The emotes are also 'interesting' on a stone tank running Granite.

Quote:Yeah, some people think it's cute to be in the cutscene, even if it might screw over the entire team. I was on a Lambda today where the MM had to be in the cutscene with his pets. After the cutscene, Marauder aggroed on the pets as the MM ran back to the team and caused several people to die within seconds.I've seen fails for Cut-Scene ninjas walking the wrong way. Really annoying that.
We're just lucky the bonehead wasn't standing a bit further back or Marauder might have run out the door after the pets and caused the trial to fail. -
Yeah, but that's hardly unique to post count. Forum drama queens will always find something.

Players can't? I haven't tried but, if you move your camera off to the side, you can easily teleport to areas your character can't see. Also, you can easily teleport to areas you can't physically reach, like under the floor in the Terra Volta reactor chamber.

I have never slotted taunt enhancements in an 'attack'. I put it in quotes because I did slot taunt in Energy Absorption on my ice tank - I wanted a little extra AoE aggro-gathering since he is my only tank who skipped the Taunt power.
-
I doubt anyone would even ask. I have plenty of toons with a power they don't use that they took to get to a later power in the set. Also, plenty of people take powers just to slot IO sets.

I think that line is a reaction to missions you have done recently, like the ones where they've heard you're working with a particular contact or fighting a certain enemy group lately.

Okay, we're steadily working our way upward in level with the Imperious TF last week and Numina before that. Next up: the Abandoned Sewer Trial AKA the hydra trial.
When: Saturday, June 18 at 1 PM EDT
Where: Atlas Park
Completing the trial gives the Charmer badge. Also, there is an exploration badge in the final room (Head of the Hydra). Minimum level to join is 38 and anyone above 40 will be auto-exemped to 40. The contact is Maren MacGregor and she located in Atlas Park, near the sewer entrance. The trial consists of a hunt and a timed mission (90 minutes) so it's not long.

5. Ms. Mesmer - Manacle (tank - OMG, someone actually specified an AT!)
6. starphoenix - Infinity Comedy

eh, you need to send it by some method that makes it seem like you're being secretive about it.

Quote:This is the part we're having trouble grasping.I figured that this was the case and as minor an inconvenience it is, I suppose it is a necessary evil.
In what way, shape or form is this an "evil"?
It's like if you wanted to be able to level up without earning any inf. The game simply doesn't work that way, it never has, and none of us understand how this can be considered as a negative. -

Quote:Okay, if I'm reading this correctly, you want:an initiate rank that didn't have all the rights of a normal member until they did X amount of things/X amount of time/etc. The other four ranks
. . .
That leaves just one rank as Leader and that seems to be the Super Leader? My question is, if I promote the other Leaders that are a tier below that Super Leader mark,
1 rank at the bottom for newbs
4 ranks for RP purposes
1 rank for the 'real' leaders with multiple people at this rank
Not possible. The highest rank is Super Leader and, just like in Highlander, there can be only one. If you promote someone to Super Leader, you automatically demote yourself in the process. The previous system allowed multiple people at the highest rank. The new system does not permit this. -
Quote:If you look at the heading at the top of the forum, you will see the text I quoted above.
Since you are asking for technical assistance, that would be the recommended course.Quote:Sure looks like you are asking for assistance with it and that it IS apparently that important to you.Sometimes the forum cop routine serves a purpose, like when someone is actually breaking rules and might induce others to unknowingly doing the same.Quote:Since this isn't a forum for official technical or QA support, it merely seems as if you are trying to blow your own horn by offering to help them solve the problem.
Not really seeing the point in your posts, though. -
I would say that was a bug that got fixed. They used to say a lot of different things, then most of them changed to that generic line, now they are saying varied things again.

Quote:So, you mean they nerfed it.Yes, the developers have modified various missions that they felt were exploitable.
Some fixes are nerfs. Some are not.Quote:Also: please do not use the term nerf when addressing a rebalance, the fixing of an exploit, or the elimination of a bug.

(shrug) It looks even more like a Stargate. It's been done lots of times.

It is auto-hit on your target in PvE, but not against AVs and GMs.
I don't recall if the 'splash targets' are also auto-hit. -

Is it the dead part or the goat part that you don't trust?
Would you trust a live goat?
Would you trust a dead wildebeest?
