between' alignment (either Rogue or Vigilante).
  6. Done.
I love taking surveys. I'm basically a nosy guy so I like to see what people are asking questions about.

If you know he can't provide it, then why even mention this?

Just in case the OP doesn't know the rules, I'll mention that he absolutely SHOULD NOT post any of the details here.
  8. When an emote gets 'broken', it's usually a bug. I would /bug it in game since there's no guarantee the right people will see this post.

Oh, so you're saying that changing something on his computer might actually help?

Unfortunately not. It's a 'one size fits all' solution that simply doesn't (fit all).

This. Infrequently (a few times a year), I'll log in and the game will tell me that the account is already logged in. No one else has access to my account and it has a strong password. Sometimes it just doesn't log you out properly.

Not if you kill them and put their heads on pikes in your front yard as an example to the others.

Well, it's a bad point, then. It's clear that this was intentional, I just think it was a really bad decision.

It's not THAT bad. It's STUPID having to run it 3 times, but it's not terribly hard. I think this sets a really bad precedent. Isn't this the only Master badge so far that is impossible to get in a single run?

Actually..... you have to exemp to 44 or lower to lose them.
  16. I happened to notice something really stupid today, simply because I was playing a very tall tank. The Sequester Warning rings SCALE WITH BODY SIZE. That's awfully dumb, isn't it? The Sequester presumably has a fixed radius and this means the visible rings don't actually tell you if you are in danger due to being too close to someone who has aggro.
  17. Do what I do - wait a few weeks and see if there is a big stink about the update 'breaking' things. If not, go ahead and install it. I installed it a couple weeks ago. No problems.

Sure, you laugh now. But if you caught them when they're in there with the tweezers, PUTTING that hair in there just to vex you, then it won't seem so funny.

That's a pretty stupid analogy. NCSoft owns Paragon Studios.

    No mouse cursor

Is there any indication this has happened to anyone besides you? If not, I suggest it was not the game but something about your computer - despite the apparent 'timing'. Give it a day or so and see if anyone else comes along with the same problem. If so, try to find common factors. If not, it may be just you.

I'll also state the blindingly obvious - it's certainly not affecting everyone, or even a large number.
  21. Ah-hah, but - work with me now - the forums *DO* have a 'suggestion box' and you can find it here.

Yet that's exactly what it is. Not the "faults" part. I'm not addressing positive or negative qualities of the game. But the graphics are certainly "dumbed down" to allow the game to run on as many systems as possible. It's a business decision - no more, no less.

And, as a side note, using a blatantly condescending attitude (such as in your post) makes you sound a LOT like the ego-driven elitist from "That Other Game."
As a side note, I guess that's how it sounds to YOU. I detect a bit of ego in presuming that it would sound that way to everyone.

There's nothing to clarify. je_saist made an offhand remark and you actually COUNTED. Guess who is correct. The real entertainment is that the person who is wrong has this in their sig:
"When you've got an entire thread devoted to slagging you because of how often you are right, and how often they are wrong, and they can't accept it, it's time to celebrate."

Anyway, this isn't something to send a petition about. The power can not be enhanced in any way so it does not have any slots associated with it. That's simply the way it is, i.e. 'working as intended'. If you feel that Dual Pistols is gimped because of it, don't use that set.

Yes, unless you have a reason to want it. I got it on ONE character in order to cover the two reasons I can think of:
    1) You're a collector who wants everything.
    2) You want to be able to craft IO's *CHEAP* (either to sell, or for friends or SG).
Some people get it on multiple toons. That's too much grinding for me.

the salvage slots are nice as well.
Sure, the extra salvage and recipe slots are great. I wasn't questioning why someone would do it; I was questioning why someone would put up with the aggravation of doing it on a level one toon (limited salvage capacity and limited consignment slots).
